Chapter 053: The Fat Lady is Attacked
The atmosphere of the dinner was pleasant, except that when the ghosts were emerging from the walls and tables for a kind of parade and gliding performance, a huge snake head suddenly emerged from the professor's chair, and the whole auditorium fell silent.
[There are intruders!] He's attacking the fat lady! γ
Snape and Catherine jumped from their seats and immediately rushed to the door of the Great Hall, just before Harry stood up in shock.
"What's going on?" Dumbledore hurriedly got up and asked, but Snape and Catherine had already run out of the Great Hall, and he could only look at Harry.
"Fat lady!" Harry exclaimed, "There's an intruder attacking her!" β
"Boom!" There was an immediate chaotic shout and screaming in the auditorium, and everyone stood up and rushed to the door of the auditorium.
"Quiet!" Dumbledore's voice suddenly resounded throughout the Great Hall, "All the students are back in their seats, and the ghosts, professors, student council presidents, and prefects are in charge of maintaining order!" β
The auditorium fell silent again, and everyone looked at each other, wondering whether they should do it or not. But Dumbledore ignored the students and instead gave a new order as he bypassed the professorship.
"Minerva! Remus! Pomona! Felius! The four of you come with me! With that, Dumbledore walked briskly through the crowd, followed by the four professors who had been named.
Percy, Penelope, Cedric, and Ixesi glanced at each other, and then followed the passage opened by the professor to each end of the auditorium to prevent disobedient students from sneaking out.
Seeing that the door was guarded by the four seniors and seniors who had been quite prestigious in recent years, the students had to honestly return to their seats, the professors sat down again to chat, and the ghosts floated around to make their own speeches, and the auditorium suddenly became noisy again.
"Who is the intruder?"
"It's Sirius. Blake? β
"How the hell did he get in?"
"Why did he storm the Gryffindor Tower?"
"Didn't he know that everyone was in the auditorium at this time?"
"What happened to that snake head just now?"
"Why do Snape and Catherine know what it's talking about?"
Everyone was talking, and the SG team also took out the address book, hoping to get first-hand information, but there was no movement for a long time.
When Catherine rushed out of the auditorium. She immediately pulled out a map of the live spots, and Snape followed him as soon as he heard the phrase "I swear I didn't do a good job!" After glancing at the four unusually familiar and piercing nicknames, his face suddenly became extremely ugly.
"Where did it come from?" Snape asked, stunned by what was shown on the map.
"Fred and George took it from Filch." Catherine casually replied and called out Sirius's full name, and immediately a small black dot at the entrance to the Gryffindor Tower began to glow red.
Not only did it not return, but it was indeed alarmed, the little black dot was leaving the Gryffindor Tower and entering a dark passage that led to the first floor.
"It's called self-inflicted iniquity, and you can't live!" Snape cursed, and rushed to the exit of the tunnel. Catherine folded the map and followed.
Once at their destination, the two of them cast an illusion spell on themselves, and Catherine cast an additional scent-removing spell and a gust of wind that blew away all the remaining scents.
As soon as they were ready, the exit of the secret passage was opened, and the head of a large black dog poked out vigilantly and sniffed around.
Snape thought it was Sirius' pet and didn't do anything. In order not to alarm her target, Catherine directly threw a silent petrification charm and a bondage charm, and tightly tied up the big black dog that had turned into a sculpture.
"Why alarm him?" Snape asked angrily as he lifted the illusion spell and tried to rush into the tunnel.
"He's already here." Catherine shoved the live map into Snape's hand. Also canceled the illusion spell, squatted down to check the rope on the black dog's body.
Snape glanced at the black dot on the map, then at the big black dog next to Catherine, and then asked in shock, "He's Animagus!" β
"There's also an Animagus in the Gryffindor Tower." Catherine didn't answer directly, but she gave Snape plenty of hints.
Snape hurriedly opened the map. Soon a person's name was found in the empty tower. "Peter Pettigrew! How is this possible! Didn't he blow up and kill him? The Potions Professor stared at the big black dog in shock.
"Now let's just ask! Dobby! Catherine stood up and called out to the house-elves who were free to move around Hogwarts, "Bring me the pet house I gave to Ron, and don't let Blob escape." β
Dobby answered. At the same time, there was a sound of footsteps coming from the direction of the Great Hall, and Snape hurriedly put away the map in his hand, and then the figures of the five professors appeared on the other side of the hallway.
Seeing the expressionless Snape and Catherine, they couldn't help but feel dazed, but as soon as they saw the imprisoned big black dog, Lupin immediately let out an exclamation: "Big feet! He tried to rush over to take a look, but the Potions Professor suddenly threw a bolt of magic that forced him back into place.
"It's time for you to tell the truth!" Snape glared coldly at the fake good guy he never wanted to see, "Remus. Lupin! β
"I also want to know what the truth is?" Lupin's face was full of helplessness.
"Headmaster, we still lack a client." Catherine stopped the others from questioning.
Dumbledore was stunned for a moment, and with a wave of his wand, a silver phoenix immediately rushed out.
With a sudden explosion, Dobby appears in front of everyone with a pet house in his arms.
Catherine ignored the surprise and confusion of the others, and walked straight over to use her magic to open the roof of the pet house, and the sleepy Spotted was immediately awakened, and after seeing the other people through the window, it suddenly began to spin around, and clung to the wall to escape.
Seeing this, Lupin hurriedly raised his wand, but when he heard Catherine suddenly use her magic to throw the imprisoned black dog next to the pet house, Spotted was immediately frightened and fell off the wall.
"To avoid unnecessary misunderstandings!" Catherine took a few steps back, "Professor McGonagall, please help them get back to where they were!" β
"What!" The three deans exclaimed in an instant, and Dumbledore showed a look of sudden realization.
Before they could come to their senses, there was another sound of footsteps, and then they saw Madam Pomfrey and Harry.
"Minerva! Do it! Dumbledore sternly said, "We need to get to the bottom of what happened twelve years ago." β
Professor McGonagall was stunned for a moment before pointing her wand at the big dog, and a blue-white light flashed, and the black dog's head began to deform, followed by limbs, and the last man trembled like a skin-covered skeleton.
"Sirius. Black! Snape shouted angrily.
"Long time no see!" Sirius staggered to his feet with his yellow fangs, glanced at everyone around him in a complicated way, and finally stopped his gaze on Catherine.
"Professor McGonagall! Trouble the next one. Catherine ignored Sirius and said calmly.
Professor McGonagall's hand shook before pointing her wand at Spotted, who was still trying to escape over the wall, and the blue-white light flashed a few times before landing on it, and then with a loud "bang", the pet house exploded, and a very short man lay there with a frightened face.
His thin, pale hair was unkempt, and he had a large bald patch on the top of his head, and he looked like an obese man who had lost a lot of weight in a short period of time. His skin was dirty, almost as speckled as his fur, and his pointed nose and small, watery eyes had the characteristics of a mouse. He looked at everyone, breathing quickly and weakly.
"Peter Pettigrew!" Professor Flitwick screamed and sat down on the ground.
"Hello everyone!" Peter got up from the ground with a sharp throat and unusually nervousness, and he spun around quickly, seeing that there was not the slightest gap around him, before he looked at Catherine in a nutshell.
"What the hell is going on?" Harry was shocked and asked, "Why are they all Animagus?" β
"To accompany me!" Lupin explained with a wry smile, "When they found out what I was, they started teaching themselves Animagus!" I was so moved by their efforts that I didn't say anything about it. I'm sorry! Headmaster! I have betrayed your trust. β
"If you make a mistake, a light apology is useless, only practical actions can make up for the harm suffered by the other party." Catherine spoke suddenly, but her eyes didn't look at anyone, "Of course, for you Gryffindors, you may prefer remorse and self-condemnation. β
The faces of the five Gryffindors present, Lupin and Sirius, suddenly turned pale, Dumbledore's expression became extremely strange, Professor McGonagall looked nervously at Snape, and only Harry stared blankly at Peter.
"How did he survive?" Madam Pomfrey pointed her wand at Peter uneasily.
"He chopped off his finger before he turned into a rat and blew up a whole block! So everyone else thought he was dead. Sirius stared at Peter viciously, causing him to take two steps to the side nervously.
"I'm more curiousβ" Catherine waved her wand and threw a spark that scared Peter back before turning her gaze to him and Sirius, "why would a hero who survived death hide for 12 years as a mouse; And what about an acknowledged traitor who didn't do anything to the orphan of the object of his betrayal? β
Everyone looked at Catherine in amazement, wondering why she said this, except for Snape who asked thoughtfully, "Do you remember anything?" β
"Memories of my parents' accident to when I was abandoned." Catherine calmly took out two small crystal bottles from her pocket, "This is my homemade truism elixir, each bottle contains three drops. She used the Levitation Charm to send two bottles to Peter and Sirius. (To be continued......)
