Chapter 50: Desperate Situation

Donner tugged at the reins and drove the carriage into a side cul-de-sac.

Gleiwin walked out of the crowd and looked at the carriage that entered the dead end, with a hideous smile on his face: "Haha, it's really like a group of rats that have been suffocated, crashing headlong into the corner of the wall, thinking that in this way they can avoid the culling of cats!"

He raised his hand and motioned for his subordinates to follow him into a dead end: "Hahaha, let's hunt down this group of rats hiding in the corner now!"

Donner and Aris stood on the wall, watching the group slowly walk in, both clutching an iron ball tightly in their hands.

Glovewin and a few of his men rushed into the alley, holding a revolver in his hand: "Ha! Now, raise your hands!"

Looking at the carriage parked in the depths of the alley, Gleiwin was stunned, as he had not seen the two previous Assassins in the carriage.

"呲~"

With the sound, white smoke filled the entire alley.

"Ahem!ahem!ahem!"

When Gleiwin heard the noise, he quickly retreated out of the alley, and even then he inhaled a puff of white smoke, and he coughed and walked out of the alley.

"Rub!!"

With the sound of a sharp sword slashing, the coughing sounds in the smoke disappeared one after another.

Gurevin wiped the tears from the corners of his eyes, looked at the alley that was shrouded in smoke and suddenly quieted, he slowly walked to the back of the crowd, carried a revolver, and looked at the mouth of the alley vigilantly.

"Rub!"

Two figures sprang out of the smoke, their speed so fast that they rushed in front of them before Grawyn's men could pull the trigger.

Donner threw his Hidden Blade out of his right hand and stabbed it into the neck of his enemy, drawing his Hidden Blade as he raised his right hand and turned around, slashing through the throat of another enemy, grabbing the enemy's body and blocking the enemy's shots.

Gleiwin roared at his subordinates: "Don't shoot! the enemy is too close, and shooting will hurt your own people!"

Gholywin's subordinates put away their revolvers and drew their machetes from their waists.

Aris pulled out the Hidden Blade that pierced the enemy's chest, leaned against Donner's back, and looked at the group of enemies surrounding them: "Ha, it seems that we shouldn't be able to go back alive today!"

Donner frowned: "I'm not afraid of death, but the mission given to us by the mentor failed......"

Gorewin watched as the two people who were surrounded could still chat calmly, and roared angrily, "Damn it! kill them for me!"

"Roar!"

Donner looked at the enemy who was rushing towards the two of them, took the Assassin Tomahawk from his waist, leaned over to dodge a slash, and slashed back at the forehead of the enemy, while roaring, "Come on, Miscellaneous!"

Arispan raised his Assassin's tomahawk to block the incoming machete, the axe lifted slightly, snapping the blade into the axe, and guiding the machete to his side, blocking the slash of another enemy, and he jerked his foot up and kicked him in the crotch of the enemy.

The enemy's vulnerable parts were hit hard, and he screamed in pain, covered his crotch, and slowly fell to his knees.

Aris flicked his Hidden Blade out of his right hand and pressed it the back of the neck of the enemy who fell to the ground, quickly pulling back the Hidden Blade, and ducked his head to dodge the slashes of the others.

Donner, on the other hand, jumped high and threw the enemy who attacked Aris to the ground, sinking the blade deep into the enemy's neck, while saying, "Aris, I think you owe me my life!"

Aris swung his tomahawk to slash at Donner's machete, then turned forward and slashed his Hidden Blade through the enemy's throat, raising his tomahawk to defend against enemy attacks: "We're tied!"

Donner gasped and stood up from the enemy who had lost his breath, holding the hand of the battle axe, leaning on his waist: "I can obviously solve it myself!"

Gurewin looked at his fallen subordinates one by one, he roared frantically, and then reached out and snatched a smoothbore gun from the hands of his subordinates standing nearby, and aimed it at Aris.

"Bang!"

The smoke from the musket obscured Goraywin's vision, and he couldn't tell if he had hit Aris until he heard Aris screaming.

"Ahh

Aris splattered a splash of blood on his left thigh, and he clutched his wound and fell to his knees.

Donner heard Aris's screams and hurriedly looked back, "Are you alright, Aris?"

Aris held the wound tightly, his face turned pale, because of the severe pain, sweat quickly crawled all over his face: "Damn! I was shot!"

Gorewin waved his hand to fan away the smoke with a gloomy smile on his face: "Aha, it seems that we have the upper hand now!"

Gorewin's men picked up pistols or shotguns and aimed them at Donner and Aris.

Donner looked back at Aris who was kneeling on the ground, his fists clenched, Aris couldn't fight anymore, and at such a close distance, being targeted by so many guns, he didn't dare to act rashly.

Aris looked up at Gruven, "Looks like you won tonight, but I'm curious, how did you expect us to be here today?"

Gurewin handed the smoothbore gun in his hand to his subordinates, and his tone was proud: "Haha, I admit that you group of assassins are very powerful, you can quietly kill the overseers of the entire factory in a short period of time, and even kill more than ten of my subordinates in the encirclement!"

The smugness in Grulywin's tone became more and more obvious: "But, you underestimate us too much! After you have attacked the factories in this area many times, the Excellency who owns these factories has joined forces to hire us for a heavy salary, and we have put a telegram in each factory, and demanded that every factory must turn the telegram every half hour to prove that there is no attack there!"

Donner stood there and looked at Gleiwin in surprise, "Hire?"

Gurewin took off his top hat and bowed slightly to the two assassins: "Ah, I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself, I hope you don't mind, we are the biggest mafia in all of London, you can call us the Hungry Wolves!"

Donner was stunned: "Mafia? The magnates actually hired the mafia to be their bodyguards?"

Gorewin put his top hat on his head and looked at Donald with strange eyes: "Why not? Although bodyguards are not our main job, we can earn a considerable amount of pounds and make friends with this group of powerful people into their circle, why don't we agree? It's a win-win situation!"

Donner looked at Gurewin with sarcasm: "Do you think that by befriending these powerful people, you have become a high-class person? Ha, I think you are dreaming, you are just one of their dogs!"

Gholywin reached out and picked up a smoothbore from another subordinate, aiming it at Donner: "Whatever you want, the employer only needs one living assassin, so I'm sorry, I have to send you to God!"

Gleiwin feigned guilt and pulled the trigger, as if he really didn't want to kill Donald.

"Bang!"
