How can you?
"Jaime!"
Before Yolanda could speak, he was interrupted by Achill.
"Hurry up and eat, go to bed early after eating, I still have some important things to say to Yolanda."
Mr. Potter's initial anxious look had gradually been replaced by firmness, as if he had made up some kind of determination, and his whole person became stable.
Jaime wanted to say something, but when he saw Mrs. Potter's non-negotiable eyes, he swallowed his curiosity and ate silently.
A harmonious dinner that was supposed to be a reunion after a long absence, it was spent in an awkward atmosphere.
After dinner, Mrs. Potter supervises the children back to their rooms, while Yolanda follows Achill into the Potter family's study.
"I knew we would meet again someday, but I didn't expect it to be like today." Achill spoke slowly after a long silence.
"Did Mr. Potter not think that we wouldn't meet in a wand duel, or did he not expect that we would meet in front of James?"
Achill was silent for a moment, "I didn't expect you and Jaime to become good friends. β
"Don't get me wrong, Jaime and I are just classmates. Three years ago, the first time I saw him on the train, I knew he was your son. The fact that he invited me here doesn't mean how good our relationship is. β
"Your father is because of me...... I am willing to atone for your sins, in whatever way. Archer said.
"Mr. Potter is above board." Yolanda sneered disdainfully, "Since you are so free-spirited, why didn't you let me continue in the restaurant just now?" β
"Presumably you never told your wife and son about it, did you?"
"Don't you want them to know that you have such a dirty deed? Can't bear to ruin your image as a good husband and father, don't you? β
"Speaking of which, Jaime and you are really similar, both outwardly and internally, especially when you said back then, 'He's a Slygerin, and Slajelin doesn't have a good thing, and he must be in the same league as Voldemort, and he deserves to die.'" It's exactly the same as Jaime's attitude toward Slajerin now. During my three years at Hogwarts, every time I saw him and heard his voice, I had the illusion that you were standing next to me. β
"I misunderstood your father at the time, and I only found out later that your father was actually a member of the fight against Voldemort."
"You don't trust him, so you don't do anything to see him burn in flames and buried in rubble, that's what it's all about. But even if you don't trust him, you can even treat him as an ordinary wizard, how can you treat him as a Death Eater? When he was burning himself in flames to fight the Death Eaters, how could you easily stand aside and say cool things that fell into the ground? How can you? How can it be? β
βyolandaβ¦β¦ I ......"
"In my last conversation with my father, I asked him if he ever resented Slytherin, the Gryffindors who had excluded him, and he replied that he was proud to be a Slytherin, no matter how much he fought in Slytherin, no matter how much he was ostracized."
