Xiao Gao is not the only one who has been fooled. Since October this year, the Chongqing police have successively received reports from teachers and students of many colleges and universities and citizens from the main city and some districts and counties.

Hainan rounded up 6 suspects

At noon on December 7, with the strong support of the Hainan police, the special case police rounded up several hotels located on Datong Road and Wenhua Road in Danzhou City, Hainan Province, and arrested all six people including Li Mingguang, a member of the criminal gang.

At the scene, the police searched 112 bank cards involved in the case, 16 mobile phones involved in the case, 275 bank card numbers and 1 notebook that fraudulently used other people's ID numbers, and more than 20,000 yuan of stolen money.

Yesterday, we learned that since 2009, the suspect Li Mingguang and others have posted false information on the Internet such as Taobao refunds and ticket refunds, and the main modus operandi is: promising the victim to return a certain amount of money, and then instructing the victim to conduct transactions at the bank ATM machine by phone, waiting for the opportunity to transfer the cash on the victim's card to commit fraud, involving more than 400,000 yuan.

At present, Li Mingguang and other six suspects have been criminally detained, and the case is being further investigated.
