Zhang Yang said: "I don't doubt anyone, I'm just talking about things, I really feel that the political significance of the provincial meeting is far greater than the so-called sportsmanship, a provincial games can not change anything, let alone set off any national fitness, the people's rights should be a lively look, and the leaders value it is not through the provincial games to comprehensively improve the level of sports." ”

Gong Qiwei said: "You kid, how can you have so many complaints? ”

Zhang Yang said: "I owe it so much, complaining helps relieve pressure, Mayor Gong, don't take it to heart." ”

Gong Qiwei said: "I see that you are idle, get ready, and soon you will be burdened by your body." "The city has basically made it clear that the work of the high-tech zone will be handed over to Zhang Yang in the future.

Zhang Yang said: "Maybe, I have been engaged in the work of the sports committee since I came to Nancy, and now that the affairs of the Provincial Games have been basically completed, I suddenly feel a little empty in my heart." ”

Gong Qiwei smiled: "Do you feel that your work has lost its challenge? ”

Zhang Yang nodded and said, "A little." ”

Gong Qiwei said: "Don't forget the matter of the Economic and Trade Conference, it is not only the Provincial Games that the city has handed over to you. ”

Zhang Yang said: "As I said, what the city values is not the Provincial Games, but the leaders of you have always held the purpose of sports and economic singing. ”

Gong Qiwei said: "I complained again, now we are focusing on economic construction, and only when the economy develops can we have more energy to take care of sports and cultural undertakings." ”

Zhang Yang said: "Mayor Gong, I always feel that there is a serious formalism in many of our current work. ”

Gong Qiwei said with interest: "Let's hear it." ”

Zhang Yang said: "I'll say a few words casually today, don't take it to heart."

Gong Qiwei said: "If there are so many words, say it quickly!" ”

Zhang Yang said: "Let's take the sports industry as an example, but whenever we encounter an event, what do we value? What is important is the number of medals, as if the number of medals is the first in our national sports quality, but our domestic sports adopt a centralized training system, and the team of professional athletes ranks first in the world. ”

Gong Qiwei said: "Who made us the number one in the population." ”

Zhang Yang said: "I think that although this centralized training system can effectively increase the number of medals, it does not represent the real sports level of a country, not only sports, education is also the same, the standard for assessing whether a student is excellent is not his comprehensive ability, but his academic performance, do you say that such a standard is a bit mechanical?" The form is a little bigger? ”

Gong Qiwei said: "I admit that there are deficiencies in many domestic industries, but have you ever thought that these standards are actually in line with the national conditions, if you lose the standards, our society will fall into chaos, and sports competitions have completely become a battle for gold medals, but if we cancel the competition for gold medals, then what is the level of judgement, a lack of competition competition, how many people's attention can be attracted?" Every year, countless high school students work hard for the college entrance examination, if you don't use exams to test their results, then tell me, what is the best way to tell which of them is better and which is worse? Our society is in the process of development, development is a process of continuous progress and self-improvement, people can not eat a mouthful of a fat man, the society is the same, which requires us to use our own efforts to constantly change everything around us, maybe we change only a small part of Nancy, but if we work together with thousands of cadres in the system, then the change will be huge. ”

Gong Qiwei said so much in one breath, felt that his mouth was a little dry, took a sip of the teacup and said: "You are not wrong about one thing, the focus of the Provincial Games is not what kind of results the athletes achieve, not how many records they can break, what we want is a complete success, Nancy won the gold medal first, that is only Nancy's own success, and does not represent the success of this Provincial Games, we want all the brother cities to come to Nancy, there is a feeling of home, to make them feel the enthusiasm of our Nancy people, What is the spirit of sport for them to see the changes in Nancy? ”

Zhang Yang said: "Friendship first, competition second!" ”

Gong Qiwei shook his head and smiled: "Fair! We want to give everyone fair treatment, they don't send the best athletes, maybe Nancy can stand out this time, but in this way, even if we get all the gold medals, the gold content is greatly reduced, our purpose is to better communicate with sister cities through this provincial games, the exchange is all-round, not only limited to sports, but also economic and cultural, many deeper things. ”

Zhang Yang said: "What do you mean ......?"

"As the host, we might as well be more generous, the registration date can be appropriately extended, and you can communicate with the municipal sports committees to try to let them send the strongest team, if we do all this, they are still unwilling to send the best athletes, then they will not be in the future

Gossip, are you right? ”

Zhang Yang nodded, Gong Qiwei's words did have some truth.

After talking to Gong Qiwei, Zhang Yang suddenly didn't pay so much attention to the gold medal and ranking, in fact, the city didn't care about the final ranking, they valued things other than sports, if they could win the gold medal first, of course, it was the icing on the cake, if it didn't succeed, it was not a mistake, his current work was good enough, and it was inevitable to get promoted.

Zhang Yang decided to follow Gong Qiwei's suggestion, extended the registration time for the Provincial Games by a week, and personally called the heads of the sports committees of the brother cities to mobilize them to send the strongest lineup of athletes, but it did not have much effect.

Zhang Daguan is happy to see this result, it's not that he doesn't know, now he has a high posture, don't care if it's hypocritical, but after all, he has shown enough sincerity in the registration issue, and he has constantly made concessions, and now people are unwilling to come. According to the final registration list, Zhang Daguanren and several deputy directors analyzed it, and they had a great confidence that they would win the gold medal in the Provincial Games this time.

The preparations for the Provincial Games have been carried out seven-seven-eighty-eight, and now everything is ready only to owe the east wind, as long as it waits until the opening in October, this matter will be successfully concluded, Zhang Yang is currently putting most of his energy on the autumn economic and trade fair, because this economic and trade fair is aimed at the T industry, the purpose is to introduce more high-tech industries, so the contact with the business is selective.

Indel company, Gaopu company, ConMet company, the world's top computer manufacturers have signed a contract to set up a booth in this book event, driven by them, the domestic computer manufacturers of all sizes for the autumn economic and trade fair, in early July signed to participate in the exhibition manufacturers have reached nearly 100 kings, so Zhang Yang has seen the great prospects of the high-tech zone.

Chang Lingfeng handed Zhang Yang the list of currently signed merchants and said: "Zhang Yang, the scale of this exhibition is larger than the spring Beijing IT Exhibition, and the number of merchants who have signed up for the exhibition is still increasing. ”

Zhang Yang said: "Okay, do a lot of goodness!" ”

Chang Lingfeng smiled: "Then there must be a standard." ”

Zhang Yang said: "Increase the cost of the booth, and the one with the highest price will win." ”

Chang Lingfeng saw the face of a profiteer, he couldn't help but want to laugh, Chang Lingfeng said: "This year is the first time to hold, and we have announced the exhibition standards in advance, if the temporary change of conditions, it will definitely cause dissatisfaction among the merchants, I think the first year is like this, I plan to classify the exhibition area, the central exhibition area arranges internationally renowned enterprises, around the central exhibition area according to different types of different exhibition areas, and adds 100 booths around the periphery for small businesses." ”

Zhang Yang nodded and said, "You can do the specific things, I don't worry about you doing things." ”

Chang Lingfeng said: "It is foreseeable that this economic and trade fair will be successful. ”

Zhang Yang said: "Vice Premier Jian will come to attend the opening ceremony of the economic and trade fair, which was successfully held, and it will be more sensational than the Provincial Games." ”

Chang Lingfeng said with a smile: "If these two things are done well, you will have enough political capital and advance forward, just around the corner." ”

Zhang Yang said: "I am now more and more indifferent to the official position, it is best to help the people do something in a down-to-earth manner, as for whether I am personally promoted or not, I don't care!" ”

Chang Lingfeng looked at him suspiciously, he didn't believe that this guy would have such a high realm.

Zhang Daguan figured out something from his eyes, glared at him and said, "Why are you looking at me with such eyes?" ”

Chang Lingfeng said: "I'm thinking about what we said before. ”

"What?"

Chang Lingfeng said: "You once promised me that you would let me go after the Provincial Games." ”

"Did I say that?" Zhang Daguan's face was confused.

Chang Lingfeng said: "You can't regret it. ”

Zhang Yang said: "Am I that kind of person? He was thinking in his heart, and when the time came, Chang Lingfeng's right-hand man couldn't be let go easily, and he was much easier to have him by his side, so he had to think of a way to let him stay anyway.
