Chapter 31: Manipulators

The various media outlets, Daniel's fans, and Philip behind the scenes are all paying close attention to Daniel's response.

But the C.A.A. did not issue a statement, and the Los Angeles Times, which has a good relationship with Daniel, did not respond to the report, and Daniel himself stayed at home, and his agent has been evasive, refusing to be questioned by all incoming media.

Daniel acquiesced?

Some tabloids have already made such headlines, and the larger ones can't stand it for long.

The first person to see Daniel's new blog post was his movie fan Sting, a college girl with plenty of time, and she spent more time on Daniel's personal blog, fan sites, and other gossip pages and forums these days than she used to, and as far as she knew, there were more than one or two people doing so.

Daniel's fans are eagerly awaiting news, and some of them have even begun to curse Kusa Damon as a seedless New Yorker, who cares nothing about the prestige of his clients and, more importantly, ignores the fans' voices.

Sting refreshed Daniel's blog directory, and the familiar interface suddenly became a little different, and she reacted immediately.

Daniel has updated his blog post!

Her hand holding the mouse was trembling, as if she wanted to witness something.

"Just for the fans who love me" - this is the title of the new blog post.

Under the title, there is not a single word.

There is only one four-panel comic.

The comics are simple and clear, yet vivid.

In the first cell, a man and a woman live next to each other, and the woman is thinking about dollars and flowers.

In the second cell, a lady stands by the door and knocks on the door.

In the third square, a third character appears, dressed in black, as if he were a squire of death. With money in one hand and flowers in the other, he was talking to the lady.

In the fourth and final section, the woman holds a large amount of dollars in her left hand, an empty black bucket in her right hand, and the door of the man opposite is jet black.

There is no more straightforward response.

Most fans don't need the so-called evidence, and they are not judges. As long as idols deny it, they will generally trust their idols very faithfully until the ironclad evidence appears.

This ironic cartoon was followed by an audio clip.

That's what Jones and Kusa got it.

Using some methods that Daniel didn't know, Cusa got a recording of Kinley Adams, in which Kinley flaunted herself as being very tight, even she was surprised to be tight, like a first-time girl, and another male voice teasingly asked her how Daniel was. He then said that he didn't like Daniel very much and didn't want to go into the same place with him. Jin Li may really want to slap in with this person, and she is eager to show that she has not had a relationship with Daniel, and the newspapers are full of nonsense, and someone has given her a little money and promises to increase her exposure.

At this end of the recording, according to Kusa, the men and women in the final audio did spend the night together and had a good time with each other.

Daniel asked who the man was, and Cusa refused to answer him.

But Andy's look more or less betrayed Cusa, and if Andy knew and he didn't, it means that nine times out of ten it is from the power of the so-called Damon family.

Clan?

Daniel has a hard time believing that there is a powerful family behind Kusa, who was just a young agent with potential before he met him.

However, he still didn't get to the bottom of it, and just refused their request to post the audio in his blog post.

This is part of the Jones plan.

As they discussed their strategy that day, Jones tried to convince Daniel and Kusa not to take a quiet approach, even though they had no intention of doing so.

She gave Daniel an idea.

First of all, I found a girl with the same voice as Kinley Adams to record a paragraph, of course, the words were fragmented, and then through guò editing and technical processing, the voice was distorted, and it sounded like Jinli's voice had changed a little because of the distortion.

They would then post the audio on Daniel's personal blog, and Jones would relay Daniel's statement in the Los Angeles Times, and would lash out at Entertainment Weekly for not having basic journalistic ethics and using false lies to deceive viewers. Jones will also play to her pen's strengths, and she will portray Daniel as a rare young man who has lived in a harsh environment since he was a child, but still maintains a kind, enterprising and good habits.

After this series of actions, the water will be muddy, and on the premise that no one can come up with real evidence, this kind of thing may be entangled for a few days, and no one will remember it again.

Then Daniel would be on his first talk show, ready to answer every question, and he would try to be a simple, kind, responsible person — in other words, he could become the new idol of young Americans.

If the talk show works well, then Daniel can also ensure that his image will not fall after reaping a wave of craze.

However, Daniel ultimately rejected Jones's offer.

The reason is very simple, how did this recording come about? Eavesdropping, stealing? Either way, it shouldn't have anything to do with the kind Daniel.

He chose to post a straightforward four-panel cartoon -- a money-hungry lady who, under the instructions of a wicked man, smear her neighbor -- is very straightforward indeed.

Then on a whim, Cusa contacted Fred, a website company.

Ever since Daniel's Internet popularity exploded, Kusa has always had a strong interest in the Internet. With Daniel hailed as the first superstar of the internet age, Kusa began to look for some professionals to analyze these things, which was his essential curiosity and sensitivity as a Duke graduate.

Fred, after graduating from a second-rate university, decided to launch his own website - he envisioned it to be an IMDB-like resource site, but one that would be broader and more instructive than IMDB. It was a grand idea - and so, he failed.

Just as Fred was about to look for a job at a big website, he was contacted by a technician from the Cusaton guòCAA.

Fred jumped for excitement when he heard that Kusa wanted to hire him for the time being to collect and analyze the network status of celebrity fans, he loved the job, and he didn't want to just write boring soulless code.

Daniel, of course, knew about Fred's existence, but they really hadn't met.

This time, Daniel suddenly wanted to meet Fred because he felt that Fred seemed to have achieved something - in order to deal with fans of various stars, he registered a lot of users, and then used these users to participate and even lead the conversation.

It has to be said that Fred is very talented in this line of work.

Daniel simply told him the idea of "brushing popularity", how to make a topic popular on the Internet, which in China more than ten years later, any star chaser can say a few words to him. It is nothing more than that the topic name itself should be attractive enough, followed by a leader, and then it should touch the excitement of ordinary people. The most important thing is to use the east wind, you can completely get a popular person to connect with your topic, so that their fans will automatically spread the information for you.

Fred's mind opened up far beyond Daniel's imagination.
