At that time, it was dark night, a team of soldiers, a team of regiments, a team of policemen, and five detectives quietly arrived at Weizhuang, surrounded the Tugu Temple in the dark, and set up machine guns in front of the door; However, Ah Q does not rush out. There was no movement for many times, and the general became anxious, and after hanging a reward of 20,000, only two members of the group took the risk, crossed the wall and went in, and the inside and outside should be combined, and they rushed in and caught Ah Q out; It wasn't until the machine gun outside the shrine was captured that he was a little sober.
By the time he entered the city, it was already noon, and Ah Q saw that he was being dragged into a broken yamen, turned five or six turns, and pushed him into a hut. As soon as he stumbled, the fence gate, made of whole wood, closed with his heels, and the other three sides were walls, and when he looked closely, there were two more people in the corner.
Although Ah Q was a little apprehensive, he was not very depressed, because the bedroom in his Tugu Temple was not more intelligent than this room. The two also seemed to be countrymen, and gradually got together with him, one said that the old man wanted to chase the rent owed by his grandfather, and the other didn't know why. They asked Ah Q, and Ah Q replied sharply, "Because I want to rebel." β
He was caught out of the fence again in the second half of the day, and went to the lobby, where sat an old man with a shaved head. Ah Q suspected that he was a monk, but he saw a row of soldiers standing below, and more than a dozen figures in long robes standing on both sides, some of them were shaved like this old man, and some of them had their hair more than a foot long behind their backs like the fake foreign devil, all of them looked at him with a sideways face and angry eyes; He knew that this man must have some origin, and his knee joints immediately relaxed naturally, and he knelt down.
"Stand and speak! Don't kneel! The caftan characters all shouted.
Although Ah Q seemed to understand, he always felt that he couldn't stand, so he squatted down involuntarily, and finally took advantage of the situation to kneel down.
"Slave sex! ......" said the man in the caftan with disdain, but did not call him up.
"Bring it from the truth, so that you don't have to suffer. I already knew that. I can let you go. The bald old man looked at Ah Q's face and said quietly and clearly.
"Move!" The caftan figure also said loudly.
"I was going to ...... Come and vote for ......" Ah Q thought about it nonsense, and then said intermittently.
"So, why don't you come?" The old man asked kindly.
"Fake foreign devils don't allow me!"
"Nonsense! At this moment, it's too late. Where are your comrades now? β
"What? β¦β¦β
"A group of people who robbed the Zhao family that night."
"They didn't call me. They moved out on their own. Ah Q was indignant when he mentioned it.
"Where have you got? Say it and let you go. The old man was even kinder.
"I don't know,...... They didn't come to call me......"
However, the old man made a look, and Ah Q was caught in the fence gate again. The second time he scratched out of the fence gate was the next morning.
It's business as usual in the lobby. There was still a bald old man sitting on it, and Ah Q was still kneeling.
The old man asked kindly, "Do you have anything else to say?" β
Ah Q thought for a moment, but there were no words, so he replied, "No." β
So a man in a long robe took a piece of paper and brought a pen to Ah Q, and wanted to stuff the pen in his hand. Ah Q was very surprised at this time, and almost "lost his soul": because his hand was related to the pen, this was the first time. He doesn't know how to take it; But the man pointed to a place and taught him to draw a monogram.
"I ...... I...... I don't know how to read. Ah Q grabbed the pen and said in fear and shame.
"So, cheap you, draw a circle!"
Ah Q was about to draw a circle, but his hand was holding the pen but he was just shaking. So the man laid the paper on the ground for him, and Ah Q fell down, drawing circles with all his might. He was afraid of being laughed at, and he was determined to draw round, but this hateful pen was not only very heavy, but also disobedient, and it was almost closed when it shook and shook just now, but it shrugged outward, and painted like melon seeds.
Ah Q was ashamed that he couldn't draw round, but the man didn't care, he had already picked up the pen and paper, and many people caught him in the fence gate for the second time.
He entered the fence a second time, and he was not very upset. He thought that between the world and the world, there were about times to grasp in and out, and sometimes to draw circles on paper, but the circles were not round, but it was a stain on his "line". But after a while, he was relieved, and he thought: Sun Tzu has just drawn a very round circle. So he fell asleep.
However, this night, the old man couldn't sleep: he and the general vomited. The old man advocates the first thing to recover the stolen goods, and the first thing to show the general claim is to the public. The general manager has not taken the old man in his eyes recently, and said, "Punish one and make an example!" You see, I have been a revolutionary party for less than 20 days, and there are more than a dozen robbery cases, and all of them have not been solved, where is my face? After solving the case, you come back to the detour. Not! It's my tube! The old man was embarrassed, but he still insisted, saying that if he did not recover the stolen goods, he immediately resigned from the post of assistant civil affairs. But the general said, "Please!" So the old man didn't sleep that night, but fortunately he didn't quit the next day.
The third time Ah Q grabbed out of the fence gate, it was the morning of tomorrow when the old man couldn't sleep. He arrived in the lobby, and on it sat the usual bald old man; Ah Q also knelt down as usual.
The old man asked kindly, "Do you have anything else to say?" β
Ah Q thought for a moment, but there were no words, so he replied, "No." β
Many figures in long shirts and short shirts suddenly dressed him in a white vest of foreign cloth with some black letters on it. Ah Q is very angry: because this is very similar to bringing filial piety, and bringing filial piety is unlucky. However, at the same time, his hands were tied behind his back, and at the same time, he was kept out of the yamen.
Ah Q was lifted into an uncovered car, and several short-clad figures sat with him. The car immediately moved, in front of a group of soldiers and regiments with foreign cannons on their backs, and on both sides were many open-mouthed spectators. But he suddenly realized: Isn't this going to kill the head? He was in a hurry, his eyes were black, and the sound of his ears seemed to be faint. However, he was not completely dazed, sometimes anxious, sometimes calm; Between his meanings, he seemed to feel that in the world of life, he would inevitably be killed sometimes.
He still knew the way, so he was a little surprised: Why don't you go towards the Dharma field? He didn't know that this was a parade in the streets, a demonstration of the public. But even if he knew, he just thought that in the world of life, he would have to parade through the streets to show the public sometimes.
He realized that this was the way to go around to the Dharma field, and this must be a "bang" to kill the head. He looked left and right in a daze, all following the people like horse ants, and inadvertently, he saw a Wu Ma in the crowd on the side of the road. After a long absence, Yi Yuan has been working in the city. Ah Q was suddenly ashamed that he had no ambition: he didn't sing a few words. His thoughts swirled in his mind like a whirlwind: "The Little Lonely Widow Goes to the Grave" is not magnificent, and the "regret should not be ......" in "Dragon and Tiger Fight" is too lacking, or "I will beat you with a steel whip". At the same time, he wanted to raise his hands, only to remember that these two hands were originally tied, so he stopped singing "Holding a Steel Whip".
"After twenty years, it's another ......" Ah Q said half a sentence that he had never said in his busy schedule.
"Good !!" From the crowd, the howling of a jackal sounded out.
The car kept moving forward, Ah Q turned his eyes to look at Wu Ma in the cheers, it seemed that Yi had never seen him, but just looked at the foreign cannons on the backs of the soldiers.
Ah Q then looked at the cheering people.
At this moment, his thoughts swirled in his mind like a whirlwind. Four years ago, he had met a hungry wolf at the foot of the mountain, and he was always near and far from him, wanting to eat his flesh. He was so frightened that he almost died at that time, but fortunately he had a firewood knife in his hand, so he had to rely on this courage and support Weizhuang; But always remember that the wolf's eyes, fierce and cowardly, shining like two ghost fires, seemed to penetrate his flesh from afar. And this time he saw more terrible eyes than he had ever seen before, blunt and sharp, and had not only chewed his words, but also chewed things other than his flesh, and never came near or far from him.
The eyes seemed to be united, already biting his soul there.
"Help,......
However, Ah Q did not say. His eyes were already black, his ears buzzed, and he felt that his whole body was bursting away like dust.
As for the impact at that time, the biggest thing was the old man, because he finally did not recover the stolen goods, and his whole family was crying. followed by Zhao Mansion, Fei Texiu was braided by the bad revolutionary party because he went to the city to report to the official, and he spent 20,000 rewards, so the whole family also cried. Since that day, they have gradually developed the smell of old age.
As for public opinion, there is no objection in Weizhuang, and naturally they all say that Ah Q is bad, and being shot is evidence of his badness: if he is not bad, why should he be shot? But the public opinion in the city is not good, and most of them are not satisfied, thinking that shooting is not as good as killing the head; And what a ridiculous death row prisoner that swam the streets for so long, and didn't sing a word: they went with him for nothing.
