Info divides Buddhas and sentient beings into ten categories, or ten worlds, of which four are "sages." The four holy beings of the four saints transcend the three worlds of desire, lust, and colorlessness, and are the four "holy beings" who have been liberated from the cycle of birth and death. 1. The abbreviation of Buddha Buddha means the enlightened one, which has three meanings: self-consciousness (oneself has attained enlightenment), enlightenment (can make others enlightened), and enlightenment and consummation (one's own enlightenment has reached the ultimate perfection). Those with these three enlightenment names are Buddhas; Such as Shakyamuni Sutra Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, etc. Buddhism regards the Buddha as the highest of the four sages, and it is said that he has a clear understanding of all things in the universe. "Maha Prajna Sutra: Tao Xingpin" says: "Attaining the true meaning is called the Buddha", "Knowing all the Dharma truthfully is called the Buddha". Studying Buddhism and becoming a Buddha is the highest goal that Buddhists want to achieve. The Buddha contains "judgment", "proof", "merit", "four bodies", and "five wisdoms". "Breaking" refers to the state of nirvana that cuts off all disturbing obstacles and obstacles to knowledge. "Proof" refers to the realization of the two truths and the physical nature and appearance of all things. "Merit" refers to the immeasurable merit of body, mouth, and mind that has been attained by the judgment. The "four bodies" refer to the Dharma body, the retribution body, the corresponding body, and the incarnation. The "five wisdoms" refer to the wisdom of the great round mirror, the wisdom of equality, the wisdom of wonderful observation, the wisdom of what is done, and the wisdom of the body of the Dharma realm. "Supreme" means beyond all saints and incomparable. The Buddha's practice process is very cumbersome, and the practitioner must understand the "Four Noble Truths", achieve the "Ten Virtuous Karmic Paths", form the "Twelve Causes", and go through the six degrees and six paramitas to become a Buddha with great compassion. 2. The abbreviation of Bodhisattva Bodhisattva Bodhisattva means "feeling sentient beings" or "sentient beings with great paths". That is, the sentient nature of enlightenment has two meanings: self-consciousness and self-awareness, but it lacks "enlightenment and perfection". Therefore, it is inferior to the Buddha. The second volume of Nagarjuna's "Treatise on the Ten Dwellings of Vibhasha" says: "The Bodhisattva nominates the upper path, and the name of the Buddha is deep, and the name of the Buddha is deep, and the name is Bodhi Satsa." "In addition to ordinary bodhisattvas, there are also people like Guanyin, Jizo, Manjushri, and Fugen."
Great Bodhisattva", Sanskrit is mahasattva, Chinese transliteration is Mahasa, also translated as "Dashi, saint, Kaishi" and other names. The different names of the bodhisattvas cited in the Buddhist scriptures are: Kaishi, Dashi, Venerable, Sage, Superman, Supreme, Comfortable, Yongjian, Dao Mind Becomes Sentient Being, Body Karma Without Aphasia, Karma Without Frustration, Karma Without Loss, Body Karma Pure, Speech Karma Pure, Mind Karma Pure, Body Karma Without Motion, Speech Karma Without Movement, Mind Karma Without Movement, etc. Buddhas and bodhisattvas are both Mahayana sages. 3. The translation of the Buddha of Yuanjue Bizhijia is also known as "Dujue" or "Bizhi Buddha". According to Buddhism, it is more common in the world where there are no Buddhas. Because the root nature is more favorable, he can realize the Tao by observing the current situation by himself, so he is called Yuanjue. And because he does not wait for the guidance of his teachers and friends, he naturally realizes the Tao, also known as "solitary enlightenment". Volume 18 of the "Treatise on Great Wisdom" says: "There are two kinds of Buddhas, one is solitary enlightenment and the other is karmic enlightenment. "In the Three Vehicles, he is a Sage in the Middle Vehicle. The twelve causes, also known as the twelve branches, are all in the world, and the branches are the literary points, which means that all the life and death flows, and none of them come out of these twelve branches. The first ignorance is the meaning of doubt, which is a general term for troubles, and because it belongs to the mind of the mind, it is also called confusion. The second line is to create righteousness, according to doubtful thoughts, and there is artificiality, because it belongs to the behavior of the body and mouth, so it is also a famous karma. These two branches are the two causes of past lives. Because the past is ripe, it is the five fruits of the present life: the third consciousness, which is the knowledge of reincarnation in this life, whether it is ascending to heaven or going to hell, or even the belly of a donkey and a horse, all of which are preceded by this thought. The fourth name color, the name refers to the heart, which is said to be famous but has no quality, and the color refers to the quality, which belongs to the color method, at this time the six roots have not yet been formed, but there is a famous color. The fifth and sixth entry is the time when the six roots are gradually completed and will be born. The sixth touch is after the fetus is in contact with the environment. The seventh is the lifelong root of the dust, and the bitter and happy encounters received. From the encounters of this world, the three causes are replanted. The eighth love is to give rise to all kinds of love in the environment. The ninth take, because of love, arises the idea of grasping. The tenth being, since it is taken by love, and all karma arises, there will be the fruit that should come, hence the name of being. Of these three causes, love is the same as ignorance, and there is the same as action. From the present to the present life, the two fruits of the future life are reborn: the eleventh life, which is the future birth, and the twelfth old death, which is born and of course must die of old age. There are 12 of the above, including all the causes and effects of the three lifetimes, the creation of karma, the birth, and the cycle of infinity. 4. Shravaka means an enlightened person who has heard the Buddha's teachings. The Lotus Sutra says: "With the voice of the Buddha, let everything be heard." "Shravaka can generally be divided into four levels, namely Sudra Huanguo, Situ Hanguo, Ana Hanguo and Arhat Fruit, commonly known as the Four Fruit Sages, with Arhat as the highest. In the Three Vehicles, he is a Hinayana sage. The Four Fruits of Sound and Hearing - Sudra Huanguo. [Out of the Vajra Sutra] a Sudra Huanguo Sanskrit Sudra Huan. Chinese words into the stream. The Four Noble Truths, also known as the Four Noble Truths. Truth means truth or reality. The Four Noble Truths are the Truth of Suffering, the Truth of Concentration, the Truth of Extinction, and the Truth of the Path. The Four Noble Truths are the four truths of life that Shakyamuni realized, namely, suffering, concentration, extinction, and path, and the Four Truths tell people that the essence of life is suffering, as well as the causes of suffering, the way to eliminate suffering, and the ultimate goal of achieving nirvana. The Four Noble Truths were said by the Buddha when he first turned the wheel of Dharma, and when he was about to attain Nirvana, he repeatedly told his disciples that if they had any questions about the Four Noble Truths, they could ask questions. It can be seen that in the teachings of the Buddha's generation, the exposition of the Four Noble Truths was carried out from beginning to end. Especially in the first turn of the Dharma wheel, the Buddha spoke three times about the meaning of the Four Noble Truths, which is called the Three Turns and the Twelve Elements: the first time is to show the transformation of the four noble truths, and the content of the Four Noble Truths is explained so that the disciples can understand that the content is suffering and persecution; This is the set, the sensibility of the move; This is extinction, verifiability; This is the way, cultivability; The second time is to persuade the disciples to practice the Four Noble Truths in order to get rid of their afflictions and gain liberation. This is the set, and you should be broken; This is destruction, thou shalt testify; This is the way, and you should cultivate it; The third time is self-realization, the Buddha told his disciples that he had attained the Four Noble Truths, and encouraged his disciples to realize the Four Noble Truths as long as they are brave and diligent. This is the set, and I have broken; This is destruction, and I have testified; This is the way, and I have cultivated it.
