Chapter 25: Arthur's Flowers
When George woke up again, he felt his face warm by the sun, like a freshly baked cheese pie on it, "It's so comfortable!" he muttered to himself, but as soon as he opened his mouth, a stream of salty liquid rushed in. "Ahh
"Where is this?" he looked around and saw a few children running and frolicking on the beach in front of him. Behind them stood a huge wooden building, and George stared at it for a long time, unable to figure out what it was. He saw a strong man riding on it, hammering the top of the wooden building with a hammer in his hand.
He turned his head again, and saw the lamb lying unconscious on the shallows not far away, and her curly hair was wet with the sea, and she hung limply there, looking pitiful and embarrassed.
George struggled to get up, staggered over, knelt down in front of the lamb, and cried out repeatedly, "Wake up, lamb, you won't die, will you?"
"She's just fainted, she'll wake up in a moment!"
A familiar voice came from the beach, and George turned his head to see that it was the leopardskin cat talking to him.
The sand formed a slope here, and the leopard cat stood on it, and the sheepskin on his forehead was gone, and in its place was the piece of rattan that George had held in his hand, and he had woven the dewdrop-covered treasure into a wreath and put it on his head, and George saw it at a glance, which made him angry.
"You're so shameless, give me back the rattan!"
"Whoever grabs it is whoever, if you have the ability, you can snatch it back!" said the leopard cat, turning and running to the frolicking children. The prettiest of them all rushed forward at the sight of him and held him tightly in his arms.
"A flattering and cunning cat, with humans supporting you, you don't think you have to be afraid of anything!" George waved his fist at the leopard cat, and his current angry scolding was not heard by the other party. I saw that the "shameless man" folded himself into a ball, leaned against the little boy's chest very comfortably, and then turned his head again, and pouted at George with great disdain.
"Where is this?" a weak voice rang in George's ears, and he turned his head to see that the lamb had opened his eyes, "Oh, little mouse, you are still there!
"You said that I am your most precious friend, so how can I abandon you?" George stretched out his chubby little hand and touched the lamb's wet face: "How do you feel, can you stand up?"
"I'm fine, I'm just a little dizzy! I bet you must have saved my life with that leaf you gave me!"
"It also saved the life of the leopard cat, but I really regret giving him that leaf now!"
The lamb slowly stood up, and she looked in the direction of George's finger, and she was not surprised to see that the leopard cat had become the pet of the children.
"That's what he's capable of, and that's how Cain was captivated by him in the first place!" she said, shaking her head helplessly.
"I really suspect that Cain was instigated by him to have ill intentions towards his brother!"
Indeed, he often complained about Cain's grievances, saying that his father was partial, so he let him plant wheat. Because then Cain will go to Abel and ask him to kill a sheep for himself to eat, and Arthur will get a lot of delicious food!"
"His name is Arthur, who gave him that name?"
"It was Cain's father, Adam, for he first became Adam's pet, and then he went to the younger and stronger Cain!"
"He's good enough!" said George, sticking out his tongue in disdain, "that long-legged snake I met is nothing compared to him!"
"Are you alright? I see you're soaking wet! Or come on my back, and I'll show you around to see if there's a place for us to stay." ”
Hearing the lamb say this, George unconsciously lowered his head, and when he saw his soaked body and the big fat belly, his face was extremely red: "Oh my God, I look ugly to death!"
"Who said that, I think it's pretty cute!"
George climbed onto the lamb's back as fast as he could, and then buried his whole body in the thick wool: "Please, don't let anyone or any animal here see me!"
"Why?"
"Don't ask, even if I beg you!" said George, so embarrassed that he didn't dare to show his face.
