Chapter 70: Mindfulness, Karma, Prajna, and Wish 1

Mental power is a kind of magic (special function), which refers to the common concentration of the body, language, and consciousness, and the power formed by the formation of the power, when the mindfulness of the body, mouth, and mind is concentrated and mature, it can exert a powerful transformation signal and power.

Originally derived from the term yin-yang, the ancients believed that a person's abilities were like different rooms in a palace, and one of the doors would open when it was necessary to exert any ability.

It's a lot like Matteo Ricci's Memory Palace.

The difference is that in addition to memory, there are many other abilities.

The ancients believed that people born at different times had different yang energy, and the five elements of people would appear strange, so everyone could open the door of ability differently, so the ancients paid attention to the eight characters of birth.

Some people have a lot of yang energy to open the door, it seems to be talented and intelligent, and some people can open their business to prosper in wealth, and they can improve their yang energy by using Luoxia Jing to make the eightfold ice plum seal according to the eight characters of the birthday.

After the eighteenth century, with the progress of science, the mysterious effects that science could not explain were called superstitions, and the ability of ESP declined.

Nowadays, there is an ESP course in the United States that is specially designed to train managers, and this course is mainly used to cultivate telepathic mental powers such as clairvoyance and foresight.

Karmic karma refers to the collection of results caused by an individual's past, present, or future actions, and the results of karma will govern present and future experiences, and an individual's life experience and the experiences of others are influenced by one's own actions.

Individuals have the possibility and responsibility to take responsibility for their own lives.

Karma is also the cause that governs samsara, so karma is not only the result of this life, but also extends endlessly into future lives.

Karma, in Sanskrit, is called karma.

The root of karma (or karman) is kar, which means to do or to do.

So the "karma" of karma

It means a job or an act.

But "karma" in the minds of Buddhists today

, but it represents an extremely complex multifaceted thought.

The most fundamental of these polygonal thoughts is to say, "The karmic one, the law of cause and effect that governs all natural and moral phenomena." ”

Karma is an action, and any action naturally produces a force that forces people to do something new, and this new action creates a new force...... In this way, actions generate power, and power generates behaviors, and a circular karmic driving circle is formed.

Karma is the driving force that drives, creates, and destroys all sentient beings and their worlds.

But what is the cause of this motivation?

The Buddhist answer is, "It is caused by ignorance and the innate desire to act."

Ignorance, Sanskrit is avidya, which means ignorance, stupidity.

"Row"

It's sanskara, it's an impulse, an instinctive urge to act.

In a modern idiom, "ignorance and action"

It is an innate blind desire to move, or a blind impulsive desire hidden deep in the subconscious; This is the one who is known in the Four Noble Truths of Buddhism.

However, for the sake of ease of understanding, it may be clearer to quote Schopenhauer's explanation of this question.

He said that the driving force that drives the world is the innate desire hidden in the human subconscious.

There are two main reasons for this fundamental desire: one is the desire to survive and the other is the desire to move, which is the true self.

In The World as Will and Appearance, Schopenhauer says: "In the depths of consciousness I see the true self of the real grassroots...... It is a primordial, time-space, and uncaused, active force. This activity is an instinctive impulse and craving,...... This innate desire is who I really am. The ** of people is just a sign of this innate desire. …… This desire is expressed in blind motion, i.e. the formation of (inanimate) stones or metals; It is manifested in volitional activity, that is, the conscious activity of the mind that forms the consciousness of human beings. In short, the cause of karma is formed by the instinctive desire to survive and to act in the subconscious mind of sentient beings, which is encouraged by the innate blind will. Karma is, in the simplest terms: "Good is rewarded with good, evil is rewarded with evil, it is not that it is not repaid, the hour has not yet come". In agricultural harvest terms, karma can be explained as: if you sow good seeds, you will have a good harvest, and if you sow bad seeds, you will get a bad harvest. In scientific parlance: karma is the law of cause and effect, and every cause has an effect. It can also be called the law of moral causality, which should be in the realm of morality, just as the law of motion in the realm of physics. The explanation of karma in the Dharma Sutra is that the mind is the master of good and bad karma, and if your words and actions are based on good or evil intentions, then pleasure or pain (unhappiness) will follow you, like an ox cart following the hooves of an ox, and will never leave. Karma is a kind of action, there is a dynamic force in the living being, called instinctive inclination or consciousness and so on, and this inherent habit drives every consciousness, including the mental and physical, and this action becomes an action, and the repetition of this behavior is a habit, and this habit becomes his personality, and in Buddhism, this process is called karma. In the ultimate sense of "karma", it can be both good and evil, and it can be a mental activity or a volitional action. The Buddha said, "Karma is willpower." In this way, karma is a process and not an entity, and it is also an action, a power, and a force. Some people interpret this power as "behavioral influence", which is self-inflicted. The suffering and happiness that man experiences are the result of his own body, mouth, and mind. Success, failure, happiness, and sorrow are all the result of our body, mouth, and mind. Looking at the above points, it is clear that: (1) From a cosmological point of view, karma represents a tremendous and incomparable force capable of creating, moving, and destroying individuals, and the entire universe. (2) From the point of view of moral philosophy, karma is an infallible and infallible natural moral law that governs and enforces karma in moral behavior. (3) From a metaphysical point of view, the way of karma follows the basic principle of homogeneity, but it is ultimately beyond the conscivation of human reason, it is one of the great mysteries of the universe. For example, karma is a kind of power. The three karmic activities of people's "body, mouth, and mind" cause behavior, and any behavior will naturally produce a kind of force, which in turn forces people to do new actions, and this new behavior produces new forces...... In this way, actions produce power, and power produces behaviors, and they form a spiral circle of karma. Not only does the act produce power, but it also produces an oppressive and binding force that compels one to accept the consequences or binding force of the act. The karma done by each person produces a kind of power, and the karma of millions of people produces the power of millions of people; When trillions of hearts are gathered, they become a huge and boundless force, which is "common karma", and the karma done by individuals is called "other karma". Collective karma refers to the aggregate flow of karma generated by the collective actions of many sentient beings, such as the current global warming, which is a typical collective karma of sentient beings. 2. Karma implies the inevitability of fate. Man is dependent on social and natural conditions for his existence, is bound by natural and social conditions, and cannot be free, and in this respect, he cannot control his own destiny. But man can transform and create natural and social conditions, master the laws, and develop himself, and in this respect, he can control his own destiny. In both respects, the law of inevitability that governs people's destiny is karma. So karma is not fatalistic, it's not predestined, because karma is man-made, and what or situations that it creates by itself are both binding and variable. In the phenomena of humanities and life, there are two factors, fixed and uncertain, that is, "fixed karma" and "indefinite karma". 3. Karma is a relationship. Human, nature, and society form their own different circles of relationship. For example, one of the anthropospheres requires sunlight and water, and this biosphere is the Extreme Co-Prosperity Sphere. Human beings have the ability to use language and use tools, and they are not in communion with other living beings, and this human collective circle is the great collective karma. People are restricted by the constraints of the country and nationality to which they belong, and the situation is different between countries and nationalities, which is the common karma circle of the country and the nation, such as the different institutions, schools and associations that form their own common karma circles. Families form a family circle of common karma, and for example, the relationship between husband and wife forms a circle of extreme non-common karma. The individual world, the self, is the most uncommon circle. The above circles, one circle is larger than the other, each circle is more complex than the other, the smallest circle, generally speaking, such as an individual, is easier to change, the larger the circle, the more difficult it is to change. Human consciousness, i.e., subjective initiative, can transform the environment and karma, and human beings have freedom of will. However, people are constrained by many circle conditions, and they have great limitations. 4. Karma is the just natural law of morality. Karma follows the principle of like-mindedness, and if it is the cause and effect, if it is so, it will be like this. In the natural world, sow melons and get melons, plant beans and get beans, and in the moral world, good is rewarded for good, and evil is rewarded for evil. Those who play with fire** will kill themselves if they do many injustices. Most of the reasons for the fact that there is a lack of correspondingness are due to the fact that the time is not yet ripe and the conditions are not yet met, but the principle of correspondingness will not change, and this principle is karma.
