Preface: I just wanted to tell a story

This preface will be a bit long, but I sincerely hope that you will read it through. Thank you!

I used to be a reader, just like everyone else. I used to wait all night for the author's update, and I often sighed when I saw a certain plot in the novel. I believe that every novel is a world, and I have been immersed in this world and have been fascinated by its charm.

But then, when I saw the protagonists' enemies getting more and more stupid, and their growing environment becoming more and more smooth, I became skeptical about the legitimacy of these novel worlds. It's as if in this bizarre world after another, just because they are the protagonists, the halo above their heads can light up all the paths forward. And after being brainwashed by these countless brainless so-called hot-blooded books, I couldn't help but start thinking about a question: that is, if I wrote it, what kind of story would I write?

Although the protagonist is the protagonist, at the end of the day, he is also a person. He needs to grow up, and he needs to have a dream. This dream is not just power, not just the so-called "guardian" (another meaning of guardianship, protecting the heroine's women). These can indeed be called the motivation of the protagonist to move forward, but they cannot be the whole of a protagonist. Even if we are writing YY novels, as a flesh-and-blood person, I always believe that the protagonist has a price on the road to pursue what he wants, and behind any achievement he achieves.

In my mind, the reason why the protagonists become the protagonists is not just luck, talent, or family; What is more important is what kind of experience they have had, and the choices he has made and the price he has paid in order to achieve his dreams.

Don't tell me anything similar to the pain that the protagonist experienced when he practiced what body forging skills, the pain on ** is just the most superficial thing, and it will only make the reader have a feeling of "it's okay to get through it anyway". True growth should come from a person's heart. And it is the spiritual growth that allows them to have their own true uniqueness, and it can also make him worthy of the word protagonist.

Although most of YY novels are based on YY, their core is still about people. YY is not necessarily limited to pretending to be a few coercion in front of everyone, fighting a few monsters, upgrading a few levels (and rising more than twice as fast as others), getting a few women, and finally marrying them all home. I believe that even YY novels can be told in a profound and captivating way. Just like the ancient Roman poet Virgil, his epic poem "The Aeneid" is exactly the template for the story of the YY novel, but his epic has influenced generations of Europeans, including Dante, and even Christianity has enshrined him as a prophet. You see, he was a figure who appeared before the spread of Christianity.

A good story is not just about fighting monsters and upgrading to become a godly woman, a bitter child who was trampled on when he was a child and trampled on others, using wisdom that does not belong to this world, or using a god-level system that somehow fell from the sky to seek his own benefits. Of course, I won't let my protagonist become one of those disgusting greats, tall and complete. They are also human beings, and similarly, as long as they are human beings, they will have character flaws and their own shortcomings. And this is also the reason why they need to grow, the protagonist needs to use failure after failure to gain experience, learn lessons, and finally rely on these experiences and lessons to complete the path he wants step by step.

To put it simply, the themes I want to convey are choices and costs.

Actually, there are many more things I want to say, but this is just a preface, and more feelings still have to be found in the novel. I'm a rookie writer and this is my first book. I don't have the experience, I don't have the credibility to build. But I still hope that everyone can have a little confidence in me, and I will definitely do my best to tell this story in my heart for everyone, and do my best to tell it well. Of course, the foreshadowing of the first tens of thousands of words will be a bit boring and verbose, but this paragraph is indispensable, after all, in addition to the role of foreshadowing the later text, this is also my first long novel, and I need time to discover my own style and line of study. So please have a little confidence in me, give a newcomer a little motivation, tolerance and time, I will try to shorten the time of foreshadowing, and express what I want to express as soon as possible.

As for the issue of eunuchs and unfinished books, this book can be said to be another dream of mine, and I also have a general outline and idea about the ending of this book, so please believe me, unless there is a major accident in my life, or the writing has greatly affected my profession, this book will not be eunuch or unfinished.

As for the update time, since I am also a student who is still in school, I will try my best to keep the update in the evening and noon, a total of two changes. 4,000 to 6,000 words a day, after it is on the shelves (if it is really possible...... We will try to speed up as much as possible, so please understand.

Thank you for reading this long and boring preface, and if what I said has piqued some interest in reading it, then please give me a little patience and support, and I will try to express what I want to express in my mind, slowly.

Thank you!

Knight.
