Chapter 30: The Banquet

Years later, Mr. Ollivander still remembers Christmas Day on December 25, 1965, when on a whim, he made a strange wand in a new way, and he was so excited that he forgot to send it to the Ministry of Magic to report it, so that the Ministry of Magic could add a trace to the newborn wand, and sold it to its Destiny master, a young wizard named Thomas Brian, whom he had never seen before.

Mr. Ollivanders, who has a great memory, did not find any memories of the young wizard from his own memories, which led the wise Mr. Ollivanders to think that Mr. Thomas Bryan was not a native British wizard.

But none of this mattered, the important thing was that the young wizard, who seemed to be very generous, took the newborn wand from his hand, threw a bag of gold Galleons to himself, and disappeared into his shop with his beautiful lady and daughter.

This surprised Mr. Ollivander, who wondered if this Mr. Thomas Bryan was the Destiny Master of the wand, and that the birch wood and the fur of the golden unicorn could not have been so reckless.

After just finishing a strange wand, I was in a bit of a trance, knowing that Mr. Thomas Bryan's family had disappeared for a while, and then I remembered that when I made my wand, it seemed that I used a very precious golden hair of the Unicorn King, and Mr. Ollivander, who had an understanding, opened the bag of gold galleons left by Mr. Thomas Bryan, and sure enough, there were only two lone gold gallons left in the money bag.

Ollivander didn't know if this was the most loss-making deal he had ever made, and two gold gallons were not even a tenth of the value of a unicorn's fur, let alone a unicorn king's fur.

Mr. Ollivander really recognized that Christmas was not a good day to buy a wand, and maybe it would be better not to open the door himself for Christmas in the future. Although I have gained a novel wand making zuò method today, this strange way is of no use at all except for customizing wands for young wizards with strong magical talents. Maybe I should do some unfair bargaining like that hateful Mr. Brian, after all, don't those pure-blood wizards always proudly promote the slogan that they are stupid and rich!

A hurried young wizard named Brian dragged the beautiful Madame Anna and Miss Borzia out of Diagon Alley.

Mr. Brian, who had only two gold galleons left on him, looked at the night that had fallen, and tentatively stretched out his hand holding the wand, and now even Remus himself was not sure if there was a knight bus in the wizarding world of Christmas 1965.

Under the watchful eye of Madame Anna and Borzia, Remus was slightly embarrassed and did not know how to explain something that even he was not sure of.

Fortunately, it didn't take long for a steam bus to appear in front of the three with a deafening thud.

Remus gasped for joy and took Madame Anna and Miss Borzia aboard the knight's bus.

"Welcome to the Knight Bus, hop on board and we'll get you anywhere you want to go!" The conductor said enthusiastically to Remus.

However, the shy Remus did not want to pay attention to him, and said to the young conductor with a blank face: "12 Grimmauld Place, we are going to 12 Grimmauld Place." ”

"Oh my God! Grimmauld Place XII. I know that it is the mansion of the most noble and ancient pure-blood wizard family, the Black family, and it is said that there will be a big Christmas party there tonight. Merlin, you must have been invited to a Christmas party! It is said that many of the most famous pure-blood nobles in the wizarding world will attend this banquet tonight, and in celebration of the beautiful and noble Miss Bellatrix Black, who has become the fourth year prefect of Slytherin! I met Miss Black when I was at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and you should know how charming Miss Black's pure, divine eyes were! Mr. Talkative, Mr. Conductor, was inexplicably excited about the address of 12 Grimmauld Place, and talked endlessly to the three of Remus.

Remus innocently looked at the quiet Lady Anna on the side, and let her hug his arm tightly, the soft feeling made the heart of the old Remus stir. Remus was also a little strange, not knowing why the beautiful Anna followed him without asking. I don't know if Anna and Borzia are characters in the world of HP's married men and women. Now even Remus himself is not sure what kind of world he has crossed over, and Remus does not think that he will be so sad to cross into the world of rotten girls.

A strange trip, a strange companion, and a somewhat Shinto conductor, Remus and his party arrived at Grimmauld Place Twelve after a fairly pleasant journey on a rickety knight's bus.

After handing over the last two gold galleons on his body, he left the knight's bus with a reluctant Borzia and a quiet Lady Anna. Along the way, Borzia watched the scenery flying out of the window of the knight's bus, and as a young woman, she had never had such a novel experience as she did today. Grabbing Remus's hand tightly, he followed Remus's footsteps towards Grimmauld Place Twelve.

The magic carriages that appear on the street from time to time that belong to the wizarding world not only let Remus know that he is not too late, but also let the attentive Remus know the way to enter the Black family's mansion.

Remus let go of Borzia's grip on the little hand, took his invitation from his pocket, and unleashed his magic on the invitation with his wand, announcing his arrival to the Black family mansion.

The pitch-black door slammed open, and Remus led Anna and her daughter into the Black family's mansion.

Anna didn't expect this so-called Christmas banquet to be so grand, no less than the one she had ever attended. But the way this Mr. Thomas dressed and behaved was such that Anna did not see at all that he had anything to do with such a grand banquet.

Although the house-elves in the Black family were also a little surprised that the three people in front of them were outfits with the Black family's Christmas Eve party, they wisely did not open their mouths to question, because even he, the house-elf of the Black family, was not sure which noble wizards were in the guests who had arrived today. After all, not all wizards come for the sake of their family's little master, Miss Bellatrix.

The house-elves of the Black family were very busy today, and at the request of the guests, they were taken to the pastry section of the banquet and left.

Remus looked at the sparsely populated food area, smiled with satisfaction, and took little Borzia to taste the food and drinks provided by the Black family, enjoying the beautiful night view of Christmas.

The beautiful Anna asked a little puzzled, "Why don't you go to your friends, is it because you are here for these delicious pastries?" ”

Remus looked for meat in the pastry without any image, and said to Anna with a confident smile: "You know, in some novels, the main characters are always the ones who eat and drink at the banquet regardless of their image!" There will always be some supporting characters who will consciously stand up and use an action similar to that of the villain to set off the glorious image of the protagonist! So now we just have to fill our stomachs. ”

Anna had never heard such an explanation, and she was speechless when she looked at Thomas as he walked through the food with her beautiful eyes wide.
