The combination of each workpiece is produced, which is compared with the previous standard part after being photographed by a computer or industrial X-ray, and is allowed within a certain margin of error, but if it is out of the tolerance range, it will eventually be reworked.
Before the assembly work begins, the workers at each station have to check whether there are any foreign objects inside the components they are facing in front of them, and a mirror is pressed on the diagonal top of each station, so that the workers can notice whether there are foreign objects inside the components in front of them from different angles.
The entire assembly process is extremely strict, and even the workers are verified as if they are robots, so as to finally ensure the quality of Huayang Power products.
After the cylinder block and head are assembled, a leak-proof process is carried out, and the assembled workpiece is placed on the assembly line and transferred to the front of a robot.
The robot will carry out leak-proof treatment on this component, in fact, it is to inject a special glue containing silicon into the joint part of the workpiece, so as to ensure that the water and oil channels do not leak at all after the cylinder block and cylinder head are combined when the engine is working later.
Then it is necessary to install the oil pump and so on to the engine, and then to move on to the installation of the variable valve timing system, such as the timing chain and other accessories.
If the engine is equipped with a turbocharger, the turbocharger and other steps should be added after this process.
After installation, the engine components are sent to an inspection bench, which is similar to a blower, but the air outlet is up, the engine is placed on this tuyere, and then the blower starts to blow air upwards to check whether the oil pipe is leaking and so on.
The last procedure is to install the ignition coil for the engine, the current technology is very developed, the ignition coil is very small, so the ignition coil is very particular about the placement and size before being recognized by the robot, and there must be no error, because once it is not placed properly, the robot may not be able to identify these ignition coils.
This robot uses Yaskawa's two-arm robot, and the assembly speed can be said to be very NB, he first swept the ignition coils into the arm pocket in front of him, and then installed these ignition coils into the cylinder head at a speed of more than ten per second.
Then even if an engine is assembled, it will be the last process of the engine, quality inspection!
In this last part, because the entire engine has been assembled, the inspection method is intuitive and touch, which requires a high level of experience from the workers.
Because they recruited a lot of engine manufacturing masters before, they also specially familiarized these people with the production line process and carried out production for a period of time, and then let these masters come to the last part to do quality inspection.
After they were thoroughly familiar with this set of processes, they were assigned two apprentices to each person, and these apprentices were also specially selected from the production line to serve as skilled employees.
The quality inspector will take out photos of the previous standard engine to compare it with the assembled engine from all angles, and if it is qualified, they will put a green label on the engine.
If they don't, they will put a red label on the engine, and then a forklift will send the engine to a different work area.
Qualified engines are placed in partitioned warehouses waiting to be transported by the production department, while unqualified engines are left in the recycling area for rework and testing.
