Chapter 793: A Sad Tour

The Toyokan is a new pavilion opened in Japan in 1968, and it mainly displays artifacts from Egypt, West Asia, Southeast Asia, China, Korea, and the Western Regions of ancient China.

At the beginning, it was still twisted and pinched, but in fact, the origin of many of the exhibits in it is self-evident, they were all looted by the Japanese from China, Korea and other places during World War II.

But at that time, China was closing itself off, North Korea was not in the mood, and South Korea was still looking up to Japan, which had already begun to take off.

Several other countries did not react much to Japan's actions, which is why Japan opened such a pavilion.

Later, some of them were exhibited one after another, and their trophies were exhibited one after another, although China, South Korea, and North Korea all asked Japan to return the cultural relics, but the Japanese economy at that time could be said to be in full swing, and it was the most glorious time.

Later, he simply had a cheeky face and exhibited it generously.

Especially in recent years, they have not been able to face to the extreme, because the relationship with China has become more and more stiff, and they have become more and more faceless, constantly taking out the cultural relics that they have stolen from China in the past and displaying them, once to provoke the nerves of the Chinese.

Of course, our side is not angry, and we have not been able to get angry with the Japanese, so we can only watch the provocations of others.

The pavilion has a total of 10 exhibition rooms, five of which are dedicated to Chinese artifacts.

And these cultural relics can be said to make us Chinese blush when we see it ourselves, because there are many things. We don't have any of them.

For example, stone tools from the prehistoric era of China. Painted pottery. Oracle bone inscriptions and bronzes from the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties, pottery and portrait stones from the Han Dynasty, Buddha statues from the stone tools of the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, gold and silver ware and Tang Sancai from the Tang Dynasty, porcelain from the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, calligraphy and paintings of celebrities. And so on, there are many things that are still rated by the Japanese as their own national treasures, such things, on the one hand, make people cry and laugh, on the other hand, and on the other hand, make the Chinese feel extremely sad.

In addition, outside the exhibition hall, there are ancient buildings such as the Black Gate, the school warehouse, and other ancient buildings that were relocated from China by the Japanese, as well as sarcophagi dug up from the tombs of ancient Chinese celebrities. Stone pillars, stone beasts. Stone statues and so on.

When any Chinese sees these treasures created by the ancient Chinese, on the one hand, they will feel extremely proud, and on the other hand, they will feel extremely sad.

These are all treasures created by our ancient Chinese, but we don't have these things in China, but now they appear in Japan.

If these things were brought to Japan by these Japanese devils through legitimate channels, we would not have anything to say, but these things, but these Japanese devils were forcibly taken from us through war in the past, but any educated and conscientious Chinese will feel extremely uncomfortable and sad when they think of that period of the past.

Standing in front of the door of this pavilion, Jin Muchen's heart was not very comfortable, but after taking a deep breath at the end, he still followed Belinda and Jesse into this pavilion.

Anyway, these things, in a few days, will be their own, so this time you have to step on the point quite carefully, otherwise when you take action in a few days, you will regret it if you accidentally go wrong.

Entering the exhibition hall, Belinda and Jesse started from the beginning, looking at the collections, the first few exhibition halls, mainly exhibiting Egypt, or Southeast Asia, and West Asia.

To be honest, how thick the sweep was when I went to the British Museum, these things on display at the Tokyo National Museum could not arouse Jin Muchen's interest at all.

You must know that he is in the British Museum, but he has even seen the mummy of the oldest pharaoh in Egypt, not to mention the ancient relics of Egypt that the Japanese have looted?

These cultural relics can no longer be in Jin Muchen's eyes at all, if you want to say that the British looted in Egypt, it is much more ruthless than the Japanese, and the British were even more shameless than the Japanese back then.

It is not an exaggeration to describe it as scraping three feet from the ground, they are blatantly robbing tombs in Egypt, and they are all in the name of archaeology and scientific research, but they have caused enough harm to the ancient tombs of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs.

Most of the treasures left by the ancient Egyptian royal family were looted by the British, and even if Japan collected some, it was just a cold scrap that the British looked down on.

These rags, Jin Muchen can't look at them.

Next, the exhibits of the Southeast Asia Pavilion, Jin Muchen was even more disdainful, a place like Southeast Asia, before the European colonizers invaded, that place did not even form the concept of a country and a nation.

Even if there are a few kingdoms established by sultans, they are basically similar to primitive tribes, so what can such a place be famous for?

In Southeast Asia, the only one that can have some historical background is India, but it is a pity that almost all the ancient cultural relics produced in India have been covered by the British.

Even if the Japanese wanted to, they didn't have much of a chance.

Until World War II, the Japanese brutally abused the British in Southeast Asia, and when the British retreated, they did not give up the good things they looted in Southeast Asia.

In the end, these things became trophies of the Japanese, and after the end of the war, the Japanese kept them hidden and tucked away, and did not return them to the British, and later became the exhibits in this exhibition hall.

Of course, because they are afraid of the British retribution, they are not exhibiting anything good here, the top one is what, Burma, Cambodia, Thailand and other regions of the Buddha statues, but the color is very average.

So these things are not good-looking, and Jin Muchen doesn't plan to waste them on these things.

Soon he walked through this exhibition hall, and then the exhibition hall in West Asia, but like the Egyptian exhibition hall before, the things in this West Asian exhibition hall are also of average quality.

After all, until the outbreak of World War II, that place was the sphere of influence of the British, and even if there were any good things produced, they were all trophies of the British.

So Jin Muchen also flashed here, and went straight to the back five exhibition halls, the main cultural relics on display here are all cultural relics taken away from China by the Japanese during the invasion of China.

It is arguably one of the best areas of the Tokyo National Museum, and many archaeologists have visited the Tokyo National Museum before.

However, archaeologists from both the West and the East will say a word after visiting the Tokyo National Museum.

There are only two precious items in the Tokyo National Museum, one is Japanese antiques and the other is Chinese antiques.

This shows the importance of Chinese antiques to the Tokyo National Museum.

This museum claims that they have a collection of more than 100,000 Chinese national treasures, but as long as someone who cares about it can roughly estimate it, they can know that the Japanese must be modest, and their collection of Chinese national treasures must be at least five to ten times the number they quoted.

Moreover, although the number of Chinese cultural relics collected by the Tokyo National Museum does not seem to be much more than that of some large and medium-sized museums in China, if you really want to count them according to quality.

I am afraid that many people will come to a frustrating result, that is, in fact, most of these Chinese cultural relics collected by the Japanese are of higher quality than those collected by Chinese museums.

This is the most difficult place for the Chinese archaeological community to accept.

Even now, due to some political and economic reasons, the Chinese government has always avoided mentioning the sad past in public, but these archaeologists have always been unwilling to forgive the crimes committed by the Japanese in China.

After all, the Japanese have snatched too much from China!

Jin Muchen walked into the China Pavilion, and the first thing he entered was the exhibition hall displaying the painted pottery of China's prehistoric civilization, stone statues, and pottery and stone tools from the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties.

There are many things in this exhibition hall that Jin Muchen has never heard of, such as the faience jug in the prehistoric era.

Although it is not a good product, it is a cultural relic that has been repaired, but traces of colorful patterns can indeed be seen on this jug, which makes Jin Muchen feel very surprised.

You must know that there is a historical record of history in China, which is more than 3,000 years, the earliest is from Dayu to control the water, and then to the later Xia, Shang and Zhou.

Before that, our country was actually still in the age of ignorance, but at that time, we were already able to produce clay pots with colorful patterns, so why not be shocking?

You must know that at that time, Europeans were just a group of apes who had just come down from a tree.

And at that time, we already had civilization, how can this not make people proud.

It's a pity that the artifacts that can corroborate that period of history were actually stolen by the Japanese and stored in their museums, which is really uncomfortable.

There is also a pig-shaped jade shovel in the Liangzhu culture period, as well as the gods and beasts at that time, etc., looking at these jades, Jin Muchen was silent for a while, if these things are put in China, they are all treasures that can prove a historical era, Liangzhu culture, that is a famous cultural site in the Taihu Lake period from 5300 to 4000 years ago.

But now in China, our own collection is very small, so we can only go to the Hongshan culture, to and from the famous source of the Yellow River to rely on, this is not all forced by these Japanese. (To be continued.) )
