Chapter 181: The Nile Monster

Just as Alan and Ron were standing on their balcony admiring the view of the Nile, they noticed something unusual.

The weather outside was so hot, and there was a group of people by the river, surrounded by the scorching sun!

"Let's go down and have a look. Alan proposed.

Arone, who was intrigued, immediately nodded in agreement.

They walked to the river, and it turned out that the group was gathered around a large sand pit.

An Egyptian in a white robe and a red hat is standing next to a sand pit, gesturing.

He was shouting orders in his voice, his face flushed and dripping with sweat, and he seemed to be angry about something.

Several barefoot young men stood beside him with shovels and pickaxes.

"As I said, I said a long time ago, you can't come to the river alone at night! Why don't you obey? Don't dare to tell us, but bury the body in the sand pit! Stupid!" said the white-robed man, pointing to the sand pit.

Alan and Ron looked at the bunker, and Ron couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, a rotting animal carcass had been dug out, and only a small part was buried in the ground.

"What is this?" Ron asked Alan quietly.

Alan endured the discomfort in his heart, looked at it a few times, and confirmed: "This is a donkey!"

One of the main means of transportation for the Egyptians was the donkey.

"How did you die here?" Ron asked again.

"Listen to what they have to say. "Of course Alan doesn't know!

People came in twos and threes from the direction of the village, and there were more people around the bunker, and they stood in a clumped group.

This severely affected the excavation work, especially the children who were drilling around.

In the crowd, the white-robed man raised his voice, "Stand back!"

He seemed to have a lot of authority in the group, and everyone backed away convincingly.

"Nasser, what the hell is going on?" someone in the crowd asked.

"It's a water monster, the Nile monster has reappeared! Nasser shouted, pointing to the corpses in the pit.

"Stupid Hassan encountered a water monster, but luckily he escaped, at the cost of losing his donkey!"

Nasser pointed to a dark-skinned, skinny man holding a shovel to the side.

"He actually concealed the truth about the reappearance of the water monster because he was afraid of being tabooed by the villagers! If Saleh hadn't found out, I don't know how many people would have been killed!" Nasser was furious.

Hassan stood to the side with his head downcast.

"Again, try not to go to the lake at night!

Those who learned the truth retreated, leaving only the first few men, who continued to deal with the rotting donkey in the bunker.

"Is it really a water monster?" Ron was a little curious.

"I'm not sure either, after all, it's rotting so fast. Alan replied.

There is an aboriginal in the village who is very business-minded.

Seeing so many people gathered together, they even pushed the drink cart out to sell.

Alan and Ron also came over, and it turned out to be watermelon juice and apple juice, as well as some beer.

Alan bought some of everything, and Ron and Ron took the beer back to the villa.

These drinks are a huge hit. Mr. Weasley also conjured up a lot of ice cubes to keep the drinks cold.

Alan and Ron tell everyone what happened at the lake.

"Coward, you're a wizard, what's there to be afraid of. George teased Ron.

"Of course I'm not afraid, it's just a reminder to be safe. Ron defended himself.

The Weasley brothers laughed and ran away.

"In any case, we try not to go out at night. Mr. Weasley admonished, keeping his eyes on the twin brothers until they both nodded in agreement.

In the evening, Ron and Alan talk about what they know about the pyramids, the origin of the mummies, and more.

In fact, it was Allen who was talking, and Ron was listening, asking questions from time to time.

"Osiris's body was broken into fourteen pieces, and he can still be resurrected?" Ron asked in disbelief.

"Well, there are people who have completely lost their bodies, whose souls are broken into seven or eight pieces, and who are also looking for a chance at resurrection. Alan was very calm and thought of the mystery man.

Just then, Alan heard footsteps coming from the door.

In the bright moonlight, Alan saw the doorknob spin - someone was about to open the door.

Alan jumped to his feet and pointed his wand at the door.

The doorknob turned open. The door creaked open. Two tall, blurred shadows stood in the doorway.

Ron was startled.

When the two shadows staggered into the room, Alan could not help but hold his breath in shock. Even in the dim light, he could tell what it was - "It's a mummy!"

In the haze, the mummy staggered into the living room, arms stretched forward, as if trying to grab Ron.

Ron's mouth was wide open, and he looked like he wanted to scream, but he couldn't make any sound.

Alan drew his wand and aimed it at the mummy, and just as he was about to cast a spell, the mummy made a familiar sound.

"Don't attack, it's us!" It's George and Fred!

Ron angrily threw the pillow out of the bed, hit George's bandaged chest, and bounced out again.

Fred and George burst into laughter, apparently they thought it was funny.

"Didn't you say you're not a coward?" George's words irritated Ron.

"I'm not a coward! it's just that you look horrible!" Ron was furious, he didn't think it was funny at all!

"I told him he'd be scared!" Fred said to George.

"I know it's you, and as soon as you come in, I'll recognize you!" Ron defended himself.

"You should really look at your face, you look frightened!" George said aloud, and began to laugh again.

Ron muttered, looking unhappy.

"Okay, don't act like a little girl. Hurry up and help us rip these things off. Fred instructed Ron.

Alan pointed with his wand, and the straps on their bodies fell off automatically, curling themselves into a ball.

"Ron, you say you're not a coward, do you dare to go for a walk by the river?" George rolled his eyes and came up with another idea.

"Just wait!" Ron stood up angrily.

Alan hurriedly followed, something did happen by the river, and Ron himself was too dangerous.

The Nile was extremely quiet at night, but in Ron's view, there were many dangers hidden beneath this quiet, and it was necessary to be prepared.

"Alan, look!" Ron suddenly pointed to the middle of the river. Looking in the direction Ron pointed, a horse appeared in the middle of the lake, with a very broad mane, swimming freely in the lake.
