Chapter 233: Donor, Please Come With Me
"Woo, woo, woo. Pen ~ Fun ~ Pavilion www.biquge.info"
"Bang, bang, bang..."
The second gang finally got on the train and went all the way north, but the second gang's current destination is not their hometown Fengyang, Anhui, but Jiuhua Mountain, which is also located in Anhui.
A person who knows that he will not live long can't help but think about his next life, so the second gang now wants to follow the two aunts to ask the Jizo King Bodhisattva to be gracious, so that his next life will suffer like this life.
Coincidentally, the two aunts not only rushed to Jiuhua Mountain to burn incense and make wishes, but also are devout Buddhist believers, after hearing that the second gang also believes in Buddhism, it was a series of praises, which made the second gang feel a little embarrassed, because the second gang itself knows that their belief in Buddhism is too unreligious, otherwise they would not have given birth to this kind of strange problem that is both embarrassing and eye-catching, and the two gangs sometimes think that this may be the Bodhisattva deliberately punishing himself, maybe he expressed pious repentance in the past, I can make these problems better, and sometimes I feel naΓ―ve and ridiculous for my own ridiculous idea, how can a problem that cannot be cured by current medical conditions be said to be good.
Anyway, the current second gang is not in a hurry, they just wander around so aimlessly, and after getting off the train, they didn't follow the two aunts together, because they had a motion sickness problem, so they could only rest while walking, and they could rest while walking.
Jiuhua Mountain, is the first batch of national key scenic spots, a famous summer resort, is now a national 5A-level tourist area, a national civilized scenic tourism area demonstration site, and Shanxi Wutai Mountain, Zhejiang Putuo Mountain, Sichuan Emei Mountain and known as the four famous mountains of Chinese Buddhism, is "hell is not empty vow not to become a Buddha, all living beings to prove Bodhi" of the great wish of the king of Tibetan Bodhisattva dojo.
Jiuhua Mountain was called Lingyang Mountain, Jiuzi Mountain in ancient times, because there are nine peaks resembling lotus flowers, Tang Tianbao changed its name to Jiuhua Mountain during the period. It is one of the three major mountain systems (Yellow Mountain, Jiuhua Mountain, Tianmu Mountain) in southern Anhui. It is located in Qingyang County, Chizhou City, Anhui Province, facing Tianzhu Mountain across the Yangtze River in the northwest, and the Taiping Lake and Huangshan Mountain in the southeast, which is the main entrance and main scenic spot in the north of the golden tourist area of Anhui "Two Mountains and One Lake" (Huangshan, Jiuhua Mountain and Taiping Lake). With a radius of 120 kilometers, a total area of 334 square kilometers, the highest peak is 1342 meters above sea level, and the geographical coordinates of Jiuhua Street in the center are 117 degrees east longitude and 30 degrees north latitude.
The second gang finally stood in front of the gate of Jiuhua Mountain, and looked attentively at the introduction and explanation of Jiuhua Mountain on the tall sign erected.
"Amitabha, Master, I would like to ask, how can I become a monk here?"
It can be said that the introduction and description of Jiuhua Mountain, there is no exaggeration, this Jiuhua Mountain is indeed a unique place in the world, the two gangs are not only fascinated by the beautiful scenery here, but also shocked by the ethereal Zen sound here, so the two gangs don't want to go anywhere now, just want to be able to hide here and repent, listen to the Buddha's voice, until the old man dies for life, this idea has been hovering in the minds of the two gangs for two days, but by chance I saw a person wearing a clean yellow robe coming, The face is clear, the spirit is strong, and he has a small flat head, as if he still has a body of kindness, so the two gangs have the courage to meet them, chant a Buddha name, and then respectfully ask.
"Amitabha." The monk first stood with one palm on his chest, as if in a special standard posture of returning the salute, then glanced at the second gang, and then said, "Donor, please come with me." β
When the two gangs heard this, they couldn't help rejoicing in their hearts, and followed them closely, turned onto a mountain path, and soon came to a pavilion, where two tourists were also sitting and resting, perhaps seeing someone coming, or maybe they had rested, they all got up and left.
"Donor, please be seated."
The second gang obediently sat down on a stone bench next to the stone table in the middle according to the gestures made by the monk, and then the monk also sat opposite the second gang and asked with a smile, "What kind of place is the donor?" β
The two gangs had no choice but to reply in a proper manner: "I am from Fengyang, Anhui Province." β
"Are there parents at home?" the man asked.
"Fortunately, my parents are still alive." The two gangs had no choice but to hurry up and answer.
"But I have a wife and children."
The two gangs couldn't help but feel funny, it turned out that it was not so easy to become a monk, and they had to accept the interrogation of others, so they had to reply with a wry smile: "Alas, there was originally one, but it was abandoned by others." β
"Oh, I see." The man also seemed to smile even more, grabbed one of the hands placed on the stone table by the second gang, opened his palm, observed it carefully, and looked at the faces of the second gang a few more times.
Only then did he let go of the palms of the second gang, and said very casually: "Actually, it is not so easy to become a monk now." β
Seeing that the second gang looked a little puzzled, the man continued; "Ordination is not so simple and demanding.
Have the right view.
Careful!
I solemnly say to you,
1. What is your purpose for becoming a monk? What should be the purpose of a real ordination? Is it explicit?
2. Can I keep the five precepts? For example, fornication?
3. Do you really not have nostalgia for the world, and do you meet the requirements of becoming a monk? Is renunciation enough? Do you have a correct view of the Dharma?
First of all, we must clarify the purpose of ordination, which is the primary condition, otherwise what kind of home? β
Seeing that the two gangs were silent in thought, the man continued: "Those who want to become monks must be of their own volition, have sufficient six roots (including no physical defects), be in good health, believe in Buddhism, be patriotic and law-abiding, have a certain cultural foundation, have the permission of their parents, and have the consent of their families. For those who ask to become a monk, after ascertaining their identity and origin, and finding that they meet the requirements for ordination, the monastery can accept to stay in the monastery, appoint a dependent teacher, confer the three refuges and five precepts, and after passing the inspection of the Sangha for more than one year, they will be formally ordained, and issued to them in accordance with the prescribed methods and procedures.
To take refuge in the Three Jewels, you must be voluntary, patriotic and law-abiding, have good conduct, have a certain foundation of faith, and be introduced by a Buddhist to a refuge teacher before you can accept it.
Accepting a refuge disciple should be done in a solemn manner. The refuge must fill out a form to register his name, resume and introducer, etc., and submit it to the monastery for safekeeping. β
The second gang didn't dare to answer, because the second gang had clearly heard that their own conditions were not enough, at least one of them, their own body was not healthy at all, not to mention that they still had that kind of disease, if it was found out what kind of AIDS it was, they might have to be arrested by the police uncle.
"Actually, there are more requirements for ordination than that, and what I'm talking about is just a drop in the bucket." The monk continued: "True ordination and its motivation: Whoever is at home and believes in the Buddha and practices according to his teachings can achieve the great goal of liberation. Although, to put it simply, the world is based on desire, then in this world, it is very difficult to practice the cultivation of true desirelessness and selflessness.
Therefore, on the surface, it is limited to the fruits of the home, which is the third non-return of fruits, and does not recognize its present dharma nirvana. Therefore, it is the way to advance directly into the great ideal, and to deduce the way to make this reality manifest, that is, to rely on being a monk and a beggar to achieve a life without self and desire. The husband gives up his family, his wealth, and his love, and he is free from the cultivation of self-attachment and self-desire. For example, the thirty-eighth meridian of "Central": 'There are obstacles and dust in home life, but there is open-mindedness and freedom in monastic life. Whoever is at home will find it difficult to concentrate on the practice of Brahmanism, and until the end of his life, it is better for me to shave my hair and wear a robe (bad clothes). From home to homeless, if he gives up little or more wealth, he gives up as many relatives as he wants, shaves his hair and wears robes, and leaves his home without a home. β
This cover Buddha in the force of the world's practice is difficult to complete, often praise the text of the Tao also. The husband's shaving hair is bad and he has no certain place to live, not only as an appearance for becoming a monk, but also as a cause of attachment to the world, which can really renounce and concentrate on the spirit and focus on eternal liberation. Historically, as has been said, this is also due to the system of the third or fourth period of Brahman. However, in the Brahmanical system, you must not leave home until you are old. The Buddha did not care about age, but all those who felt the pain of life had to be ordered to become monks, which was very different from the Brahmin system. The Buddha said that if a person has a certain age, then becoming a monk at an old age has the intention, but it is said that he must be old and will be determined to be in the Tao, so it is for those who are eternally unfaithful, so there is no need to limit it. This Buddhist group has all kinds of monks, young and old, and the result of the Buddha's reward is also based on this reason.
That's why the so-called ordination of the Buddha requires a very great determination. As a matter of principle, those who are not really looking forward to eternal liberation, and who can truly experience the worthlessness of life, will never have such expectations. What's more, when the hair is not dry and the blood is flourishing, it is not easy for the lady to abandon the world. Try to set a precedent for the disciples of the Buddhas, and try not to be true and pure in motives, and the Tao is firm and unstoppable. β
Listening to that person in one breath is like reciting a text, in fact, the two gangs didn't understand a word, but between the ambiguities, I felt that what he meant was like, as long as you have a Buddha in your heart, in fact, at home, you are also a monk.
