CNC devices are the core of CNC machine tools. Modern numerical control devices are in the form of CNC, CNC is the English Computer_Numerical_Control, this CNC device generally uses a plurality of microprocessors, in the form of programmed software to achieve numerical control functions, so it is also called software numerical control, English called Software_NC.
The CNC system is a position control system, which is based on the input data to interpolate the ideal motion trajectory. It is then output to the execution assembly to machine the required part. Therefore, the numerical control device is mainly composed of three basic parts: input, processing and output. And all this work is rationally organized by the computer's system program, so that the whole system works in harmony.
Input device, it is to input numerical control instructions to numerical control device, according to the different program carriers, there are different input devices accordingly. There are mainly keyboard input, disk input, CAD/CAM system direct communication input and DNC connected to the upper computer, that is, direct CNC input.

The paper tape input mode can read the part program with the paper tape photoelectric reader to directly control the movement of the machine tool, and the content of the paper tape can also be read into the memory, and the machine tool movement can be controlled by the part program stored in the memory.
Information processing is the transfer of machining information to the CNC unit by the input device. It is compiled into information that can be identified by the computer, and is gradually stored and processed by the information processing part in accordance with the provisions of the control program. The position and speed instructions are sent to the servo system and the main motion control part through the output unit.
The input data of the CNC system includes: the contour information of the part (starting point, end point, straight line, arc, etc.), machining speed and other auxiliary processing information (such as tool change, speed change, coolant switch, etc.), and the purpose of data processing is to complete the preparation work before the interpolation operation. The data processing program also includes tool radius compensation, speed calculations, and the processing of auxiliary functions.
The output device is connected to the servo mechanism. The output device receives the output pulses of the combinator according to the command of the controller. And send it to the servo control system of each coordinate, after power amplification. Drive the servo system to control the movement of the machine according to the specified requirements.
The servo system is an important part of the CNC machine tool, which is used to realize the feed servo control and spindle servo control of the CNC machine tool. The function of the servo system is to convert the instruction information received from the numerical control device into the linear displacement or angular displacement movement of the machine tool execution parts after power amplification and shaping processing.
Because the servo system is the last link of the CNC machine tool, its performance will directly affect the accuracy and speed of the CNC machine tool and other technical indicators, therefore, the servo drive device of the CNC machine tool is required to have good rapid response performance, accurately and sensitively track the digital instruction signal issued by the CNC device, and can faithfully execute the instructions from the CNC device, improve the dynamic following characteristics and static tracking accuracy of the system.
The servo system consists of two parts: the drive device and the actuator. The drive device is composed of a spindle drive unit, a feed drive unit, a spindle servo motor, and a feed servo motor. Stepper motors, DC servo motors, and AC servo motors are commonly used drive devices.
The measuring element detects the actual displacement value of each coordinate axis of the CNC machine tool and inputs it into the numerical control device of the machine tool through the feedback system, and the numerical control device compares the actual displacement value fed back with the instruction value, and outputs the displacement instruction required to reach the set value to the servo system.
The machine tool host is the main body of the CNC machine tool. It includes mechanical parts such as bed, base, column, beam, slide, worktable, headstock, feed mechanism, tool holder and automatic tool changer. It is a mechanical part that automatically completes various cutting processes on a CNC machine.
