Chapter 261: Meet!
On the shore of the azure lake was a convoy of boats, and Hagrid pointed to them and exclaimed, "Freshmen, get on the boats, no more than four people per boat!" β
"Yes, sir. Pen %Fun %Pavilion www.biquge.info"
The little wizards screamed and got into the boat excitedly.
Zhang Long, Arthur, and Philip also got on a small boat.
"Are you all on board?"
Hagrid shouted back that he was in a boat by himself, who was too big.
After making sure that all the freshmen were on board, the boats rowed across the mirror-like lake and headed forward.
The flotilla passed through the cliff, carrying Zhang Long and the others through the ivy curtain that covered the front of the cliff to a hidden open entrance.
It's a long, narrow tunnel in total darkness.
After passing through the dark tunnels to the castle and arriving at what resembled an underground dock, the freshmen disembarked and stepped onto a ground of gravel and small pebbles.
"Alright, everyone come with me!"
Hagrid disembarks from the boat with a lamp and leads the group up to a tunnel in the rocks.
Out of the tunnel, the group reached a flat, damp meadow in the shadow of the castle.
Climbing a flight of stone steps to a large oak door, Hagrid raised a large fist and slammed it three times on the castle gate.
The door immediately opened, and a man slowly walked out.
This is a witch with a rigid expression, wearing square glasses, curly black hair in a high bun, wearing an emerald green robe, probably not young, but her back is still very straight.
Zhang Long, who had seen the movie, recognized the person at a glance, it was none other than Professor McGonagall, the dean of Gryffindor.
"First-year freshman, Professor McGonagall."
Hagrid said.
"Thank you, Hagrid, and leave it to me here."
As Professor McGonagall spoke, she suddenly saw Zhang Long in the crowd, and her brow furrowed instantly.
"Hagrid, who is that gentleman in the back row, why did he come with the freshmen?"
Hagrid followed Professor McGonagall's gaze, and suddenly saw Zhang Long, who was a lot taller than the crowd, and his face changed.
"Oh, damn it!"
"Hey ......"
Without waiting for Hagrid to get angry, Long lifted his breath and jumped up on his tiptoes, flying down in front of Professor McGonagall.
"Dear Professor McGonagall, hello, my name is Zhang Long, and I am here to report to you, and this is my ID."
Zhang Long said, took out his work card and martial arts grade certificate from his arms and handed them over.
To report?
Puzzled, Professor McGonagall took the papers, flipped them open, and was shocked again.
Zhang Long, 18 years old, vice principal of the Great China Martial Arts School, black belt 3rd dan samurai.
Professor McGonagall closed her ID and looked at Zhang Long, and immediately put away her contempt.
"Welcome, Mr. Zhang Long."
Handing back the papers, Professor McGonagall continued, "Mr. Zhang Long, I still have to take the new students to the lobby, so you can walk with me for a while, and then I will take you to the principal. β
Zhang Long: "I'm in trouble. β
"Professor McGonagall, this man ......"
Hagrid looked down at Zhang Long, puzzled.
"It's all right, Hagrid, you go down, a misunderstanding."
"Okay, Professor!"
Hagrid glanced at Zhang Long, scratched his head, and left with doubts.
With a wave of Professor McGonagall's hand, the massive oak door opened.
The interior of the foyer is large, with flaming torches around the stone walls and a ceiling so high that you can barely see the top.
The façade is a lavish marble staircase that leads upstairs.
The gate was immediately opened. A tall dark-haired witch in an emerald green robe stood in front of the gate. She looked serious, and Harry's first thought was that this man was not easy to deal with.
"First-year freshman, Professor McGonagall." Hagrid said.
"Thank you, Hagrid. I'll pick it up here. β
She opened the door wide open. The foyer was large enough to fit the entire Dursleys house. Like Gringotts, the stone walls are surrounded by flaming torches. The ceiling is so high that you can barely see the top. The façade is a lavish marble staircase that leads upstairs.
The freshmen followed Professor McGonagall into a small, empty room at the other end of the hall.
Everyone rushed in, huddled together side by side, nervously and curiously looking at everything around them.
"Welcome to Hogwarts."
Professor McGonagall said.
"The opening party is about to begin, but before you head to the cafeteria and take your seats, first decide which house you will be into.
The Sorting House is an important ritual because while you are in school, the House is like your home at Hogwarts. You will attend classes with other students in the college, live in the dormitory of the college, and spend your free time together in the common room of the college.
"The names of the four houses are: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each house has its own glorious history and has produced outstanding witches and wizards.
During your time at Hogwarts, your outstanding performance will earn extra points for your house, while any misconduct will result in a loss of points for your house.
At the end of the year, the college with the highest score receives the House Cup, which is a high honor. I hope that no matter which house you are assigned to, you will be able to bring glory to the college.
"Okay, in a few minutes, the sorting ceremony will be held in front of all the teachers and students of the school. I suggest that you get in order and be refreshed while you wait. β
"I'll pick you up when it's ready."
Professor McGonagall said, walked out of the room, and said to Zhang Long, who was standing outside, "Mr. Zhang Long, please come with me." β
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, dining hall meeting room.
On the ground was the headless corpse of a silver-haired werewolf.
There were five people gathered around the corpse.
They are Headmaster Dumbledore, Head of Slytherin House Snape, Head of Ravenclaw House Flitvier, and Head of Hufflepuff House Sprout.
Maig and Ari stood next to the five of them and told the story of the attack on the train.
Harry, Hermione, and Ron stood obediently in the corner with their heads down.
After hearing what happened, Dumbledore sighed, "Well, it seems that Voldemort has been resurrected. β
Flitwick said, "It's been another eventful time! β
Sprout cursed under his breath, "These damn Death Eaters! β
Snape kept a composed, not speaking.
"Alright, Mega, Ari, go down, we already know the matter."
Dumbledore said.
"Yes, Headmaster."
After the two went out, Dumbledore looked at the golden trio and said, "You three go down too, don't go out again this winter." β
"Yes, Headmaster."
Hermione, who knew that they were wrong, answered and retreated with their heads down.
After Hermione and the others went out, Dumbledore and the others sat down again, discussing how to deal with the possible comeback of Voldemort and the Death Eaters.
Knock knock!
There was a knock on the door.
"Come in."
Dumbledore said.
Professor McGonagall pushed the door open, and Long Zhang followed closely into the conference room. (To be continued.) )
