**************

In the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, there are a total of ten exhibition halls about Chinese cultural relics in the Oriental Department on the second floor of the west side, and Jin Muchen patronizes only the most elite one.

In the exhibition hall next to this most elite exhibition hall, there are more than 200 ancient painting scrolls of the Song Dynasty, more than 200 famous paintings of the Yuan Dynasty, more than 8,000 famous paintings of the Ming Dynasty, and more than 12,000 ancient paintings of the Qing Dynasty.

The number of these ancient paintings can definitely be described as vast, and many of them have certain artistic value, but when it comes to historical value, they can't be compared with those looted by Jin Muchen at all.

Of course, this is mainly related to these paintings, most of which were painted by some ordinary painters of those eras, and the painters are not very famous, and the value of the paintings, of course, is impossible to talk about.

Although it can be regarded as a masterpiece of those eras, Jin Muchen also wanted to take all those paintings away, but considering the influence of the back, Jin Muchen finally gave up the idea of taking all these paintings away.

After all, he was only one person, plus Jesse who broke into the museum with him, that is, two people, and after they left, the other party found out that the place had been stolen, and if they found that the artifacts had been looted.

There will definitely be people who wonder how only two people can loot the tens of thousands of ancient paintings here, and when the time comes, it will attract the pursuit of the 51st District of the United States, and the treatment of aliens, Jin Muchen does not want to enjoy it.

After being accidentally caught, he would be taken back to slices and study, so although he really wanted to take all those ancient paintings away, he still had to force out this idea.

But you can't take it all away. But it didn't prevent him from collecting some other fine products to take away.

For example, the fine antiques in the back few exhibition halls. These antiques about the Chinese Buddhist heritage. It is also a source of pride in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, but it also has great artistic and historical value.

For example, in the No. 56 exhibition hall next to it, there is a 5-piece set of fine Buddhist art masterpieces!

The first is the Huangxing-style statue, the scientific name of this thing should actually be called, Maitreya Bodhisattva, which is a Buddhist antiquity unearthed in Shaanxi # Xixing @ Ping County before the liberation.

This statue of Maitreya Bodhisattva is exquisitely carved, with a corrugated bun, plump cheeks, and a large bait hanging from the shoulders. The shoulder-length coat has tuxtail-shaped folds and patterns at the end, which is very similar to a modern tuxedo.

The whole body is backlit, the innermost layer is embossed lotus petals, the middle layer is two weeks round light Buddha, and the outermost layer is decorated with a dynamic flame pattern that jumps endlessly.

This statue can be called a masterpiece of Buddhist art that is deeply influenced by the exotic Gandhara statue fashion and blends the local characteristics of Guanzhong!

It is a fine collection of Huangxing-style statues in Boston, which is not only widely sought after by antique lovers, but also many Buddhist believers are eager for this statue and are willing to spend a lot of money for him. It's a pity that this statue is not for sale at the Boston Museum.

But now, it's goodbye to Jin Muchen. The treasure worth millions of dollars was smashed by Jin Muchen's hammer and smashed the glass shield, and then directly thrown into the purple jade space......

The second is the end of the altar, called the altar, but in fact it is the Sui Dynasty gold and bronze altar three tripod armor, the Fan statue!

Unearthed in He@Beizhao@zhou, it was later taken away by the Japanese during the war, and was hidden in Japan, and was sold to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston by the Japanese in 1922.

The statue of Fan's is 76.5 centimeters high, although the gilt has fallen off, but the whole is well preserved, and it was cast in the thirteenth year of the emperor, that is, in 593 AD.

There is a Buddha, two Bodhisattvas, two sounds, two Yuanjue, two Lux a shop nine statues, because this statue was collected by the end of the Qing Dynasty, so those old scholars of European and American archaeology, deliberately called this statue of a shop of several statues, under the Buddha bed called "the altar of the end side".

The contrast between the Buddha statue itself and the rich and gorgeous headlight, Sumeru seat and back screen, the simplicity of the Buddha statue's right shoulder coat and the Bodhisattva's treasures, shawls, and ornaments, especially the contrast between the dancing flames of the head light and the serene and peaceful, slightly smiling face of the Buddha statue, all show the extraordinary peace of mind that Amitabha Buddha has obtained through his profound wisdom.

Even Jin Muchen, a layman who knows nothing about Buddhism, will be infected by that wonderful inner peace after watching this Buddha's facial statue, and he will be a great Buddhist dharma.

The whole statue is equivalent to a miniature large temple hall, and the architectural shape of the statue is tall and elegant, especially the rising arc formed by the contour of the canopy of the two linden trees, which is sometimes reminiscent of the vault of a European Gothic church.

This altar, if it is put on the market, will definitely cause the madness of Buddhist believers, even a layman like Jin Muchen can be infected by the majesty of this Buddha statue, not to mention those believers?

So Jin Muchen estimated that this altar must be worth at least tens of millions of dollars, at this time, of course, there is no need to be polite, no need to spend a penny, as long as a hammer goes down and smashes the glass shield, this treasure will belong to him.

The third treasure is the Sui Dynasty painted stone statue of the Bodhisattva, which is the damn Japanese devil Hayasaki Terrier Yoshi in 1909 from Shaanxi @ Xi'an @ Ancient Temple, stolen up to 249 cm of large Sui Dynasty stone statue of Guanyin.

Now it's one of the treasures of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston!

This kind of system zuò in the Zhou Sui period under the lotus platform stone seat, on which there may be a vow, on the seat four corners or two corners of the stone lion placed in the standing posture of the Bodhisattva statue, there are only more than 10 surviving at present.

However, in the United States alone, there are four statues, in the Minneapolis Art Center in the United States, there are the statues of the Northern Zhou Dynasty and the fifth year, that is, in 570 AD, the statue of the Chengguo Township, the first year of the Kaihuang in the Detroit Art Center in the United States, the statue of Che Changru, the statue of the Sui Dynasty standing Bodhisattva in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the statue of the Bodhisattva in Boston, a total of four.

The rest are in Japan, as well as other European and American museums, and there are only four left in the country, after the liberation of Shaanxi @ West and several more were unearthed, but in addition to the three unearthed in 1992 may be the Zhou Sui royal cast of the Bodhisattva statue, other such as the statue now in the West @'an, its artistic charm is slightly inferior to the loss of overseas!

Among these diaspora statues, the statue of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, has the highest artistic achievement!

Because there are several common problems in the shape of Buddha statues in the Sui Dynasty, such as large heads and small bodies, and imbalance of proportions; Flat plate upright, rigid posture; The face is dull, the expression is dull, etc.

And the above shortcomings of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, this statue can not be all, this statue has well-proportioned flesh and bones, a graceful posture, and a graceful temperament, which can definitely be regarded as a peerless masterpiece of Buddhist statues of the Sui generation!

Unlike the previous two Buddhist relics, this statue is not enclosed in a glass cover, because this guy is taller than Yao Giant, and his weight is much heavier than Yao Giant.

It's a pity that today they were unlucky and bumped into Jin Muchen, who had a purple jade space, but with a wave of his hand, this statue disappeared into his purple jade space.

The fourth Buddhist holy relic is the relief of the Seven Treasures of Guangzhai Temple!

Speaking of this, it is the most heart-wrenching for Jin Muchen, because this relief was originally a series, but now most of the boutiques have been collected by the little Japanese devils, of course, the means are absolutely invisible.

Tang Yifeng two years in 677 A.D., Daming Palace Nanguang Mansion vineyard unearthed relics 10,000 pieces, believe in Buddhism Gaozong Longyan Dayue, so the construction of Guangzhai Temple, Chang'an three years AD 703, the Great Zhou Emperor Wu Zeguang Mansion Temple built up to 100 feet of seven treasure pavilion to store and support relics, Guangzhai Temple then became a famous temple in Xijing.

In the Ming Dynasty, some people moved the old relics of Guangzhai Temple, which had long been abandoned, and more than 30 high-relief statue niches inlaid on the wall of Qibaotai into the Baoqing Temple in the south of the city, which is now the west end of the gate street of West @ Anshuyuan.

In 1723 A.D., the first year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty, someone funded the repair of Baoqing Temple, and embedded part of the relief statue niche into the wall of the brick tower to preserve, the world called the statue niche of Baoqing Temple, Mr. Liang Sicheng praised it as "the representative work of Chinese carving in the early Tang Dynasty".

In 1893, the nineteenth year of Guangxu, it was the damned Hawasaki Terrier who discovered this batch of exquisite Tang Dynasty reliefs, and then began to steal one after another, and in the thirty-second year of Guangxu, that is, in 1906, at least 25 relief niches were stolen and sold overseas.

These resold relief niches can be divided into two types in terms of statue themes: one is a shop of three statues composed of one Buddha and two Bodhisattvas, which are mostly dated and concentrated in the Tokyo National Museum in Japan; The other type is the single 11-sided Kannon standing statue, which currently has about 7 statues, which are in the collections of the Japan Agency for Cultural Affairs, the Tokyo National Museum, the Hosokawa Family Eiei Bunko, the Nezu Museum of Art in Tokyo, and the Friel Museum of Art in Washington, D.C., USA.

And this side of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, is the eleven Guanyin shrine statue of Qibaotai, which is also a rare boutique.

Jin Muchen, who was also cheap this time, was swept up by him with a hammer of effort.

The fifth piece is the Song Dynasty clip Arhat head, which is to meet the needs of the grand statue ceremony during the Buddhist festival, so there is the creation of the clip statue, this kind of light and easy to carry to win the reborn Buddha statue is said to have been founded in the Eastern Jin Dynasty artist Dai Kui.

However, because of the calamities of swords, soldiers, water and fire, the Buddha statue between the Jin and Sui Dynasty has long been gone, and now it does not exist in the world at all.

The collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, is a portrait of an Arhat belonging to the Song Dynasty, and it is also one of the best masterpieces, with deep wrinkles, sunken eye sockets, a fluttering nose, prominent cheekbones, and an open mouth.

The charm is vivid and expressive, containing the chest of the statue craftsman, and the attitude of this Arhat who wants to speak and stop is just in line with the philosophical purpose of Xiangzong of "wanting to argue and forget to speak", and it is one of the best in the Arhat head.
