I pondered for a long time, and the answer should be this, when I started writing, the outline of a grand world was already beckoning to me in my heart.

Just like I said at the beginning of the book "Shocking Door", that the book has 12 parts, 81 chapters each, a total of 972 chapters, and will be completed in March this year. This is true of "Shocking Door", and the same is true of this series of creations, when I started writing, I already had a rough overall framework in mind. The idea of this series of works can be traced back to my teenage years, the earliest and even junior high school days, before the advent of the Internet today.

However, at that time, Internet technology had already appeared, and the earliest information interconnection applied to the United States could rely on civilian telephone lines. When the Internet was first promoted to civilian use, it was also called the information superhighway that was used for a very short time.

Thanks to the progress of the times, I have the opportunity to realize such a dream, create this series of works on the Internet, and make so many friends.

When everyone comes into this world and opens their eyes to see everything around them, they often always have some kind of whimsical idea that seems to be able to travel through time and space, which is probably an experience that every teenager has experienced. What kind of world do we live in, what kind of fantasies have we had, and how do these fantasies ultimately reflect reality?

The world we live in is not this classroom, this campus, this house, this era, and the history of this era, where did the world come from, and how does it appear as we see it today? Things in one time and one place also include ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign.

What if there were legends in the world, or if there were legends around us, or if they were ourselves? Whether imagination only means imagination, and what is the meaning of people's imagination from ancient times to the present, is the origin and origin of this series.

Although I have always had such wishes and ideas, and I have long conceived them consciously or unconsciously, I always felt that there was not enough accumulation and precipitation to describe these thoughts clearly, and I did not start writing until I was 30 years old.

I didn't start writing my first book iQue in 2006, but in 2004, I was already working online in my spare time, which can be regarded as a way to spice up and soothe my mood in my boring work.

At that time, I had a short article in the "Securities Market Weekly" about some things that happened in the so-called restructuring process of a listed company. However, it is not a report, although the story also has a realistic template, and I have done a lot of research and interviews, but of course it has been processed and fictionalized the plot and characters.

This short story was later modified and reprocessed, and the name of its fictional main character became Bai Shaoliu, which is the prequel story of the long "Human Desire". At that time, I also started to create some short and medium-length stories on the Hexun column and Sina Forum, and many of them were supernatural and a bit chatty. Because of my interest, I even worked as a moderator for a while on the Sina forum.

Among them, there are several short and medium-sized stories, which were later compiled into "Ghost Stocks". The first part of "Ghost Stocks" was created in 2004, and the last part was completed in 2006, when I was already working on another novel, iQue.

iQue was my first feature-length network, and Ghost Stocks, which was completed at the same time as its serialization, is a collection of short and medium-length stories with characters that complement and echo iQue.

According to others, I was very smart when I was younger, so in addition to doing my homework, I had a lot of time and energy to think about and find various things to look at on my own. But when I think back on it, I was very ignorant and ignorant at that time, and I was not as mature as many of my peers. From this aspect alone, it is a bit of the shadow of the wind gentleman.

Watching "iQue", I feel that the character of the Wind Gentleman used to be very smart but not very sensible. He knew a lot of things, but there were some things he didn't understand. If such a person wants to move towards true maturity, he needs to crawl around in the world. Then "Ghost Stocks" is based on the story of the wind gentleman as an adult, which is actually the process of this character going through the process of crawling and maturing.

Reflecting the times, describing the world, and portraying characters, if "Ghost Stocks" is missing, this character is only missing a very important link in the story of "iQue", and it cannot be completely connected with the later "Human Desire" and "Shocking Door". Therefore, although this series of works tells stories from ancient and modern China and foreign countries, with different backgrounds, different themes, and even different brushstrokes, they ultimately construct an overall world and world view system.

I was born in 1974 and started working on this series in 2004, and today it is 2014. It took me ten years to work on the series of works of heaven, earth, people, ghosts, gods, spirits, and astonishment, from the age of 30 to the age of 40. In the past ten years, I feel very happy, which can be described in one word, that is-cool!

As an adult, I was still sluggish at times, and some things were not even clear at the time of my experience. For example, not long ago, I happened to read a book written by a group organizer, and I was "honored" to see my name unexpectedly, so I realized what I had experienced many years ago.

Someone once invited a group of well-known economists at that time, major authoritative media, and internationally renowned institutions to organize a special team, and in just 30 days, formulated 49 plans, "monitoring or guiding 658 news reports and 3,683 pieces of relevant information". The cause of such a big battle is just to deal with a pen against one person. At that time, I only wrote a few sentiments by accident, and I did not aim to discuss the so-called "academic" issues in that quagmire.

Something like this, of course, has nothing to do with the specific experience of creating an online article, and may just be material. In the years I have been creating the Internet, although I have also experienced some inexplicable incidents and twists and turns, compared to the scenes I have seen, I have long been calm and even difficult to be moved. For me, online writing is a comfortable and happy job.

I also often post comments from book friends, and some people are keen to discuss the relationship between the various characters in the book, which can be regarded as an interesting anecdote, because this series of products is originally subordinate to a worldview system. Sometimes, however, it feels like some of the discussions are meaningless, and the discussants come to fatalistic conclusions that deviate from the original meaning. For example, during the serialization of "Shocking Door", people kept asking - what is the origin of Cheng Tianle?

Can I say that the joy of heaven is the joy of the sky? In this series of works, no matter what the characters are, whether there is a so-called origin or not, the story of what happened to them only depends on their behavior and the choices they made. If there really is a so-called origin, then all people in this world and even all living beings have a history, and it is not a background that belongs to anyone in particular.

Shortly after the beginning of this book, when Bai Shaoliu in the book faced Cheng Tianle's question, he had actually answered this question - all living beings are coming again.

Of course, the clues of some characters in the book do run through the ancient and modern, such as the clear explanation of the Qingdi - Qingfeng - Fengjunzi, Medanzo - Qiye, Gabriel - Avthena, Amon - Bai Ji Dolphin - Bai Shaoliu. But the focus of this depiction is not the direct connection between the characters themselves, in fact, they can have no connection at all. Rather, in such a way, we try to depict the evolution of civilization inheritance, the vicissitudes of the world, and the integration of history and the present.

Bai Shaoliu is not Ameng, nor is he the Baiji dolphin, discussing his origin depends on what angle to analyze, rather than drawing any fatalistic conclusion, otherwise how could the Baiji dolphin struggle in the Yangtze River and fall into the fishing net? Another example is how to look at the character of Amon, who is a miner, and his experience is like the process by which people imagine, depict, and create gods themselves.

In "Shocking Door", a picture scroll may express a kind of thinking that how people perceive the world often determines what kind of world people are in. Cheng Tianle opened the magical Gusu world in the picture scroll, and Xiao Shao was able to walk out of the picture scroll and come to the real world. Just like the monsters described in the book, they open their minds to see the world, and they are creating the world they live in.

Becoming happy, listening to Xiao Shao. This is the character and story that the door wants to describe, not the story of a person named Cheng Tianle who is invincible in the heavens and the earth and dominates the Eight Wilderness [***].
