Chapter 17 Disturbing this flying lesson
Hermione was extremely reluctant, but honestly opened her mouth.
Dudley threw the candy in his hand into Hermione's mouth, he tilted his head with one hand and tilted his head to look at Hermione and smiled, "Having a candy in your mouth will relieve your stress." β
Hermione felt her throat choke, she slapped her throat and swallowed a few times, her little face full of surprise: "I swallowed." β
"You're a pig, it's a pain in the head!" Dudley slapped his forehead.
"Blame me, so why don't you just give it to me. β
This made Dudley very embarrassed, how to answer Hermione, is it difficult to say - someone rows not by the pulp, but by the waves?
I can't help but capsize!
Fortunately, a flock of owls flew in, breaking the brief silence.
One of the owls flew towards them, and the owl threw the small package in its talon in front of Neville, and instead of flying away immediately, it stood by and tilted its head at Neville.
Neville excitedly unwrapped the small package, ignoring the owl.
This made the owl angry, and it pecked Neville hard with its sharp beak, chirped randomly, flapped its wings and flew away.
Neville is really unlucky, after the owls of the school give something to the little wizards, even if the little wizards forget to feed the owls, they will not peck people.
This is an owl boss with a mind of his own and can't be provoked.
Neville's tears of pain were coming out now, this owl was too ruthless.
It took a few moments for the pain to subside, and Neville pulled out a glass ball from his package, which seemed to be filled with white smoke.
"Neville, you've received a memory ball!" Thomas said.
"I read about it in books. Hermione put down the book "The Magic of Quidditch Ball" in her hand, she looked at Neville's memory ball curiously, and said, "You need to hold it tightly, if the white smoke inside it turns red, it means that you have forgotten something." β
"Is that like this? My grandma knows I don't have a memory......" Neville suddenly elongated his face as the ball of memory was now shiny red, and he said, "The only problem at the moment is, I don't know what I've forgotten now?"
Neville struggled to remember what he had forgotten, and just then, Malfoy passed by Gryffindor's table and jerked the memory ball out of his hand.
"Malfoy, what do you want to do, hurry up and give Neville's stuff back to him, you want to get beaten?"
As soon as Dudley finished speaking, Harry and Ron jumped to their feet, the two violent men who wanted to fight Malfoy.
"Look, you're close to Gryffindor right now, and you haven't brought your left and right protectors with you, and you said we'd beat you up all of a sudden, can you handle it?"
In the nick of time, Professor McGonagall appeared, and she always noticed something was going on before the other professors.
"What's going on?"
"Professor, they're going to beat me up together. Malfoy smirked disdainfully.
Dudley pursed his lips and said, "That's low!"
"It's not that professor, it's Malfoy who robbed me of my memory ball. Neville shouted eagerly.
Professor McGonagall's piercing gaze immediately fell on Malfoy, who was taken aback and quickly tossed the orb back onto the table.
"Wait and see. Malfoy slipped away with that.
At half past three in the afternoon, Dudley and the others were ready for their first flying lesson.
It was a clear, breezy day, and the grass waved slightly under their feet as they walked briskly down the sloping grass toward a flat lawn across the field. On the other side of the lawn is the Forbidden Forest, and in the distance, the black trees sway in the wind.
They were always the last to arrive, and the other Gryffindor students and Slytherin students were already there. There are also more than 20 flying broomsticks neatly arranged on the ground.
The brooms looked very shabby, with some branches poking out in all directions, but the front handles of the brooms were shining, and they seemed to have been used for generations. Dudley saw several brooms with obvious cracks on them. Whoever uses these brooms knows can be counted as dangerous driving.
The little wizards gathered in a heap according to their social circles, and they began to brag again, saying how they were soaring through the sky on a broomstick, and Dudley looked at them quietly and wanted to laugh, anyway, it won't be long before all these cows, ghosts, snakes, and gods will be revealed in their original form.
After a while, their teacher, Ms. Hodge, arrived. She has short gray hair and two yellow eyes, like the eyes of an eagle.
"Now it's time to take the first flying lesson. β
"What are you all waiting for?" she snapped, "everyone stands to the left of a broomstick. Hurry, hurry, hurry. β
"Stretch out your right hand and place it over the broomstick," Ms. Hodge shouted in front, "and say, 'Get up!'"
The little wizards shouted, "Get up!"
Dudley noticed that Harry only shouted, and the broom immediately obediently jumped into his hand.
Ron shouted several times, but the broom didn't respond until Ms. Hooch said with some emotion. Ron's broom finally moved, but he was angry, and the broom bounced into Ron's nose.
Dudley and Harry laughed wickedly.
"It hurts, don't laugh. Ron rubbed his nose, there was nothing he could do about the broom.
The funniest of all was Hermione, who shouted "get up" in various tones as if she were singing, but her broom just rolled on the ground as if she were a coquette.
"What a look on your face, your broom hasn't gotten up yet!" Hermione said, looking at Dudley.
"Oh, look at it. Dudley looked down at the broomstick, and he shouted with emotion, "Get up!"
The broom lay motionless on the ground, it was really too much, and he didn't even sprinkle a coquette.
Hermione chuckled.
"It may not have woken up yet, watch me shout again. β
"Get up!"
This time the broom gave Dudley a lot of face, and it moved, but it was a distance away from Dudley.
It wasn't just Hermione, but Harry and Ron laughed out loud.
Harry laughed and said a little staccatoly, "Are you trying to say it nowβit was scared and fell out of bed." Isn't it?"
"It's just not cleaned up. Dudley himself couldn't stand it, it was so spicy, this broom should be broken and used as firewood.
Dudley snuck out his wand from his left hand and whispered to the broomstick, "Float into the air." β
I saw the broom float slowly, and Dudley grabbed it, and he swayed his body from side to side in a very big way.
"How do you do this......"
"How can you do this, this is cheating!"
Dudley raised his head slightly and snorted arrogantly, he said, "We are wizards, this is completely Ji Cao, don't six." β
When everyone had successfully picked up the broomsticks, Ms. Hodge showed them how to ride the broom without slipping off it. She walked up and down the line, correcting their grip on their hands.
This is not all kinds of demons and monsters. Miss Hodge had been criticizing Malfoy for doing things wrong, much to Harry and Ron's amusement, and they wished they could raise a glass of celebration now.
"Now you can get on your broomsticks and hold on to the front with both hands, but don't slide down. β
"You all listen to me, and as soon as I whistle, you kick your legs, and you must kick hard. "When you get off the ground, you'll have to straighten your broom, and you just need to rise a few feet, hover a little, and then lean forward slightly, and finally fall back vertically back to the ground." β
"Now listen to my whistle - three... Two..."
Neville was probably too nervous to be left on the ground, and before Ms. Hodge could hit the whistle, Neville kicked his legs and flew upwards.
"Longbottom, what are you doing, get down quickly. But Neville went straight up, "Come back, boy!" called out Miss Hooch.
Neville rose in the air, descended, and swayed from side to side, his pale face filled with horror, and he cried out with a hint of crying, "Ah... Yes... No... Who's going to save me... I can't get down... Help!" Neville then went up as quickly as he had a burner, ten, twenty.
"Haha, look at Neville's stupid look, he's contracted all my laughs this year, and I guess he's going to break his leg in a moment. Malfoy gloated.
"Malfoy, shut your mouth. Dudley glared at Malfoy.
In a matter of moments, Neville showed the young wizards his amazing flying skills, hovering high in the air, rushing to the ground in the air, and climbing quickly when he was about to fall to the ground, slamming around the castle walls. Eventually, he slid off his broomstick in a straight line, and luckily he hung it on the torch stand on the castle wall, while his broomstick continued to rise higher and higher, and then began to float slowly towards the Forbidden Forest, disappearing.
Seeing that Neville's wizarding robe was about to burst, Dudley took out his wand and shouted at Neville, "Float into the air." β
As soon as the spell was released, Neville's wizarding robe broke, but luckily Dudley released the spell just in time. He slowly lowered Neville back to the ground, and then withdrew his magic.
Miss Hooch hurried towards Neville, her face as pale as Neville's.
"Poor child," said Miss Hooch, touching Neville's head, "I will now send Mr. Longbottom to check that none of you are allowed to fly in the sky on broomsticks during this period, and if I see any of you flying in the sky, then you will wait to be kicked out of the gates of Hogwarts." β
"As for Mr. Dursley, thank you very much for your magic, you have unleashed it in a timely manner and with great brilliance, and Gryffindor has added thirty points for it. β
Lady Hooch then walked towards the castle with a terrified Neville in her arms.
When they were gone, Malfoy burst out laughing.
"Do you all see his face, that big stupid man, his pale and frightened face is covered with tears, and I promise you that his pig-headed head must not have remembered how to fly and how to descend. β
"Look at this. Malfoy tossed Neville's memory ball, and he said, "If that idiot can pinch this ball, he'll remember to land on his ass." β
The other Slytherin students chimed in.
