Description: One of the most popular species among pet birdcatcher enthusiasts. The breastplate of the adult specimen is golden, and the whole body is covered with a layer of red hair, which is abnormal, noble and beautiful. The juveniles are also beautiful in color, with black cuirasses, pink feet, and metallic green bellies.

Although they are arboreal species native to the New World, they are not as docile as the pink toes of the genus Avicularia. On the contrary, it is more like the gorgeous rainforests of the genus Poecilotheria in the Old World, which are fast and aggressive, and relatively toxic among pet birdcatchers.

They grow very fast, usually a small larvae of 2-3 cm is enough to reach a foot span of about 10 cm in just one year, and show the attractive color of adults, so they have a high growth expectation index.

Whether you are raising small larvae or large individuals, a piece of bark or a shelter is highly recommended. Because they are also very easily frightened, the problem of running away and running away is often a headache for breeders. Therefore, it is not a suitable breed for novice breeders to try their first breeding attempts.
