Chapter 83: Wuchuan Town (Happy New Year)

"I don't know Madame...... What else do you want to ask the slave?" Gao Rong put her posture lower, trying not to arouse Wang Xuanqing's doubts.

"I've always been curious about you...... Have you ever studied intratrial surgery?" Wang Xuanqing's eyes flowed.

"Madame is joking, the slave is just a subordinate, how can she understand these things. Gao Rong said respectfully.

"That'...... Did you feel anything unusual about him during your time of serving him?"

"No, son, he, you can practice seriously every day. Gao Rong gave a vague message, some of which were true and some were false, anyway, he said so, as for the specific details, let Wang Xuanqing think about it himself......

Sure enough, Wang Xuanqing showed a tangled expression when he heard this, his little hands twisted the corners of his clothes with a little uneasiness, and then asked: "Okay, then please bring this to him, this is the classic I copied recently, I hope to give him a little help." Wang Xuanqing said and found a large roll of bamboo slips, handed it to Gao Rong, and gave her dozens of copper coins by the way, which was her errand fee.

"Ma'am, that's not quite right. Gao Rong was polite at this time and pushed the copper coin back.

"If you take it, you will take it, and you will listen to what I have to say next...... If your husband attracts bees and butterflies outside in the future, you tell me, I will call the shots for you, as long as you do well, you will definitely not lose your benefits in the future. Wang Xuanqing took out the momentum of the superior at this time, and there was a bit of non-refusal in his tone.

"This ...... Well, the slave reluctantly accepted it, and I don't know what the lady wants to hear......"

At this moment, in the area on the east bank of Luoshui, Wang Meng was attending the meeting in Dongshan Market Town instead of Shan Ying, he took out the manuscript prepared in advance, and spoke an easy-to-understand vernacular impassionedly.

In fact, the common people did not understand very well, but they understood several points: first, this market town, which was built by their families, was now a place for them to maintain order together, and they could do business freely in this simple market town without being interfered with and oppressed by others.

Second, the Ling Mansion would not only protect all of them in this market town, but would also provide them with the right to open the night market, so that they could also make money at night by selling the supper they had learned to make, and this small amount of money would not be counted in the harvest they needed to hand in, but would go into their own pockets.

Third, the Luoyi School Palace brought a lot of pressure to the Ling Mansion, which had to make them give up part of their interests to the Luoyi School Palace, hoping that everyone could understand.

In the end, this market town will be gradually improved, and the Ling government will do its best to make this market town better and bigger, and strive to make every household involved in the construction of the market town enjoy preferential treatment.

"From today on, this market town that belongs to all of us will be your new home in the future, and its name is Wuchuan Town!" As Wang Meng's last sentence fell, a fierce shout suddenly sounded from the audience.

"Wuchuan Town! Wuchuan Town!"

The reason for this name was actually Ling Hao's temporary idea. Zero Long Literature Network

Historically, Wuchuan Town (now west of Wuchuan County, Inner Mongolia) was one of the six military towns in Chinese history that defended Rouran during the Northern Dynasties. Originally known as Heicheng, it was later changed to Wuchuan. In the first year of Wutai (528), the abandoned town was changed to a county, named Shenwu County, which belonged to Shuozhou. Wuchuan Town was an important place to guard the border at that time, gathering a large number of generals and troops, and many people from the military background of Wuchuan Town became important figures after the Six Towns Rebellion. For example, Yu Wentai, the founder of the Northern Zhou Dynasty, was the leader of the Wuchuan Huan team, and Yang Zhong (a historical figure), the father of Emperor Wen of Sui, Yang Jian (a historical figure), and his father and ancestors were also soldiers of Wuchuan. The ancestors of the Li clan in the Tang Dynasty are also believed to have been born in the Wuchuan town military.

Many of the 12 generals of the Northern Dynasty's famous Eight Pillars were born in Wuchuan Town.

For example, the general of the Zhu State Yu Wentai (Li Shimin's maternal great-grandfather, a native of Wuchuan Town).

Li Hu, the general of the Zhu State (Li Yuan's grandfather, a native of Wuchuan Town).

Dugu Xin, the general of the Zhu State (the maternal grandfather of Yang Guang and Li Yuan, a native of Wuchuan Town).

Zhao Gui, the general of the Zhu State (from Wuchuan Town).

Zhu Guo General Hou Mo Chen Chong (from Wuchuan Town).

General Hou Mo Chen Shun (from Wuchuan Town).

General Yuwendao (nephew of Yuwentai, a native of Wuchuan Town).

General He Lanxiang (nephew of Yuwentai, from Wuchuan Town).

General Yang Zhong (Yang Jian's father, from Wuchuan Town) and other people, so there is a saying in later generations called "Northern Zhou Sui and Tang are one family".

At the beginning of the Tianxing Dynasty of the Northern Wei Dynasty (398 AD), Emperor Daowu Tuoba Gui moved 2,000 of his Gaomen disciples and heroes from the eastern region directly to the north to live in order to guard the border fortress and resist the nomadic forces in the north.

Yuwenling "migrated to Wuchuan with the routine" (recorded in volume 9 of the Northern History), which is the earliest record of "Wuchuan". The Northern Wei Dynasty set up "six towns", and Wuchuan was one of them. The Book of Sui contains Yang Yuanshou, the fifth ancestor of Emperor Wen of Sui Emperor Yang Jian, "Sima of Wuchuan Town at the beginning of Wei". The Book of the Old Tang Dynasty records that Li Xi, the fourth ancestor of Tang Dynasty Gaozu Li Yuan, "led the heroes, the town of Wuchuan, and was because of his family"; the Book of the New Tang Dynasty recorded that he was "in Wuchuan, because he stayed at home". In the sixth year of Zhengguang of the Northern Wei Dynasty (525 AD), the rebel army of the Balling of the Sixth Han Dynasty occupied Wuchuan Town. Later, the Rouran tribe accepted the request of the Northern Wei court and sent troops to attack the rebel army, and the leader Anagui "received an edict to take 100,000 from the west of Wuchuan Town to Woye Town" (Wei Shu Worm Liebiography, p. 2302). In the later period of the Northern Dynasties, Wuchuan successively belonged to the Eastern Wei Dynasty and the Northern Zhou Dynasty. The five emperors of the Northern Zhou Dynasty, including Emperor Xiaomin Yuwenjue, Emperor Shizong Ming Yuwenyu, Emperor Gaozu Wu Yuwenyong, Emperor Xuan Yuwenyun and Emperor Jing Yuwenyan (Shen), as well as many ministers, were all from Wuchuan. In the third year of Baoding (563 AD), Yang Zhong, the Duke of Sui, "went out of Wuchuan, passed the old house, sacrificed to the ancestors, and swept more than 20 cities" (recorded in volume 11 of the Northern History).

Ling Hao felt that this market town could not just be a small market town doing business and engaging in trade, it should be used as one of the capitals that Ling Hao could start with in the future.

Therefore, the name of Wuchuan Town is also in the hope that it will be able to turn into a force loyal to him in the future, so as to prepare for whether he can capture Luoyi in the future.

Ling Hao's original intention in building this market town was not just to take root in Luoyi, but more importantly, he needed an eyeliner to help him monitor Luoyi's movements in real time......

It should exist as a military town buried around Luoyi, not just as a small market town for business.
