Chapter 21: The Three-Headed Cutie

Dudley and his group walked briskly down the hallway, moonlight pouring in through the high windows and staggering across the floor. They hurried up the stairs to the fourth floor and crept towards the prize showroom.

Inside the showroom, silver, gold trophies, medals and statues are arranged in rows of crystal glass cases.

"Harry, look. Dudley pointed to one place and said, yes, this is the medal that Harry's father had when he was a Seeker.

When Harry was excited, he kept an eye on the doors on both sides, because Malfoy hadn't arrived yet, and he was here to prevent Malfoy from suddenly rushing in and casting spells on him.

The minutes ticked by, twelve o'clock. Malfoy walked in with Goyle and Crabbe through the door on the right.

"Brother!" Dudley shouted at Malfoy.

"Shhhhh ”

Ron was a little skeptical, "Are you going to bring Filch over?"

"Idiot," Malfoy grimaced, "empty head, Weasley, what do I get in doing this." ”

"You—" Ron pointed at Malfoy in exasperation, and Dudley could have seen his flushed face if it weren't for the darkness.

"Alright, we're here to duel, not quarrel. ”

Harry and Malfoy stepped forward, facing each other, Dudley standing between them and said, "Since you have all agreed to a duel, you should know the etiquette of a duel. Start now. ”

Dudley took a few steps back.

Harry and Malfoy drew their wands and bowed to each other before they walked behind them.

"When I counted down to the three, the duel began. ”

"Three"

"Two"

"One"

"Stiff legs..."

"It's all petrified!"

It was obvious that Harry's petrification spell was faster than Malfoy's leg-locking charm, and Harry's wand emitted a brown glow that hit Malfoy while he was still chanting.

Malfoy was petrified, and he stiffened and fell backwards.

This duel, which was already a child's play, ended even more quickly.

"Cool, Harry is awesome, you can petrify the charm!" Ron shouted with too much joy.

Hermione covered her mouth in disbelief, she and Ron shared the idea that the young wizards, who had only been in school for less than two weeks, could only shoot a few sparks.

"Malfoy, you're really too vegetable. Harry looked coldly at Malfoy who fell to the ground, "How dare you provoke me every day, and if you see me in the future, you will hide and leave!"

Dudley looked at Harry and frowned, he saw that Harry's mentality was wrong, he could swell if he won, but he became arrogant and arrogant, as if Lao Tzu was the best in the world, this is extremely ignorant.

"Harry. Dudley shouted coldly.

Harry thought Dudley was going to congratulate him, but when he turned his head, he saw Dudley's cold face.

"Give you three seconds to prepare, and I'll attack you. ”

Dudley stepped aside with his wand, and he counted.

"Three"

"Dudley, what are you doing?" asked Hermione, surprised.

"Two"

Dudley ignored Hermione, just kept counting.

"Are you serious, what are you crazy about?" asked Harry. Dudley kept a cold face, not the slightest joke, he had to make Harry understand something.

"One"

Before Dudley could make a move, Harry swung his wand and unleashed the Petrification Charm, he was not in a hurry, and when the Charm was about to hit him, he swung his wand and the Petrification Charm deflected to the ground.

"Except for your weapons. ”

Harry was knocked straight away, and the wand in his hand flew out and fell into Dudley's hand. And he landed right next to Malfoy.

Harry was about to struggle to sit up, when a dagger appeared out of thin air and pressed against his brow, and he froze instantly.

The crowd was all terrified, and Hermione and Ron opened their mouths to say something, but couldn't make a sound.

"Look at Malfoy, he's been petrified by you, don't you think you've grown up in a wizarding family as much as you have grown up in the Muggle world. ”

"What's the difference between you and him now, we both grew up in the Muggle world, standing on the same starting line, why did I win you so easily. Purely because I'm working harder than you and you're harder than Malfoy. You have to know that geniuses are all one percent talent, plus ninety-nine percent perspiration. ”

Dudley pursed his lips, and the second half of the sentence was not spoken, that is, one percent of talent was very important, even more important than that ninety-nine percent of sweat.

Throughout the movie, Harry is not without talent, but without effort. The professors at Hogwarts teach very well, but it's useless if they don't work hard.

"Think about it, what else do you have to be arrogant and think that you are the best in the world?"

Dudley waved his wand, and the dagger vanished without a trace. He stepped forward and pulled Harry up.

Harry wasn't stupid, "I'm sorry. He said with his head down.

"The children can be taught. ”

"Fuck off. Harry gave Dudley a light slap on the shoulder.

Dudley was very satisfied with today's results, which not only put Harry in the right mindset, but also made him study harder and lay a solid foundation for a better fight against Voldemort in the future. What makes Dudley even more satisfying is to use Transfiguration to create a dagger out of thin air, if in a wizard duel, a dagger suddenly appears and slashes the enemy's throat, it is simply impossible to prevent it, but the magic power consumed by this operation is too huge, and Dudley now feels a little dizzy in his head.

Ron and Hermione ran over.

"You scared the hell out of me. Hermione said.

"Shhhhhhhhhh ”

"Smell around, my dear, the three of them might be hiding in some corner nearby. ”

It was Filch who was speaking to Lady Loris.

"Be quiet now, and walk slowly to the door. Dudley said to the frightened crowd.

Watching them pass, Dudley pointed his wand at Malfoy.

"You... What are you going to do to him?" Goyle asked as he shuddered at Dudley.

"Stop!"

Malfoy sat up, stiffening his neck.

"Let's go. ”

Dudley hurried towards Harry and the others, and he heard Malfoy behind him say, "Two idiots, don't hurry up and help me up." ”

As soon as they came out, another door opened in the showroom.

"They're here, I hear you. They probably went into hiding. Filch and his cat said.

Dudley said to Malfoy, "You go one way, and we go the other, and each has his destiny." See you soon!"

Malfoy took a deep look at Dudley, and he ran away with his friends without saying anything.

"Let's go too. ”

Dudley led Harry and the others to the other side, but they were unlucky, and just around the corner Filch came out of the showroom, and Filch chose the same direction as Dudley and the others.

Dudley and Harry crept down a hallway full of armor, and Filch could be heard getting closer and closer. Suddenly, Ron let out a terrifying scream, he tripped and quickly grabbed Harry's waist, and the two of them fell together on a suit of armor.

Suddenly, there was a bang, a bang, and the sound was enough to wake up the whole castle.

Dudley pulled them up, "Run!"

The four men ran down the hallway at full speed, and no one dared to look back to see if Filch had followed, and they ran round the doorpost and ran through corridor after corridor.

Letting Dudley be at the front was the biggest mistake they ever made.

Dudley didn't know where to run with them, only that it was a long way from the showroom.

"I think we've got rid of him. Dudley's breath was very steady, and he couldn't tell that this was a sprinter, which had a lot to do with Dudley's insistence on exercising during this time.

"Yes, probably!" Harry said, gasping. He leaned against the cold wall, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

Ron bent over, gasping for air, unable to even speak.

"I... Long ago and... You've said that," Hermione said breathlessly, grabbing the slit of her shirt with her hand, "you're going to be caught." ”

"Haven't we been caught yet? Dudley said.

"There's something scary here, shouldn't we be here?" asked Hermione, looking at the gloomy surroundings in fear.

"If you say that, forget it. We'd better get back to Gryffindor Tower as soon as possible," Ron said, "and the sooner the better." ”

But it's not that simple. They were just about to leave, when a cat meowed, it was Filch's cat, and it followed.

"Let's go. ”

"I'm going to be exhausted if I still have to run. I'm going to let him catch it. Ron grumbled. He was dragged by Harry.

They fled until the end of the hallway, where there was a door, and Ron excitedly ran over to open it, but it was locked.

"It's over. Ron despaired, "It's better not to run." ”

"Get out of the way. Hermione pushed Ron away very roughly, and she was about to take out her wand, but when she found that she didn't have it, she snatched it from Dudley's hand and whispered, "Alaho Cave Open!"

The lock clicked, the door opened, and they rushed in and quickly closed the door.

Hermione returned her wand to Dudley, and she said, "Alaho is open, and there is chapter 7 of the Standard Spell book. ”

Dudley whispered praise to Hermione, the lock-picking spell was a bit out of the way, and he couldn't use it, so he didn't even think he could use it.

Dudley put his ear to the door, and after a while he said, "Filch is gone." ”

"The door was locked, and maybe he thought no one would be able to get in. Hermione said.

"The door is locked for a reason. Ron and Harry said together.

Because they're facing the eyes of a monstrous big dog that's so big that it fills all the space from the ceiling to the floor. It had three heads, three pairs of vicious eyes that were dripping and turning, three noses twitching and trembling in their direction, and three drooling mouths that hung from the yellowed dog's teeth like slimy ropes.

It stood motionless, Dudley knew that the three-headed cutie hadn't attacked them, only that its nerves were a little slow. But it was quickly coming back to its senses, and it was all too clear what that deafening roar meant.
