Chapter 3 The Castle
The summoner turned and picked up his companions and walked up the huge staircase upstairs, and I looked at their backs, and somehow suddenly didn't want to follow them. Pen, fun, and www.biquge.info
That's when I had the heart to look around.
Beneath our feet was a bright red carpet that stretched from where we had entered to the top of the stairs, and above our heads was a transparent mass glowing bright yellow, and the walls around us were glowing with this transparent thing, only much smaller than the one overhead. Further up, there were so many human-like creatures and stars on the zenith, and they had remained motionless for a long time, at least when I stared at them.
The smell of this place was very similar to the world I was born into, so I walked around idly as I did in the realm of the dead, and I walked into the hallway behind the stairs.
The corridor was dim, and on the walls were flat heads and half-bodies in wooden boxes, also motionless.
When I looked at one of them, I felt a wave of soul emanating from it and being received by me, so the whole process of a baby's birth, growth, learning, marriage, childbirth, old age, and death came to my mind.
Sure enough, the soul language is better, and I easily understand the entire human life process. I looked at the name under the wooden frame -- one hundred and thirty-two grandsons
Quiet Sandru. Presumably this is the title of a human being?
I was very interested, and as I looked down one by one, most of the flat half-frames lived in this castle and had never been out. Before the thirtieth grandson, most of them wandered around outside, leaving the seeds of life everywhere, and then choosing the best one to take with them, the twenty-seventh grandson began to build this ancient castle, and the thirty-first grandson officially completed it.
It took nearly 400 years for mankind to build such a stone fortress, and it doesn't seem to be that remarkable.
The first to fifth grandsons did not leave any soul information, and the original Sandru did not even have a flat half, only a wooden frame and the name Sandru. I thought that there were still a few before the one hundred and thirty-second grandson, so I turned back and tasted them carefully.
Then I felt the summoner approaching me, and I had been too involved to notice.
I stood here waiting for him to come, and when he saw me, he sent me a soul message saying, "Lord Undead, are you looking at the glorious history of our Sandru family? ”
It turned out to be called history, so I nodded, and then asked him, "Why don't these flat half-bodies and the humans on the roofs outside move?" ”
The summoner was stunned for a moment, then burst out laughing.
I felt a sudden sense of relaxation and pleasure in his soul, and then he told me that this was called a head and a mural, and that it was painted by humans with paint. I didn't believe it, and the summoner motioned for me to come with him.
We walked into a room on the second floor, where I didn't know what it was except for the table and chairs, and after a long hectic time, the summoner made me stand in one place, and he sat in the chair and looked up at me from time to time, and then did something on the baffle in front of him.
I sent him a soul message, but he didn't tell me what to do, only that it would be fine immediately, and I didn't feel hostility or danger, so I stood for a long time.
The summoner motioned for me to come over, and I saw a flat skeleton with four arms, four legs, and three long knives on the baffle in front of him, short and fat, without the slightest sense of fluidity.
It said that it would not dare to recognize it if it was a child of the wind, and I thought, "It's ugly, it's definitely not me."
Then the summoner told me, "This is what you drew it," and I looked at myself, at the stocky skeleton on the baffle, with a white mass in its black eye sockets, and what could be called a flame.
"I'm definitely not that ugly," I said to the summoner. Then the summoner's face suddenly turned red, and I felt the shyness in his soul.
I pointed to my own eye sockets, and then to the eyes of the skeleton in the portrait, and asked if the summoner was the same, to which he replied in the affirmative.
Then I didn't speak again. The summoner seemed to see my confusion and told me to go with him. We walked over to a large piece of flat yellow metal next to it, and I saw another summoner and another four-armed skeleton, and I made a defensive stance, and the other skeleton made a defensive stance.
The summoner told me that this metal was called a mirror, and that it was me and him, and that I would do whatever I did, and I tried it, and sure enough, I let my guard down and looked at myself.
The soul flame in the eye socket was indeed white, different from the green color of the other skeletons, and also different from the red color of Skeletron.
I stared at my soul flame, feeling myself slowly entering a void space, I wanted to open my soul perception, only to find that it was filled with all my soul energy, a familiar feeling, this feeling finally reminded me that this was my soul sea, in my skull, I often saw and felt from the outside, but never came in.
It's not actually nothing, there is a huge white sphere in front of it, and when I wonder, the soul energy around me tells me that it is another kind of soul energy.
I touched it, and this fluctuation was familiar to me, a consciousness that had been silent for a long time. I am very happy.
I tried to message my consciousness and he didn't respond to me, I don't know why. It hasn't said anything since I came to the human world and it told me what a human being is.
A message floated over, I knew it was the summoner's soul message, he asked me if there was anything wrong, I replied that it was okay, he said he was tired and it was time to sleep, I remembered that humans are really low-level enough, they need to eat, drink and sleep to live, so I let him go back to sleep.
I felt the summoner's soul drift away, and I refocused my attention on my soul sea, where there were very few things, a piece of information about the sword and shield skills of the skeleton soldiers that the silver skeleton had passed on to me, and something that the consciousness passed on by the Skeletron that I didn't understand, and the rest were the memories I had experienced since I was born, and the incomplete history of the Sandru family that I had seen not long ago.
Anyway, there was nothing to do, so I wanted to see what kind of message Skeletron had sent from me.
When the Soul Sea brought the whole message to me, the white consciousness suddenly retreated a long way, and I tried to bring Skeletron's message close to it, and it kept retreating.
After playing for a while, I felt bored, so I tried to ask the soul sea to parse the message sent by Skeletron, and the soul sea told me that there was another high-level soul power in it, and once it was resolved, the soul power in it would affect or even encroach on my soul sea. So I gave up on this attempt at parsing, because this was the reason why consciousness prevented me in the first place.
There was another element in the sea of souls that was about to become homogenized with me, and it took me a long time to feel it, and that was the soul of the summoner.
I followed this soul feeling, slowly extending outward from my soul sea, and I walked into another soul sea, which was the summoner's soul sea.
There were so many more things in it than mine, and I was about to take a closer look at them, when suddenly I felt that something was binding on my body.
I hurriedly exited the Sea of Souls to take over my body again, and only then did I be bound by two arms, their owners being my summoners.
I didn't feel the summoner's soul and body approaching, so how did he get close to me?
I was about to wake him up and ask him to make it clear, when he opened his mouth and said a few words in a daze, and then a message came from his soul: "Mom, I miss you so much!" ”。
His soul is silent, which means that he is asleep, and even then can you still make movements and speak? Human, how did you do it! I'm confused. I didn't know what he meant, but I felt a strong attachment in his soul, and for some reason I chose to relax my body and just let him tie me up until dawn.
When it was dawn, the summoner opened his eyes, then suddenly screamed at me, released his arms that bound me, jumped back two steps and sat on the ground.
I looked at him, he was touching his body everywhere, and he was relieved to see that his clothes were not loose, and then the summoner's companions rushed over shouting something, and then they looked at me from time to time to have an exchange, and then the summoner said to me, "Lord Undead, I'm sorry for the trouble I caused you." And they left.
It's pronounced like this, but I don't understand what this human language means.
After a while, I gradually became acquainted with the castle, where there was a place to store and grow plant-based food for human consumption, a place to store and breed the animals and meat they ate, a place for recreation and learning, and a lot of human books, but I didn't know the human language, so I couldn't read it.
The summoner seemed to be having a good time here, sometimes even running around with my hand bones, showing me a lot of things I hadn't seen before, showing me him doing an act called cooking in humans, and then telling me that it's a pity you're a skeleton, or I'll give you a taste of my craft, and I didn't tell him I'm glad I'm a skeleton, and it's so low to eat and sleep to stay alive.
Actually, I also tried to invade the summoner's soul sea again to check the information, but every time I did this, he would come and tie my arms around me without me noticing, and I gave up after trying too much.
But I still prefer to see his slightly distorted expression and the entanglement of his soul when he is found by his fellow summoners in this situation.
There's also a place in this castle where neither of them would let me go through, the basement.
I didn't know what was inside, but I could feel the energy in it almost the same as in my soul, and I asked the summoner what was in it, and the summoner told me that he didn't know very well, but his grandfather told him that it was the place where the ancestors had experimented.
"What is grandpa, is it powerful?" I asked the summoner, and the summoner smiled and told me that grandpa was daddy's father, and I asked him what dad was, and he said he couldn't tell.
Actually, I tried to go into the basement, but every time I was about to enter the door, I was blocked by a power that was essentially the same as my soul power, and after a few attempts I gave up.
In this castle, I don't feel like I'm losing my strength as I am outside, so I won't become weak even if I don't absorb the power that attracts me from my human body. I think it has something to do with this power that is the same essence as me.
