Chapter 181: Shooting Techniques
"Whether we are filming a conference or a shooting event, we have to habitually bring a tripod, whether it is a meeting or a celebration, it generally takes a long time, and most of them require the whole process to be recorded, so it is best to put on a tripod for shooting, and we must have enough DV tape and batteries for the camera. Pen × fun × Pavilion www. biquge。 infoIf the customer has other requirements, it is better to have a spare machine, otherwise some important scenarios may be missed. ”
"If you're not confident in your adaptability, you have to be as prepared as possible for shooting. Ask the organizer for a flow chart before the meeting or celebration begins. To understand the whole process of shooting, prepare in advance, and you should be waiting in the best camera before each procedure of the meeting or event begins, so that you will not be in a hurry and do not know what to shoot. ”
"When shooting people on stage, it's best to shoot from the front, so that you can clearly see the full front of the subject. When shooting, the subject should be in the center of the frame, and the picture is shown through the eyes, expressions, and postures of the person being photographed.
If it is a single-camera shooting, for important leaders or guest speakers, the whole body should be used to cooperate with the half-body close-up, and the elbow or waist of the arm holding the microphone should be used as the interception point to capture the picture. In addition to this, pay attention to the subject's posture and gestures, and leave enough space on the side of the speaker to make the gestures. ”
"Of course, you can also slightly adjust the height of the tripod and the degree of the camera looking up according to the face shape and body shape of the character. However, when shooting from above, pay attention to whether the characters on the stage are suitable for this angle shooting method, for example, those plump women, especially those who are very fat or double down, so that the characters will appear more fat. ”
"Before shooting, be sure to adjust the aperture, speed, white balance, etc., and the key is to pay attention to whether the video captured on the monitor is clear and in focus. Otherwise, the filming of an event or meeting will be blurry, which will definitely bring you a lot of trouble. If you forget some camera button functions, the picture shows abnormal colors or other problems, and you don't know how to deal with it for a while, immediately adjust the camera to fully automatic shooting mode, which is the last trick that can't be helped. ”
Liu Fei demonstrated while teaching the two. However, Liu Fei doesn't expect the two of them to reach the point where they can see it and understand it as soon as they learn, all of which require a process.
After seeing some guests coming, Liu Fei came to the sign-in desk with another camera and began to shoot the guests.
Xu Sheng and Jiang Qian were fine, and they also followed Liu Fei's side and watched Liu Fei shoot.
When he saw that both of them were around, Liu Fei said again: "When we were filming guests, we had to shoot a panorama first, then a medium shot, and finally a close-up. But when shooting close-ups, you must pay attention to the appearance of the guests, those who don't look very good, or have ugly faces, we don't shoot close-ups, especially close-ups, don't shoot, even if you accidentally shoot them, you must cut them out when editing and editing in post-production. ”
"Of course, those guests who are handsome or have a good temperament can give them a few more shots, especially those beautiful female guests must take more shots, which will bring some highlights to the event or conference."
Xu Sheng, Jiang Qian and Chen Siyu, especially when they heard Liu Fei say that those ugly ones should not be filmed. Hahaha! Laughing, it seems that the camera has to judge people by their appearance, and this camera is almost the same as human thinking.
"When filming the scene where the guests come, we should also shoot some shots when the hostess helps the guests put on flowers, such shots are best based on close-ups, and of course, a few medium shots should be taken as support. When the guests sign in, they also have to shoot medium shots and close-ups. If you feel that you can't shoot it, you can also shoot a medium shot of Wei Jiabing, and then take a close-up of another guest. ”
Liu Fei explained while demonstrating to the two. Both of them listened very carefully, including Chen Siyu.
"Shooting from different angles, the picture can make the audience have psychological hints and convey special psychological emotions. In the vertical angle, it is divided into flat, up, down, top and other angles. a metaphor for a vulnerable or repressed emotional atmosphere; The overhead shot will shrink the image of the character and express derogatory emotions. There are front, back, and side angles for shooting at horizontal angles. Among them, the most conducive to emotional expression are mainly frontal and back shots.
The facial features and facial expressions of the subjects can be seen in frontal shots, which is conducive to the communication between the subject and the audience, creating a sense of intimacy, and at the same time it is easy to show a solemn, stable, serious and quiet atmosphere. Backside shooting makes the things in the background of the subject become the main content of the picture, integrating the subject with the background, so that the audience has a strong sense of participation and is easy to have emotional resonance with the subject of the picture. Different angles must have different emotional expressions, which requires the cameraman to fully understand the thoughts and emotions to be expressed in the promotional film before shooting, so as to show it more intuitively and accurately. ”
Liu Fei doesn't expect the two of them to learn it once they read it, learning things is to move forward slowly, which Liu Fei understands very well. Not once but twice, and the more they explain it, they can always remember some.
After filming the footage of the guests who came to congratulate, Liu Fei also set up his tripod next to the host seat.
Xu Sheng was very puzzled when he saw it, could it be that the two cameras were set up together?
"Brother Fei, how did you set up the camera here?"
"My camera may have to be moved, but it is only temporarily placed here, and when the guests come on stage, I will go over to shoot, and I will also carry it to shoot when the host interacts with me."
"Oh! Did you shoot here at any other time? ”
"Yes, I'm in charge of close-ups and medium shots, maybe some people like to set up the machine at a certain angle to the stage, but I don't like this way of shooting, because there are only two cameras, so the close-up camera is the best for frontal shots. It was set up at an oblique angle, and I didn't feel good when shooting side shots. Of course, three or more cameras can be set up differently. ”
"Brother Fei, is there anything special about playing DV tapes?"
"It's not really a big deal, but I have some experiences that I can share. First, after putting the DV tape in, it is better to reverse the front of the tape mesh for 10 seconds, because I found that the front part of the DV tape is easy to lose magnetism.
Second, don't let the DV tape shoot until the end before changing it to the tape, because the last little tape is also easy to lose magnetism. A MiniDV60 tape is about 61 minutes in total, with 20 seconds removed in the front and 30 seconds removed in the back, so a MiniDV60 tape can shoot for 60 minutes.
Of course, this is shooting in SP mode, and the MiniDV60 tape available on the market can record for 60 minutes in normal mode (SP), and 90 minutes in LP mode. In the same way, if the tape of the MiniDV80 is recorded for 80 minutes in LP mode and 120 minutes in SP mode, it is usually 1.5 times the recording time in SP mode than in LP mode.
Maybe Brother Xu, you don't understand these two modes, SP (standardplay) refers to standard playback, in this recording mode, the tape runs at a standard speed, and the recorded images can reach the standard horizontal definition. LP (longplay) refers to long-term playback, which can record video data for a longer time on a video tape, and it is different from analog cameras and digital video cameras.
The LP recording mode of digital video cameras is not perfect, and it has some shortcomings in post-editing, such as the inability to dub the footage. In addition, the most troublesome point is that the compatibility of the MiniDV tape shot with LP recording method is relatively poor, which means that LP recording images shot with one digital camcorder may not be able to be played back properly on another digital camcorder.
Therefore, when the MiniDV60 tape is sufficient, we try to shoot in SP reference standard mode, unless the MiniDV60 tape is not enough, and then use LP mode to shoot when there is no way. No matter which mode you shoot in, don't reuse ordinary iniDV tapes, because these iniDV tapes are easy to lose magnetism, and once the magnetism is lost, the footage we shoot is flowery and cannot be used at all, or the DV tape does not record the material at all. Got it? ”
"Hmm," Xu Sheng nodded and Jiang Qian nodded.
"In fact, there are several kinds of DV video tapes, such as those big machines used by TV stations are not the same as our small machines, and DV video tapes also have several qualities, such as ordinary video DV tapes, that is, the kind that costs more than 10 pieces a box, and more than 30 pieces a box is slightly better, there are also about 100 ordinary metal tapes, and there is an advanced technology metal tape with a price of several hundred.
The development of high-performance metal tapes enables image signals with a wavelength of 0.49 microns to be stored in a high-density digital recording manner for up to 40 minutes on small cartridges and up to 100 degrees minutes on large cartridges.
In order to ensure that the HDCAM format can stably record and reproduce image signals with a wavelength of only 0.49 microns, some imaging companies have developed a new type of magnetic particle that is half the size of a digital betacam particle. These high-density ultra-fine metal particles, together with the latest tape calendering technology that smooths the surface of the tape, have resulted in a carrier-to-noise ratio of more than 45 dB for the metal tape, far exceeding the range required for digital recording.
