Chapter 7: Noah's Ark (Part II)

As soon as Dura took George into the Bible, he came to the huge wooden building. George was afraid that Dura would be hungry, so he stuffed a leaf that he had secretly hidden into her mouth.

This time in the Bible, they met the abominable leopard cat again, and he was waiting for them on the beach where the ark was docked, and the leopard cat snatched the branch in George's hand without saying a word. Then he went around the back of the ark and was gone.

"Last time, he snatched my branch!" cried out George, in frustration.

"How do I feel like I've seen him somewhere?" said Dura, slowly. "And that wooden building, so big, what is it?"

From afar, Dula saw an old man who could not be older sitting on a tree stump in front of the ark, holding a wooden comb in his hand, combing his beard, which could not grow any longer.

"Oh my God, this beard must be longer than the coastline behind us!" Dura exclaimed.

Her cry aroused George's curiosity, and he lifted his little head from the pigeon's back a little bit, and poked his head out to look that way. He was amazed by the old man's face, his face covered with layers of wrinkles and age spots as many as the stars.

His beard was thick and thick, and like his hair, it was white.

The old man also saw the lovely pigeon, so he put down his comb and stretched out a hand to beckon Dura.

"Would you like to go over?" asked Dura in a whispered to George.

"He doesn't look like a bad guy, so I shouldn't have a problem saying hello to him in the past!"

"If he wants to catch me, I'll fly away with you immediately!"

"Just do it, if you use all your strength to fly, he will definitely not be able to catch up!"

Dura "cooed" and stepped forward. The old man stretched out his old palm and stroked her little head very lovingly: "I saw you washed up on the beach by the waves early in the morning, and I wanted a few little grandchildren to take care of you, but they were so happy with the leopard cat that they didn't want to pay much attention to you!

"Oh my God, you're our savior!" said Dura, looking a little excited.

The old man's eyes widened suddenly, and he stared at the pigeon in amazement: "You—how can you speak?"

"I could have spoken!" Dura asked, puzzled, "but you, how can you understand what I'm saying?"

"It's the leaf," reminded George whispered on her back, "the leaf you eat! it's close to God, so it has the power to make you speak!"

"Oh, by the way, old man, did you see the branch that was in the leopard cat's hand, it was covered with small dew-stained leaves, and I only ate that leaf before I spoke!"

"The first time I saw the cat, I thought it was so unusual," said the old man thoughtfully, "that you have the skin of a leopard, and by looking at his eyes, it is not difficult to see that he can read the mind of man, so he can easily take advantage of whomever he wants! Sure enough, he put the branch on his head, and proved that he was both greedy and domineering, and alas, I had been hesitating to take him on the boat, and now it seems that I can make up my mind!"

These words confuse Dura, "I don't understand what you're talking about, old man!"

"Oh, it's not strange!" said the old man with a smile, "just like when I see a talking pigeon like you, I don't jump up in surprise or faint in fright, do you know why?"

"Because you've lived so long, and you've seen so many rare things—I really want to ask you how old you are!"

"Hehe, you're half right, I've lived for five hundred years, and I can't tell enough about the rare things I've seen, so I'm not surprised by anything!

"It's a very big house, I've seen it before, and my masters live in it. ”

"House, hahaha, you actually said this is a house!"

"Isn't it? You see there's a window and a door, it's not a house, and what?"

"There are so many things in this world that have both windows and doors, and you see my old face, which has two windows and a door, but can you call it a house?"

"That's the eyes and the mouth, I know!

"You're so cute, no wonder God is so fond of you!"

"God loves all things in the world, and I knew this truth when I was born!"

"So, he gave us eyes like windows to see all things in the world, and a mouth like a door to taste all things in the world!

"God is the most selfless, so we should love Him unreservedly as He loves us. ”

"Oh, this is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard in my life, thank the Lord for letting such a dove open his mouth and speak, otherwise I would have heard only the words that made me desperate!"

"People don't just say things that are desperate, they do things that are even more desperate!"

"Yes, in the end, even God despaired of us, so he made up his mind to destroy the scum among us!"

"How does he want to destroy?"

"He actually wanted to cleanse the world and get rid of all the filth, so he chose water to fulfill his wishes!"

"Then the little mouse and I have been washed with water, and we should be clean in God's eyes!"

"So, I'm going to welcome you into my ark!"

"The Ark? That's a nice name! Where is it?"

"Right in front of your eyes!" said the old man, pointing to the wooden structure behind him, "and I am not shocked to see such a talking dove as you, because I have seen God apparitions and perform miracles before me!

"Oh my God, how many creatures can fit in such a big ark!"

"Soon you'll see! Oh, that little mouse on your back is so funny, he thinks he hides himself under your wings and I won't see him!"

"He thinks he's too fat, so he's embarrassed to meet people!"

"Then I have grown so virtuous, shouldn't I be even more unseen?" said the old man, and stood up, "Come, I will take you into the ark now, and if you see which room is still agreeable, I will designate it as your dwelling! But first you must make your mouse friend promise that he will not dig a hole in my ark, or else if the ark leaks into the water, the creatures of this world will be extinct!"
