A few digressions about Teacher's Day
I saw the news today and knew that today was Teacher's Day, to be honest, I have never met those good teachers on the news, and what impressed me the most so far is the math teacher who taught me in the fifth and sixth grades, his surname is Zhou. As for the reason, it is that this teacher is very fierce and slapped me.
The primary school in our village only has kindergarten to the fourth grade, and the fifth and sixth grades have to go to the school one kilometer away. I remember when I was in the fifth grade, the primary schools in my village and the other two villages were merged into one primary school. In this way, the students of all three villages are in one school.
At that time, my friend in my village, who was one year higher than me, knew that Mr. Zhou was teaching us mathematics, and he said to me that this teacher was very fierce and loved to beat people. Later, a few older people from the same village told me.
At first, I didn't pay much attention to it until the first day of his math class, when a classmate in my class was slapped twice by him for saying two words to his tablemate. That's when I realized how terrible he was.
However, this is not the most terrible, once in math class I didn't pay attention, he walked to the side, pointed to my textbook and asked me which mathematical formula he just said, I pointed wrong, and I was slapped by him.
Another time, I got two wrong in the class assignment he assigned, and he called me to the podium, and he pointed to my wrong question and asked, "Why did you do it wrong?" Before I could answer, I slapped him. As a result, I got two math problems wrong and got slapped twice.
Of course, other students also enjoyed such "treatment", and some female students were not spared.
The last time he was slapped was in sixth grade. When we read, we read Chinese on Monday morning, math on Tuesday morning, and so on.
That morning I happened to be studying math, and when I saw that he didn't come, I chatted with a classmate, and he said how many frogs he caught last night, and he caught a snake, and when I was talking to him, he didn't know when he came to the teacher, and it was good to see me talking.
He walked up to me with his hands in his pockets, took his right hand out of his pocket, raised his hand and gave me a slap, which made me bright in the eyes, my ears buzzed, my face was like a fire, red to the base of my neck, and after a while, four clear finger marks appeared on my face (because when you slap someone, your thumb usually can't hit your face).
These were my cases, and some of my other classmates were even worse than me, and some of them were even grabbed by the hair and slammed against the wall, which was like a ruffian beating someone.
We were beaten by the teacher at that time, and we generally didn't dare to tell the parents, sometimes even if we told the parents, the parents would say, the beating is good, who told you not to pay attention to class, don't study hard, I think the teacher is also lightly beaten.
Only one parent came to the school to report that it was the parent of a female classmate, saying that he should not slap the student in the face, and it is okay to slap the palm and buttocks. Of course, this female classmate is my senior sister. He mentioned this to us in class, and he said that he never took care of the female classmate again.
However, under his brutal methods, my math scores improved rapidly, and I took the first place in the whole grade in the first high school entrance examination (hehe, there were only two classes at that time), and even the homework he assigned was completed seriously, and I didn't dare to be sloppy.
After graduating from elementary school, I was still full of hatred for this teacher. But as time passed, the hatred gradually disappeared. He is still teaching at the school, and I heard that he has become a principal. The former principal was said to have been removed because he played cards, and the former principal was my sixth-grade homeroom teacher, who taught us Chinese, and was a humorous person, but he especially loved to play cards.
Sometimes he would go to town for a meeting and come back, and he would not go to school, either sitting at the table or standing at the table and watching people play. In addition, I will tell you a secret, he and my dad are card friends, and the relationship is not bad.
Now I hear from the children in the village who are studying that Zhou no longer beats students, but he is still a little fierce, and many classmates are still afraid of him.
Well, aside, there are many good memories of childhood, even if we meet such a math teacher, our childhood is still very happy.
Finally, I wish all teachers a happy holiday! (If there is no teacher among the people who read this article, this sentence means that I didn't say it, hehe...... )
