Title: Fuchun Mountain Residence Map

Huang Gongdao's friend Han Mo biography, the hills are abrupt against the distant mountains.

The vast blue waves carry who is hidden, layer upon layer.

The ink is dripping with a peak, and the village is cold and cold.

The useless junior brother waited hard, and the picture scroll was not completed to ask for money.

I'm afraid that others won't borrow it, and now it's an accident to leave a name.

The painting has been handed down for 300 years, and Hong Yu burned before his death.

The soul is far away, just for the first time to fall in love.

The mountains and rivers withered, and everyone was sighing.

If today's end is half each, the strait is close to recovery.

The remnants of the mountain are left with water and green smoke, and the souls of the closest relatives are dreamed.

How many springs, autumns, winters and summers, how many affectionate clouds.

The combination of mountains and rivers is the wish of people, and the tide is turbid!

"Fuchun Mountain Dwelling" was painted by the Yuan Dynasty painter Huang Gongwang who was nearly 80 years old, and he was 82 years old when it was completed. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, Dong Qichang passed this painting to Wu Hongyu, Wu Hongyu really loved this painting too much, and when he was about to die, he ordered his family to throw the "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map" into the furnace for his martyrdom, fortunately his nephew rescued it, but the painting has been split into two sections, and the frontispiece was completely burned.

The extant front section - Zhejiang Provincial Museum's "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map" (Leftover Mountain Map) is about half a sheet of paper and 51.4 centimeters long. The latter part - the "Fuchun Mountain Residence Illustration" (useless master scroll) in the collection of the National Palace Museum in Taipei is preserved on six pieces of paper (about 636 cm). "Fuchun Mountain Residence" was originally made of 8 sheets of paper (each paper is 106 cm long), with a total length of 848 cm. After the fire, about one and a half pieces of paper (150 cm) were burned.

This style of painting inherited from Dong Yuan, Ju Ran, and Zhao Mengzhuo, who was close to Zhao Mengzhuo, developed the literati painting spirit of calligraphy into painting, lyrical and freehand, created a new realm of ink painting, and influenced the creation of landscape painting after the Ming and Qing dynasties. Even though the composition is incomplete now, you can still see the frontispiece with low hills and distant mountains, and a high peak rising after crossing a body of water in the middle. Then a large number of villages scattered among the clouds. The back section is a hillside that pushes away from each other. Next is the flat slope, there is a water Zhu, and the last peak protrudes, echoing Huang Gongwang's number "a peak Taoist".

The origin of the name of the "Useless Master Scroll" comes from the inscription of "Fuchun Mountain Dwelling Map", which indicates at the beginning that it is to be drawn to the useless master. The useless teacher's surname is Zheng, the name is useless, he is a Taoist priest, and he is also the same disciple of Huang Gongwang. The useless master was worried that Huang Gongwang's painting would be snatched away by others before it was completed, and asked Huang Gongwang to inscribe his name first, so he left his name.
