Chapter 10 (Catching Insects)

At around six o'clock the next morning, Gail said goodbye to Miss White in the medical wing and went to the halls of Hogwarts to ask for help.

Considering that he did not know the location and password of the Slytherin common room, he had to turn to Professor Sprout in Hufflepuff for help.

"Oh, it's Mr. Green, isn't it! How's your body doing? Professor Sprout asked with a smile. The Hufflepuff kids love to exchange messages in private, and it's clear that someone told her what Gail said before the sorting yesterday.

"Ms. White said I was fine. But I don't know how to get to the Slytherin dorm, can you help me? Gail smiled shyly.

"Good boy, I'm the head of Hufflepuff, and it's a bit out of place. But I can send a message to your dean, Professor Slughorn who taught you Potions. As he spoke, Professor Sprout took out his wand and tapped the napkin beside him. The napkin folded itself into the shape of a bird and flew out.

After about ten minutes, a senior student with the Slytherin House emblem on his chest appeared in the Great Hall. He walked straight up to Gale and looked at him arrogantly and critically before he spoke, "Mr. Green, I'm Alan Avery, the sixth-year prefect, please come with me." Then he turned and walked outside.

"Goodbye, Professor!" Gail waved goodbye to Professor Sprout and hurried after him.

The two of them walked through the hall and entered the bottom through a staircase. After walking through a hallway, stop in front of a stone wall that looked wet.

"The mantra is 'glory'. At seven o'clock, all the new students will meet in the common room, and the fourth-year prefect will lead you to the cafeteria for dinner. Now, you have five minutes left. As he spoke, the other party showed a somewhat malicious smile and turned to leave.

A stone door in the stone wall opens, revealing the common room. Gail didn't have time to see what the hell the place was like, as he saw that a few of the freshmen he had seen yesterday were already waiting here.

Although Gale had never been to the Slytherin lounge, he was able to find his own lounge as quickly as possible, thanks to the guidance of movies and novels from his previous life. It was clear that the Slytherin House bloodline discrimination had separated him and Seaver into the same room—a dilapidated room at the very end.

Gail rushed into the room and was surprised to see Seaver frowning at his bed. He thought that Seaver had already gone out.

Gale was glad that he had gotten up a little early today, borrowed the utensils provided by Ms. White and washed up, and now he only had to grab the books he needed for class.

He pulled out his wand and walked to the wardrobe that should have belonged to him, and opened it to see that his small suitcase was standing alone in the empty closet. After a few taps on it with his wand, the suitcase bounced open on its own, and Gail took out the space bag he had and threw it on his back, turned around and closed the lid of the suitcase, closing the door to the cabinet.

"Seaver, three minutes to go. We're going to meet in the common room. Gail turned to Seaver as he walked out the door.

"Yes, Mr. Green. Why do you think I haven't gone yet? Severus followed behind Gail.

The two of them arrived in the break room at seven o'clock in one minute.

The fourth-year prefect was a girl named Wendy Travers. Seeing Gail and Seaver steadily entering the common room, she waved a time charm that showed that it was still half a minute before seven o'clock.

Gail has been in his two lives combined, and it is the first time that he has stepped on the spot to catch up with something. You know, he has always had the habit of going out half an hour in advance to prevent all kinds of emergencies, and he is a punctual person. If it weren't for his habit of preparing the things he needed a few days in advance, I'm afraid that he didn't know the class schedule this morning, and it would take him some time just to find the textbook, then he would definitely be late, and he would be late with Siever. Gail thought as he touched his space bag.

"Everyone is here. Then come down and come down with me to the hall for dinner. Today, I will guide you to the next class before each of your classes. For the next week, you will be led by a prefect every day. Keep in mind, however, that it's only a week. With that, Travers turned and walked out of the stone wall, motioning for the freshman to follow him.

Gail shrugged his shoulders, this prefect just now wanted to find fault, right? But because the two of them weren't late, they couldn't find fault, right? What's wrong with this? Is it okay to study hard? Don't always think about bullying at school, it's not right!

After breakfast, Travers led the freshmen to the Transfiguration classroom and left.

Most Gryffindor classes are taken with Slytherin, and the Slytherin children are obviously coming earlier than the Gryffindors. Everyone quickly occupied the desks on the left side of the classroom and quietly lowered their heads to read.

Gail noticed the spotted cat lying on the professor's desk in front of him. This is definitely Professor McGonagall not running.

Lily and a brown-haired girl entered the room happily, and their laughter immediately subsided when they saw the Slytherins reading quietly. Seeing Seaver and Gail sitting at the back of the classroom, Lily waved happily and said hello.

After finding her place, Lily said a few words to her female companion, and then quietly came to Gail's side and asked in a low voice, "Gail, what do you think?" ”

Well, what Lily didn't know was that she thought she was coming quietly, but in fact, the Slytherin freshmen were all keeping an eye on the surroundings.

But Gail didn't care, so he also replied in a low voice, "Ms. White said that I was normal." ”

"Okay, you're fine. Penny was ...... last night Glad. She said she knew you were a Slytherin at heart! Lily said.

Gail listened to Lily's words and cried a little: "Okay, okay, I'm Slytherin in my bones." I don't even know who my parents are, and Slytherin! ”

"It's because you don't know who your parents are, that's why it's Slytherin! Maybe your parents are pure-blooded from a certain family? No one can say. Didn't you say that a piece of jewelry from your biological mother was enough for you to receive the best babysitting services for more than a month? ”

"Lily!" Gail interrupted Lily, "I'll talk about these things in the afternoon." Isn't there no class after three o'clock? Let's go under the big tree by the lake and talk about it again. "Don't you see these little Slytherins with their ears pricked up? There's no anti-eavesdropping device for soundproofing spells or anything! Lily was still a little tender.

Lily also knew that she had said the wrong thing, and after saying hello to Seaver, she returned to her place and read quietly.

The rest of the Gryffindor didn't enter the classroom until ten minutes before the start of the class. The "Road Raiders" quartet entered the classroom almost a second before class. The four of them didn't see Professor McGonagall, and they couldn't help but let out a sigh.

Once the four of them were seated, Professor McGonagall leapt from her desk and regained her body as she landed lightly. When Gale saw this, he couldn't help but have a conjecture about Animagus - Animagus was actually restored to his ancestral body! Maybe Professor McGonagall's magical pedigree comes from cats? So, are there any monsters that are black dogs and stags? Or rats?

This idea was put on hold by Gail when he saw Professor McGonagall turn his desk into a pig and then turn it back. He had a new question to ponder: What is the principle of this? Well, the principles of magic Professor McGonagall are talking about, and Gail is thinking as he takes notes, but how to explain it in science?

Although Gail has experienced a series of obviously unscientific things such as time travel, cultivation, and magic, Gail is convinced that the reason why the science at the current stage cannot be explained is because our level is not enough. Like his crossing, although there is no evidence, the reasonable explanation is that Gail's brain waves from his previous life entered this parallel space. That's exactly what science falls under the multiverse space, right?

So how do you turn a table made of wood into a pig? Changing the arrangement and structure of molecules and atoms? Changing the elemental composition of matter? Gail thought wildly with the matchstick the professor had just given them.

Matches are made of wood and phosphorus, how do you turn wood into metal? Elemental changes? Elemental change! Thinking so, Gail picked up his wand and struck the match, which quickly burned as if it had been struck.

"Look at that Slytherin idiot! He lit a match! Potter's voice rang out with gloating laughter. The Gryffindor students turned their attention to Gael. When they saw that there was indeed a blackened afterglow of smoke still floating in the air in front of him, they all laughed.

The Slytherin students were insulted for their house glory and cast unkind eyes on Gail.

"Impossible! Gail has long been successful! Lily exclaimed, "Just got the textbook Gail and it worked!" Turned matches into needles! But Lily's voice drowned out Gryffindor's ridicule.

Professor McGonagall walked up to Gale, who had caused the commotion, glanced at Gale's desk, and exclaimed, "Slytheringa." Mr. Green was the first to finish. ”

On the table where the smoke was still unfinished, a needle made of gold with intricate and ornate patterns lay quietly there, glowing with a metallic sheen.

The Gryffindors' laughter stopped abruptly, and James Potter kept his mouth open and laughed a little silly. Lily, on the other hand, immediately smiled widely—
