Chapter 237: Embarrassment
"It's too much, everybody is talking, he's here to punish Ravenclaw!" Edward complained.
After Percy turned to leave, Eren secretly stretched out his wand, and a circle of light attached to Percy's back, "HB"!
"Head Boy? Everyone knows that he's the president of the boys' student council. β
The Ravenclaw who was a little farther away said puzzled.
Michael, who was on the side, scoffed, "Humungous Bighead, the big head." You're there, Alan!"
Obviously, it wasn't just Michael who understood this, as there was an irrepressible laugh coming from the sleeping bags around Percy as he walked past.
"Quiet, quiet!" Percy reprimanded, holding a shelf.
The candles have all been extinguished.
Only the silver ghosts glowed slightly, floating around and talking solemnly to the prefects.
The enchanted ceiling looks like the sky outside, dotted with stars.
Under such a ceiling, listening to the whispers still ringing in the auditorium, Alan felt as if he was sleeping in the breeze outside.
After a while, Professor Flitwick arrived in the auditorium to check if everyone was okay.
At the sight of Ellen and Penelope, Professor Flitwick let out a visibly long breath.
Without asking Ellen and Penelope, he dutifully patrolled the auditorium for a week before leaving.
Every hour, a teacher appears in the auditorium to see if everything is okay.
At about three o'clock in the morning, many of the students finally fell asleep, and Professor Dumbledore walked in.
The deaf and clear-eyed Alan immediately woke up from his half-asleep sleep.
Alan looked at Professor Dumbledore, who sought out Percy and inquired about the Great Hall.
The door to the auditorium creaked open again, and more footsteps were heard.
"Headmaster?" Professor Snape, "searched the entire fourth floor. He's not there. Filch had also visited the basement classroom, but there was none. β
"Where's the Astronomical Tower, where is Professor Trelawney's room, where is the Owl Shed?"
"I've searched ......"
"Good, Severus. I also expected Blake to stay here. β
"Have you ever wondered how he got in, Professor?" Snape asked.
"There are many ideas, Severus, but all of them are equally untenable. β
Next, Professor Snape's voice was so inaudible that even Alan couldn't hear it clearly.
But from the tremor on his face, Alan could guess the anger in his heart at this time.
Alan knew that he must be suspicious of Professor Lupin, believing that it was Professor Lupin who brought Sirius Black to Hogwarts.
"I don't believe there's a single person in this castle who could help Blake break in. Dumbledore raised his voice, his tone making it clear that the topic was over, and Snape said no more.
"I'll have to go down and find those Dementors," Dumbledore said, "I said I'd let them know when we're done." β
"Didn't they come to help, sir?" said Percy.
"Oh, yes," Dumbledore said coldly, "but as long as I'm headmaster, I'm afraid no Dementor will be able to cross the threshold of this castle." β
Percy looked a little embarrassed.
Dumbledore left the Great Hall, walking quickly and quietly.
Snape stood for a moment, staring at the headmaster's back with a deep grudge on his face. Then, he also left.
For the next few days, there was only one topic of conversation in the whole school, and that was Sirius Black.
Theories about how he managed to break into the castle are getting more and more bizarre.
Apparitions, flying in, disguised ...... Hufflepuff's Hannah Abbott had the most bizarre idea β that Blake would turn into a flowering bush.
But no one guessed that Sirius was an illegitimate Animagus.
Perhaps Professor Lupin could have guessed.
But the reappearance of the Defence Against the Dark Arts class stunned the Ravenclaws.
Not Professor Lupin β but Snape the Terrible.
"Professor Lupin has left no record of what you've learnedβso can anyone tell me what you've learned?" Professor Snape scanned the room, his eyes dangerous.
All the eyes of the little wizards were on Alan.
Alan stiffened his hand and raised his hand, knowing that no matter what he said, Professor Snape would be going to criticize Professor Lupin to the fullest.
Professor Snape's eyes narrowed, "Very well, Alan, please tell me what you have in your empty heads." β
"Sir, we learned about the Boggart, the Red Hat, the Kaba, and the Grindy Lowe. He is now preparing to challenge a magical creature with a higher rating from the Ministry of Magic. β
Since Alan opened his mouth, he would not be easily interrupted, and he ignored Professor Snape's dangerous eyes and spoke aloud about the lessons that Professor Lupin had taught.
To be sure, Professor Lupin was a good teacher.
"It seems that Professor Lupin is not burdening you with anything - I think the first-year students should be able to deal with the Red Hat and Grindy Lowe. Today we're going to discuss-"
All Ravenclaw watched curiously as he flipped through his textbook to the last chapter.
- Werewolf. Professor Snape said.
Now, everybody has turned to page 394. He glanced at the shocked class again, "Everyone!
While it was not understood why Professor Snape was doing this, the clever Ravenclaw realized that it must have been due to a personal vendetta between Professor Snape and Professor Lupin.
In front of the menacing Professor Snape, all the Ravenclaws turned to the werewolf chapter and wisely remained silent.
Apparently, Professor Snape's anger was so caught in the heat of this that he had everyone copy notes about werewolves from books and then walk back and forth between their desks.
This kind of homework is not difficult for Allen, but Allen's mind is not on these boring excerpts.
He was thinking about whether to tell Professor Lupin about Sirius Black in its entirety.
But if the reckless Blake really has a helper-
Alan felt that he could not go straight like this, and that Lupin could not dictate Sirius Black's actions at all.
Tell him that it won't help, but it may make things bigger and make Alan lose the opportunity.
Eventually, Alan dismissed the idea.
The bell rang at last, but Professor Snape wouldn't let them go.
"Each person wrote a paper and gave it to me on how to identify and kill werewolves. I ask you to fill two rolls of parchment on this subject and turn them in on Monday morning. β
The Ravenclaws nodded reluctantly.
"I've heard that Ravenclaw's new bulletin board is amazing, so Alan Harris, it's up to you to post my pick of great papers on the bulletin board. Professor Snape continued.
What else could Allen say, nodding in response.
