Chapter 66: Testing

A faint white glow emanated from the white light stone, illuminating the entire room.

Freya quietly flipped through the book in her hand, and while thinking about it, she was also sighing slightly at the swordsmanship that the author had studied.

"If it is really as stated above, then... The bayonet sword will also be the most perfect swordsmanship..."

She had finished reading all the stabbing swordsmanship, but there were still a few pages left at the end of the book.

"What's next?"

She frowned slightly as she looked at the blank space of the half of the page, and at the different sheets that had obviously been added to the back.

With curiosity, she flipped it open.

only to find that the back was not a text about swordsmanship, but a messy and crooked text.

'The world... Gate... Eternity...'

The distorted handwriting made her unrecognizable, and she could only vaguely discern the meaning of individual letters.

Large paragraphs of unidentified handwriting, some high and some low, occupy the entire page.

She glanced at it and saw that all the handwriting was faint across the paper, as if it formed a pattern of eyes with black pupils.

"Is this a prank?"

Looking at this thing made up of words, she couldn't figure it out, and she turned to the second page.

It's the same with a lot of crooked fonts, but this time it's a large, slightly open mouth.

In the pages full of handwriting, she actually saw the lines of her lips in the pattern composed of words, and the details were the same as the real thing.

"What's that?"

Just as she looked at the pattern in her hand and frowned slightly, the white light stone next to her, which had been emitting white light, suddenly dimmed and then lit up again.

There was still the sound of students walking outside just now, but at this moment, it was all quiet and became extremely silent.

A strange atmosphere suddenly appeared, which made Freya, who was sitting on the bed, slightly cold.

And Freya, who seemed to be unaware of anything, subconsciously hugged herself on top of her, and her blue eyes opened wide to the next page.

This time, it is not a pattern formed by the distorted handwriting of the first two sheets, but a landscape painting on the prairie.

The blue sky, the turquoise grassland, the painting shows an ordinary girl wearing a white skirt and red boots galloping on the grassland, looking youthful and lively.

But behind the girl's back, there was a gray shade, like a stain, and it seemed to be deliberately painted.

Freya stared blankly at the gray shadow behind the girl, as if she was attracted to her gaze, and her expression was a little dazed.

'Bang Bang'

It seemed that the sound of leather boots stepping on water stains suddenly sounded at the door of the dormitory, making her raise her head slightly and look at the door a little sluggishly.

Through the crack under the door, she could vaguely see a pair of familiar red women's boots, standing quietly in the door of her room.

This made her slightly stunned. Suddenly, she saw the boot jump slightly.

'Bang Bang'

The bright red liquid was splattered into the room with the jump of the boot.

Freya looked at the liquid, her eyes froze.

A dangerous aura that was different from usual seemed to spread from the liquid, and the slightest murmur from nowhere made her get goosebumps all over her body in an instant.

She shuddered, blinked, and looked there, only to find that there was nothing, as if it had been all a hallucination.

Freya frowned slightly, instinctively feeling a little unusual, she held the cross sword that had been placed at the head of the bed in her hand, and her qi was in a state of explosion at any time.

When she looked back at the painting again, she suddenly found that the boots that had been worn on the girl's feet had disappeared, and in the gray shadow behind the girl, a strange face with no nose but eyes and mouth had appeared.

The eyes and mouth of the new face were exactly the same as the previous handwriting, and the slightly open mouth seemed to be saying something to her.

This strange change made her scalp tingle slightly.

"Hallucinations?" She tried to touch the image of the face with her hand, and a touch that seemed to touch human flesh came from between her fingers.

"I !!!"

This strange touch made her withdraw her hand like lightning.

Even she was taken aback! The hairs on my body stand on end!

Without even thinking about it, she went straight to the next page and covered it!

But it turned out that the page was an enlarged version of the face, with wide open black eyes and a large mouth, opening and closing like a living thing.

A low murmur slowly came out of that mouth.

"I'm looking for ...... Looking for ......"

Freya's eyes widened, her scalp numb hand holding the book, her face as if it was arching a little bit out of the constraints of the paper, and her black eyes stared straight at her face.

She could even feel the force of the face trying to break free from the page.

“!!”

This feeling made her body tremble slightly, and layers of fine cold sweat appeared on her body, as if her thinking was also blocked!

"Looking for... I'm looking for... Looking for..."

Under the shadow illuminated by the white light stone, an inexplicable dangerous atmosphere seemed to press on her from all directions.

"What the hell!!"

Almost subconsciously, she quickly threw away the book in her hand, and her strong aura instantly burst out, and the air flow at the peak of the knight made the items in the entire room shake.

The book that she had thrown away had fallen to the ground, and it was moving, and half of the face had come out, still looking at her with wide eyes on the sideways, and the big open mouth curved in a mysterious arc.

A non-stop murmur came out of his mouth.

"Search, Search, Find, Find"

Seeing this terrifying picture, she didn't think about it, and the cross sword in her hand was pulled out directly with a bang, and it was nailed to the book that was still active.

"Ah!!h

The big mouth immediately let out a piercing howl, and the sound seemed to be extremely penetrating, and the crystal clock on the desk exploded in an instant, followed by the plates, and the glass of the window

And Freya's head was a huge roar.

I saw that behind the miserable face in the book, at the position of the stabbing sword, a large stream of black blood gushed out along the blade of the cross sword.

Immediately and quickly soaked the entire floor.

The sudden howl made her head dizzy, and then she immediately came to her senses again.

She sat up from the bed suddenly, and the red-covered book fell to the ground with a 'snap'.

Freya looked at the book on the ground in a daze, then looked around.

In the familiar dormitory, the cross sword was held tightly in her hand and did not pull it out, and a gap was revealed through the window to see that the sky had all darkened at some point, and a breeze blew in, making her feel cold.

Through the reflection of the window, she could see that her face was pale and pale, without a trace of blood, and her blue eyes were full of fear.

She subconsciously touched her cheeks, only to find that they were covered in cold sweat.

"What's going on?"

Slightly rejuvenated, she picked up the book that had fallen on the ground, and flipped to the last few pages, without a picture of distorted letters, a landscape of a girl riding a horse, and no strange face.

There is only a simple single line of small print in the middle:

Freya, congratulations on passing the test and welcome to the ranks of wizards.

Gently touching the text with her slightly wet fingers, she was a little stunned.

The text above is clearly in Hegel's font.

"This is the test...?"

She felt Hegel's intentions in a trance.

Becoming a knight requires excellent talent, and the legendary wizard must also need talent, but for now, she seems to be able to understand it.

Although she was still a little afraid of the strange test before, she found that she was becoming more and more yearning for the path of wizards.

Putting the books away and placing them on the table, she glanced at the crystal clock next to her, which showed that it was two o'clock in the morning.

"Eight hours..."

I didn't expect it to be so long? She touched her stomach.

When she came back from the library, she stayed in her dorm room and didn't even eat dinner, which made Freya feel a little hungry.

The college's cafeteria was closed a long time ago, and there weren't any 24-hour convenience stores here, so there was no food to eat at all.

"Forget it, let's sleep."

Just as she was thinking about going to breakfast again tomorrow after the night, a deliberate sound of footsteps came from outside the door and stood at her door.

After a while, a silver dagger reached in and lightly broke the door lock.
