There is a saying in Wudang Mountain: Ten Ways and Nine Doctors. It is said that nine out of ten Taoists know how to heal.

Thinking that there were tens of thousands of people in Wudang Mountain back then, coupled with thousands of years of mutual exchange and inheritance, it was natural to come up with some miracle prescriptions to cure diseases and save lives. One of these artifacts is famous.

Wudang, said that it is precious, is its medicinal effect is magical. It can not only cure all diseases, but also cure them. People who are not sick can also take this medicine, take it for a long time, can lose weight, can clear the valley, can prolong life. Cultivators in Taoism also call this medicine a divine pill.

Why is it called? That's because from the secret recipe collection, application to drug production, eight kinds of treasures are used in eight major links. These eight treasures, one is called the imperial gold seal, the second is the golden carved jade, the third is the white tiger gate, the fourth is the green dragon blocking the pass, the fifth is the Huatuo Shenfang, the sixth is the Lei Gong concocted, the seventh is the eight immortals in seclusion, and the eighth is the Sanfeng treasure.

The first treasure is called the "Imperial Golden Seal". This thing is actually a gold box where the secret recipe fold is stored. Because the bottom of the box is cast with the four Daewoo of the "Imperial Golden Seal", and the shape of the box is like a large seal, it is called the Imperial Golden Seal.

The second treasure is called "gold carving jade". This is a piece of gold seal used to wrap the imperial gold seal, a golden soft satin curtain that is one foot eight inches square. The whole piece of water is shining and starry, gorgeous and wonderful. It was given by the queen's own hand.

The third treasure is called "White Tiger Gate". This is a lock on a gold seal, made of white gold, with a white tiger pattern embossed on each side, small and exquisite.

The fourth treasure is called "Green Dragon Blocking Pass". It was a golden key no more than an inch long, made in the shape of a dragon. This Golden Dragon Key is the only special key that can open the lock of the "White Tiger Gate".

This golden key is a single root, and if it is lost, then the golden lock can never be opened again. If the lock can't be opened, then no one can think about the secret fold in the box again, and it will no longer be possible to concoct according to the secret recipe. Therefore, this golden key has always been secretly treasured by the Taoists who have served as the head of the whole mountain path for generations, and it is as important as life.

The fifth treasure is called "Huatuo Shenfang". This "Huatuo Divine Formula" is Wudang's secret recipe.

The sixth treasure "Lei Gong concocted". This is the actual method and procedure of Wudang. The so-called "Lei Gong concoction" is to regard the making of purple gold ingots as the most orthodox and sacred work.

Lei Gong concocted, the most ingenious and mysterious, is the "Lei Gong Altar" where the palaces of Wudang Mountain process medicinal materials. Lei Gong altar is selected in the more secluded temples of each palace. This boom, one foot eight feet eight inches long, eight minutes in diameter, is carved from iron and solid wood that brakes the water. What is a brake on water? It is to put the felled live wood at the bottom of the water in time and store it for a long time, which is called stopping the water. The wood after the water brake is calm and delicate and does not deform. Iron wood, on the other hand, is a tree species with very dense and fine fibers and very hard wood. The boom is carved with two coiled dragons, dyed with soil lacquer as the dark vermilion color of the glossy gods. The upper end of the boom is wrapped with a copper cap, and a copper ring is exposed in the copper cap, and a copper chain is wound around the girder in the copper ring. The boom is suspended and rotates freely. A copper-cast nipple is installed at the lower end of the boom, which is neither high nor low, and is falling into the socket for grinding medicine. On each side of the altar is a hollow carved stone drum bench, which is for two Taoists who develop medicines to sit.

This is a set of facilities and equipment of Lei Gongtan, which can be described as unique in the world.

The seventh treasure is called "Eight Immortal Seclusion". The seclusion of the eight immortals is divided into inside and outside. The "Eight Immortals" who live in seclusion within the Eight Immortals refer to the eight main medicines among the one hundred and eight flavor medicines on the secret fold. In order to prevent the secret recipe from being stolen by gangsters, the name and formula dosage of the main medicine of the eight flavors were concealed and replaced by the names of the eight immortals. and the names of the different treasures possessed by the Eight Immortals are used instead of the formula dose. It's like a code. This code is only passed on by the previous governor to the new governor when the governor is re-elected. Before teaching, it is necessary to go to the Golden Palace to build Jiao, and both parties must bathe and fast in advance, and temporarily recite the oath in front of the Emperor Zhenwu. Therefore, this code is difficult for others to know except for the Taoist. The "Eight Immortals" of the Eight Immortals who live in seclusion refer to the eight kinds of blue and white porcelain vases that secretly contain the main medicine of the eight flavors. They were stored separately in eight top-secret places in the Wudang Mountain Taihe Palace.

What is this eighth jewel? It's called "Sanfeng Treasure". In order not to forget the eight top-secret places where the eight types of porcelain vases were stored, a secret map was specially drawn. There is a portrait of Mituyo on the back of the secret map. If a villain steals the secret fold, his ugly gaze meets the gaze of Zhang Sanfeng's self-portrait, and the secret fold will burn itself from the dantian of the self-portrait and turn into ashes in an instant. In the past, Wudang Taoists often said: "The demon burns himself when he sees Tutu". refers to this "Sanfeng Baobao".

However, when you know the craftsmanship of Wudang, you will sigh at its rarity and preciousness.

Wudang has one hundred and eight flavor medicines, which should be divided into different eight parts, and placed in the Eight Palaces within a radius of 100 miles from Wudang Mountain for processing. That is to say, each palace can only divide one of the eight medicines forever, and the potions divided between the major palaces are far from exchangeable. Violators will be escorted to the Yuanhe Guan Taoist Prison for a felony.

The Taoists of each Gongguan Pharmaceutical must go through strict selection, and after being selected, they must be registered, and then reported to the Wudang Mountain Jinding Huangjing Hall for approval. Approved Taoists will also be subject to frequent scrutiny in the future. Without the approval of the disc, no palace view is allowed to use it privately.

There are strict regulations for the Taoists who are selected to participate in the pharmaceutical industry: first, they are absolutely honest and reliable; The second is that you can't leave Wudang Mountain for the rest of your life.

The medicine prepared by the Eight Great Palaces, after one dose, was immediately sent to the Jinding Imperial Scripture Hall, and it was not allowed to stay. The Huangjing Hall then concentrates the medicine sent by the Eight Great Palaces for final compound processing in the main altar of the new building until it becomes a medicine.

Regardless of the General Altar and the Eight Great Palaces Lei Gong Altar, the method and procedure of the concoction medicine are the same, and it takes 7749 days to grind and complete a dose of medicinal materials. After the first completion of the first time, the main medicine was stirred and mixed with the side medicine from the Eight Great Palaces, and then processed in the main altar in two steps. Therefore, there are two sockets in the main altar, one is specially used for the rough processing of the main drug, and the other is used for the compound processing of the whole drug, and finally the finished medicine.

When it comes to Taoist Shangtan medicine, it is very strict. First, before going to the altar, you must first defecate, and then wash your hands and face, which is cleansing. The second is to comb your hair, change your clothes, fix your crown, kowtow to the gods in front of the altar and burn incense, and recite the "Lingbao Immeasurable Human Superior Sutra". After the two things were completed, the two Taoists put on their Dharma robes and ascended to the altar, sat opposite each other, and began to work.

The procedure of grinding drugs is quite tedious and requires considerable skill. For example, in a new process, the number of flavored medicines listed according to the regulations, which ones should be put first, and how many doses should be put into each one at a time, should be put into the nest for grinding. Because the medicine block just put in will inevitably be larger, and in the later stage, it will inevitably be finely broken, and the drugs that have been put in successively have different medicinal properties, in order to achieve a special synthetic effect, there are many grinding skills. Such as: grinding, grinding, grinding, swabbing; Stir; There are also hot research, cold research, urgent research, and slow research; Nipple grinding is also divided into left-handed, right-handed, upper spiral, lower spiral, etc. At one time, the medicinal materials should be ground for 7749 days and nights with different grinding methods. Twelve hours in one day and twelve hours are to be changed. That is to say, 24 Taoists rotate in one day and night.

During the time of grinding the medicine, the Taoist is not allowed to speak, cough, or let anything unclean fall into the nest. Therefore, a sick Taoist is never allowed to go to the altar to make medicines. When making medicines, Taoists must be honest and sincere, and think of making medicines well, helping the world, achieving merits, and helping oneself to cultivate positive results. Before the hour comes, you shall not go down to the altar without permission.

The medicine sent by the Eight Great Palaces was processed in the main altar of the new building, and after the main medicine was mixed, it would take 49 days to finish. Then it is made into a medicine. There is still a difficult and complex process: the ground medicine powder is dropped into the medicine powder by the full-time Taoist priest with the Tianhe water prepared in advance, stirred lightly and slowly, and finally mixed into a thick mud, and then loaded into the medicine mud with large, medium and small different capacities and shapes, and the card is stuck, and after a while, when the water vapor volatilizes to a certain extent, the mold is opened, the spindle tire is peeled off, rolled with cinnabar, placed in a fine bamboo basket, and dried in a cool and ventilated place. After drying, it is wrapped in gold leaf, and then folded with yellow table paper stamped with the seal of the Emperor Xuanwu on the outside. In this way, Wudang was made. Pick it up and put it under your nose to smell it, the smell is fragrant, and it refreshes your heart.

Don't think that this last synthesis process is simple, just say that the preparation of the river water that day is enough to be staggering.

The water of the heavenly river is the dew. Every year, the purple gold ingots are made in batches, and there are always 800 porcelain bottles of dew. In order to collect enough Tianhe water to dispense medicine, every morning, the Huangjing Hall sends many Taoists, holding bamboo poles and tying a clean white silk cloth to the head of the pole, burrowing into the mountains and forests, and specializing in dipping the leaves of various precious flowers and trees into dew. After the white silk cloth is wet, the dew is unscrewed off, dripping into the prepared blue and white porcelain vase, and after being filled, it is sealed with wax and stored, and it is taken every other year. When used, the one that does not change color, quality, taste, and has a strong aroma is the top grade.

The production process takes about 100 days. Therefore, Wudang Taoism often says: a purple gold ingot, a hundred days of piety.

In addition, there is a kind of superlative, the quantity of which is very small at a time. These superb products are often distributed by the Taoist general to the abbots of the various palaces, or the famous high daos, and they are to deal with them themselves in special cases. These superb purple gold ingots have the effect of reviving the dead. For violent illness, acute poisoning, hanging, and other deaths, as long as it does not exceed 12 hours, they can be saved. For this reason, it is also called "Taihe Divine Pill", which actually refers to this kind of superlative. It is rumored that there are also people in Wudang who specialize in taking the Taihe Divine Pill and opening the valley for a lifetime, some of them ascend in the daytime, and some become unpredictable immortals. Even if you are a shallow person with a shallow root of wisdom, you can also be more than 100 years old before you pass away.
