"Lily Collins?"
Murphy immediately remembered that this was the little actor recommended by Bill Rothes to play James Franco's daughter, as if he was going to come over for a rehearsal today, but what was the matter with making such a strange sound without turning on the lights?
Since recognizing that the voice came from Lily Collins, Carey Mulligan tapped his chest lightly, his heart back in his stomach, and the hand that grabbed Murphy's arm did not let go, but grabbed it tighter, and followed him, along the wide passage, towards the place where the sound came from.
Carey Mulligan's big, talkative eyes were already laughing, apparently knowing something Murphy didn't understand.
That's not just a good girl.
Turning the corner, the voice could be heard more clearly, it was clearly a girl's moan, Murphy frowned, Lily Collins was only twelve years old, could it be ......
The set where the sound came from was surrounded by a set, just across the warehouse wall, leaving an entrance for the camera to enter, and Murphy stopped in front of the entrance, a little hesitant, a sound that he hadn't actually heard, but knew what it might mean.
Are all white girls so precocious?
Just as he hesitated, Kerry Mulligan came out from behind, stuck his little head out against the set, looked inside, and quickly retracted his head with an exaggerated expression on his face.
Murphy glared at her and asked with his eyes, and Kerry Mulligan deliberately pursed his lips and replied with his lips, "James Franco!" ā
Rotten Lanlan? Murphy's eyes widened, when did this guy who has always had a thief's heart but not a thief's guts move so fast?
He stepped forward, kept Kerry Mulligan behind, and took a lightning-fast look at the situation inside, which was nothing like he had imagined.
On set, Lily Collins sat in a high chair with one leg stretched out near her knee, her shoes and socks had been removed and laid flat on the bent leg of James Franco, who sat on a low stool opposite.
James Franco grabbed Lily Collins' ankle with one hand and slowly rubbed the other hand upwards from the center of the foot, the little girl seemed to enjoy the game, and whenever Ranco's hand landed on her foot, there was always a strange sound between her mouth and nose.
"Remember?" James Franco's hand pinched a toe, "This little pig is on the market." ā
His hand moved to the other toes, "This little pig stays at home, this little pig eats roast, this little pig is hungry, this little pig barks all the way home......"
Lily Collins let out a hearty laugh, "I like that. ā
It seemed like they were rehearsing, but James Franco's exuberant appearance, and Lily Collins' laughter, didn't look like they were rehearsing a play in a script.
Murphy shook his head, not going to look any further, and as he was about to leave, he heard Lily Collins urging again, "Don't stop, Daddy!" Go on. ā
He unconsciously shivered, picked up Carey Mulligan and left, didn't go to the office, and went straight out of the warehouse.
"Why are you coming out?"
Taking out the sunhat from the bag he was carrying and putting it on his head, Carey Mulligan grabbed Murphy's arm and said with some complaints, "What a wonderful scene, it's a pity not to watch it." ā
Murphy pulled her to the side of the car and said angrily, "Do you want me to find you a chair, you sit at the door and watch." ā
"That's embarrassing." She followed Murphy closely, "though I've seen both of them before......"
At this, she suddenly closed her mouth.
"Before?" Murphy walked over to the Ford and turned to look at her, "When did this happen?" ā
Carey Mulligan quickly shook his head, "I don't know, I just left the set early and saw these two people hiding in the corner outside muttering, very intimate." ā
"Since then, I've felt like they're not normal." She turned to the co-pilot, "Come to think of it, James Franco is who, he's definitely not going to let Lily's stupid goof." Oh, and ......"
She seemed to know a lot of things that Murphy didn't know, and when Murphy got into the car, she opened the passenger door, sat down and said while fastening her seat belt, "I once asked Lily what she thought of James, and she said that James was fine, like hers...... Father. ā
"Uh......"
Murphy lit the fire, but didn't move, stunned.
After being stunned for a while, he suddenly realized that James Franco was not as stupid as he imagined, and it seemed that he had found a breakthrough for Lily Collins.
If memory serves, Lily Collins seems to have left her father since she was a child, and she is called James Franco Dad......
"What a mess."
Murphy flashed such a sentence in his mind, and drove away from here, there are too many messes in Hollywood, and he doesn't bother to think about it anymore, and after such a long period of contact, it can be seen that James Franco is actually a smart person, knows what to do and what not to do, even if he wants to do those things that should not be done, he should find the right time and place.
"What do you think?" Seeing Murphy distracted and the Ford back on the main road, Kerry Mulligan quickly reminded, "You're going to crash like this!" ā
Murphy quickly came back to his senses, "It's nothing. ā
Carey Mulligan loosened his seatbelt, "I'll be able to withdraw from school in a few days." ā
Murphy turned to look at her and asked in surprise, "Did your parents agree?" ā
"I don't want them to care!"
Seeing Murphy look at him again, Kerry Mulligan nodded seriously, "I've convinced them." ā
The word persuasion is very strange, Murphy was driving, but she didn't hear it, and she didn't persuade anymore, after all, her parents had agreed.
Although he knew that there must be something he didn't understand, it was not surprising that the Mulligans were able to compromise once, and again.
Seeing that Murphy was silent, Carey Mulligan puffed out his cheeks, turned his head to look over and asked, "Didn't you build a yƬ?" ā
"Build yƬ?" Murphy thought about it for a moment and said, "Carey, let Bill connect you with an acting school or training class." ā
"I was just about to drop out of school to take my freedom," Kerry Mulligan flattened, "and you're going to send me to school again." ā
"Honey," Murphy didn't say directly, but instead knocked on the side, "remember?" You said I would be a great director, you would be the best actor, and I'm working on it right now. ā
Kerry Mulligan hung his head, "I get it, I'm going to work on it too." ā
Murphy reached out and patted her little head gently.
The car drove into the city of Venice, and the two played crazy for a long time.
After a period of relaxation, the crew regrouped and ushered in the final shooting.
