The business of the church has since been entrusted entirely to the established church stewards, bishops and elders; And these two titles, at first, seem to have been used to refer to the same position and the same person. The name elder signifies their older age or more importantly, they are steady and intelligent. The title of bishop indicates their responsibility to supervise the faith and conduct of the papacies in the diocese under their jurisdiction. Depending on the number of believers in each diocese, a more or less group of episcopal elders guides each of the newly formed ecclesiastical groups with equal power and consultative attitude.
