Chapter 108: MVP List

On November 15, a total of seven games were played in the league. Except for the Lakers' 113-98 win over the Pistons, the results of the day's other games were:

The Pelicans lost to the Knicks 87-95, and Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points and 13 rebounds and was the first contributor to the team's victory.

The Timberwolves lost 114-106 to the visiting Grizzlies, and Karl Anthony Towns, who just finished his birthday, had only 14 points and nine rebounds. The Grizzlies are on a two-game winning streak, while the Timberwolves are on a four-game losing streak.

The Trail Blazers lost to the Hornets 94-106. The Charlotte Hornets, who were at home, won the game by relying on the explosion of Nicolas Batum, the "French Pippen" facing the old owner. Batum had 33 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The Trail Blazers, who started five last season and only one left this season, have lost five in a row.

The Jazz narrowly beat the Hawks 97-96. The Jazz's away game came thanks to the play of youngster Rodri Hood, and the Hawks couldn't complain about the defeat, and Paul Millsap's last-minute defeat brought the team a losing streak.

The Celtics played the Thunder 100-85. Kevin Durant, who is playing at home, is actually on the inactive list, which may be a big reason for the Thunder's loss. And Wei Shao, who shot 20 shots and 15 irons in the whole game, was another reason for the Thunder's loss. The Celtics' Marcus Smart and Isaiah Thomas scored 26 and 20 points respectively, contributing to the team's victory.

The Raptors lost to the Kings 101-107 away. The Kings won at home and snapped a three-game winning streak. DeMarcus Cousins finished with 36 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks, and was a well-deserved star of the game. The Raptors Iron Flower Brothers both scored 20+, but to no avail, and their two-game winning streak came to an end.

The level of attention that these six games have attracted cannot be compared to that of the Lakers.

Since the start of the 2015-16 season, the Lakers have won eight of their 10 games, a winning rate of 80%.

This is something that many people don't think about.

The soul of the Lakers, Kobe Bryant, is nearly 38 years old and a veteran, and it is really difficult to carry the team forward alone.

Last season's All-Star player, Roy Hibbert, has completely become a "high round" this season, without any former style.

Jordan Clarkson, who was named to the All-Rookie First Team last season, has potential, but he's still a hairy kid. The icing on the cake can be, and it is really difficult for a strong person to help the needy.

Julius Randle, a high-pick rookie who was highly anticipated by Lakers fans last season, ended up missing the season without playing a single game in the regular season. The expectation of him became, not to ruin his career because of an injury.

The main lineup composed of such players is generally not favored by the outside world.

But just because there is one rookie Yi Feng in this lineup, it has become completely different.

People were amazed by Yi Feng's performance, and the doubts about him during the losing streak faded after the Lakers won another streak.

You can think that this is completely **** ruthless and the drama is meaningless.

But that's how cruel the world is.

The outside world has sung praises to the Lakers and Yi Feng, and many people are speculating that not many people can stop the Lakers' footsteps, just like the Warriors who are now on a 10-game winning streak.

After just one summer, the Lakers rose to prominence at a miraculous rate, becoming the subject of many teams and a model of success in the eyes of the world.

But the Lakers don't have the energy to pay attention to the fickle views of the outside world.

On November 16, the Los Angeles Lakers challenged the Phoenix Suns on the road.

The Lakers, who had just finished playing the day before, were rushing to Phoenix for the next game. Fortunately, Los Angeles and Phoenix are not far apart, and they don't spend much time on the road.

The starters of both sides in this game are-

Lakers: Jordan Clarkson, Yi Feng, Charity World Peace, Julius Randle, Roy Hibbert

Suns: Bryden Knight, Eric Bledsoe, PJ Tucker, Joan Loyle, Tyson Chandler

Kobe Bryant, who performed well in the last game, was rested in this game, and Ci Shiping replaced him as the starting No. 3. On the Suns' side, the older of the famous twin brothers, Markieff Morris, was sidelined with a knee injury, and Joan Loyle replaced him as the starter.

Tzu Shiping quickly got into the groove after the opening, hitting two three-pointers and scoring 10 points alone to lead the team to a 16-11 lead.

The Suns recovered 4 points, Yi Feng turned on the attack mode, and he scored 8 points in a row to keep the Lakers in the lead.

Unfortunately, the Lakers' offense was inaccurate after the bench was exhausted, and the good situation was ruined, and the Suns bench players ended the first quarter with a small 9-0 surge, and they led by four points at home at 26:30.

The two teams alternated points at the start of the second quarter, with Mirza Tretovic and Brydon Knight each hitting three-pointers to give the Suns a 32-35 lead.

Louis Williams burst onto the scene as he scored eight straight points to put the Lakers up by two points at 42-40 midway through the second quarter.

PJ Tucker played an offensive role at this time, first hitting a three-pointer and then scoring four straight points to lead the team to a 9-0 spurt that gave the Suns a six-point lead at 50-56 three minutes before halftime.

Hibbert hit two jumpers to score four straight points, and Clarkson also contributed four points, and the Lakers quickly tied the score.

Bledsoe hit a three-pointer and then two free throws to give the Suns a four-point lead at 57-61 heading into halftime.

In the third quarter, Knight made two layups and Loyle hit a three-pointer as the Suns extended their advantage at the start of the third quarter.

Hibbert scored six points to tie the score, and Tretovic hit a three-pointer to give the Suns a 70-76 lead with five minutes left in the third quarter.

Yi Feng was exhausted at both ends of the offensive and defensive ends, but found that neither side was pleased. Offensive shooting percentage has dropped, and defensive efficiency has dropped. Seeing that the team had been in a backward situation, he scored six points in a row under the basket many times to tie the score.

Warren and Knight combined for 10 points as they led a 13-6 attack wave to start the fourth quarter and extend the Suns' lead to eight points.

After the main lineup came back, Yi Feng scored 5 points to close the difference again.

However, the Lakers' good momentum of chasing points was interrupted, and Knight scored 6 points with free throws, making Yi Feng's efforts go down the drain and in vain.

Yi Feng's former teammate on the joint tryout, Booker, also hit two three-pointers at critical moments, completely knocking the Lakers into the abyss.

With 1:49 left in the fourth quarter, the Suns led 101-115. Even Yi Feng hit two three-pointers in the end to no avail, and the Lakers lost 114-120 on the road.

After this game, the Phoenix Suns achieved a record of 6 wins and 4 losses, extending the winning streak and winning three consecutive wins at home. The Los Angeles Lakers' three-game winning streak was ended.

Brydon Knight was the best player of the game, he had a triple-double of 32 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds in 41 minutes, and Bledsoe scored 23 points, and the Suns were able to win, and most of the credit went to these two two-way guards.

Although Yi Feng cut 30+ again, he still let the team lose.

Yi Feng had 33 points, five assists and seven rebounds, Clarkson had 20 points, Williams had 16 points, Hibbert had 14 points and seven rebounds, Tzu Shiping had 12 points and Nick Young had 11 points.

The Lakers, who are 8-3, are lucky to still hold the third place in the West. Because the Thunder and Clippers, who followed them, have both lost recently.

On the 17th, the results of the rest of the league were:

Maverick 92: 8676 people

Celtics 111: 95 Rockets

Pacers 95:96 Bulls

Thunder 114: 122 Grizzlies

Trail Blazers 80:93 Spurs

Lakers 101: 120 Suns

After the game that night, the NBA officially announced the latest MVP list -

1. Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

We can't reasonably explain what Curry has done so far this season, and we can't even describe it.

He's different from everyone else on the pitch in that he seems to be from another planet. The people of this planet have the skill to penetrate the poplar in a hundred steps.

He led the Warriors to their best start in franchise history (10-0 after the game against the Timberwolves), and they showed no signs of slowing down.

Curry has scored 40+ points three times this season. Among them, he scored 46 points on 15-of-25 shooting and 8-of-13 three-pointers in Friday's game against the Timberwolves. Although there is currently a scorer in the league who is even more exciting than Curry, even though this man is dominating the scoring charts. But we were still amazed by Curry's scoring performance.

Curry has made 52 three-pointers this season, more than three teams in the league have made this season, and he's on his way to breaking his own record for field goals made in the past two seasons.

Curry's fiery can't stop at all, he dominates the world.

2. Yi Feng, Los Angeles Lakers

You can't explain why a rookie who has only played 11 games can be here; Just like you can't explain why he's just a rookie, he's been at the top of the scoring charts for a long time.

Since the first regular season game in his career, 6 consecutive games of 20+, one of which were 40+, one of which was 50+, and then 4 consecutive games of 30+, one of which was 40+!

Average 34 points per game!

You know, he's only played 11 regular season games! Such a statistic, you have to describe it as great. To achieve such results as a rookie, no matter what words we use to praise him, it is not an exaggeration.

And you have to know that his data is not brushed out of the weak team.

The Los Angeles Lakers, a team with a great history, fell in the first two years, and it was a weak team at that time. But after Yi Feng arrived, it immediately transformed into a strong team at the top of the Western Rankings!

With a record of 8 wins in 11 games, it ranks third in the West!

Who can lead the weak team to this position while brushing out good data?

Only Easy Wind!

If it weren't for the fact that the Warriors haven't lost so far this season, then the number one place is not Curry, but Yi Feng.

3. Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder

In Thursday's game against the Wizards, Westbrook responded in the second half to the way he led his team to victory when Durant was not there.

He kept the team moving, scored a triple-double, and maintained the momentum of the Thunder championship team.

More impressive than any of his scores, Westbrook continues to keep the Thunder at a high level with Durant on the floor or not, as he has a league-high 10.9 assists so far.

4. Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers

Griffin struggled last week when he was ejected for two technical fouls against the Suns and played just 16 minutes, which led to the Clippers' two-game losing streak.

Griffin's defensive quality against Nowitzki on Thursday was also poor. It's not often that Novitsky can suppress him.

However, Griffin still had 21 points, nine rebounds and three assists for the team. In the previous five games, he averaged 28.2 points, 10.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game, which shows how high expectations are for him.

In short, the Clippers currently sit in the top four in the West, and Griffin has a part to play.

5. Andre Drummond, Detroit Pistons

Drummond's jaw-dropping start to the season is hard to ignore, not only with the Pistons making the playoffs, but also with the 22-year-old Zhuang Shen averaging 18.8 points and 19.3 rebounds per game.

We often talk about the reign of terror of Chamberlain and Abdul-Jabbar. Now, he can even compare himself to these Hall of Famer players.

He's helping the Pistons go further, and he's got more room to play after the departure of interior partner Monroe. You can't ignore a player who has double-doubles in eight consecutive games.

6. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder

The hamstring strain ended the hot-fire Durant's game against the hometown team Wizards early.

The Thunder won easily even when Durant only played half a game, and the injury left him out for the next seven to 10 days.

There are concerns that this injury could lead to other injuries. But if Durant can continue his good performance when he returns to the court, the injury is just a minor episode.

7. LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers

The four-time regular-season MVP winner may not care about his place on this list anymore.

There is only one thing on his mind this season, and that is to accomplish what the Cavaliers did not achieve in the Finals last season.

For a player who has been worried about his back injury and playing time since the start of the game, he has not shown any traces. He is the best team in the East, averaging 25.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 2.1 steals in 35 minutes per game.

With such a performance, there is no problem with appearing in this position.

8. Kawhi Leonard, San Antonio Spurs

9. Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers

10. Paul George, Indiana Pacers

Other nominees are: John Wall (Washington Wizards); Jimmy Butler (Chicago Bulls); Kyle Lowry (Toronto Raptors); James Harden (Houston Rockets); Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat). (To be continued.) )
