Chapter 002: The Game

Catherine waited in place for half an hour, and found that there were no suspected Tonks people around, so she simply went to find a hotel, ate dinner, took a bath, and slept behind her ears, after all, it was already three o'clock in the afternoon when she left No. 17 Spider Tail Lane, and it was only because she was too nervous to play the game that the girl ignored the problem of food and accommodation.

So when Tonks finally regained her composure and used the apparition to return to Catherine's vicinity, she was disappointed to find that the girl was actually asleep, and she really didn't know what to do for a while, but fortunately, the Auror training made her a little more vigilant, and instead of staying with Catherine, she quickly left to find another place to stay, and by the way, she solved her stomach problem.

But Tonks really underestimated Catherine's vigilance, she didn't expect that as soon as she appeared around the girl, the girl was awakened, but she didn't move until Tonks left, then she rolled over and got out of bed and quietly followed, and finally even tracked her directly to where she was staying tonight, and sneaked into her bedroom while she was washing, and sprinkled some powder in her bed.

Tonks didn't notice that someone had invaded at all, and went to sleep after taking a shower, and immediately felt itching all over his body as soon as he fell asleep, and when he got up to check, he hurriedly took off all his clothes and rushed into the bathroom, and when she flushed off the powder and walked out of the bathroom, she was directly dumbfounded, because all the things in her room that could be used to cover her shame, including the sheets, were all gone.

Tonks was angry at first, then shocked, she couldn't imagine that if she and Catherine weren't playing a game, the girl would still just take away her clothes, and finally she couldn't help but rejoice that after her training, she finally developed a good habit of holding her wand anytime and anywhere, otherwise she would have to admit defeat and surrender now.

Tonks magically retrieved his spare clothes, and then the apparition left the place to find a place to stay. Catherine, who was waiting in the next room, felt the magic fluctuations of the apparition disappear, and then left the inn in the hallway, and then quietly left.

Catherine didn't go back to the hotel where she had stayed, because she had just taken Tonks's clothes, and she didn't want to be used the same trick against her, although the girl didn't think that the new Auror could think of a counterattack now, but there was nothing wrong with being careful.

In the middle of the night, Catherine went back to the hotel to check out and have breakfast by the way. Then hop on a coach and depart London for Weston-on-Sea.

Although Tonks used the apparition to get rid of the tracking, he could not sleep peacefully at all, and fell asleep close to the early hours of the morning, so naturally he overslept, and by the time she hurried to Catherine's vicinity, it was already close to noon.

Catherine saw through Tonks' disguise at first sight, but she didn't get up to "hunt" the other party, but just laughed at the lunch she had bought. He pushed in the direction of the new Auror, and then continued to lower his head to fill his stomach.

Tonks hesitated, but the protest of her stomach reminded her that she had to eat immediately, so she waited for a while. Finding that Catherine was still not moving further, she finally walked over, but she was still vigilant enough to check her surroundings to make sure that the girl had not set up an ambush.

The two were at a rest stop where a coach made a makeshift stop. Since it was lunchtime, there were a lot of Muggles eating around, and the table where Catherine was sitting was in the most popular position. The reason why no one else took the stage with her was because of the effect of the Confusion Charm.

At first, Tonks thought it was Catherine's own magic, but after checking it, she found that it was an accessory on the girl's clothes that worked, which made her a little puzzled, after all, the trace could only detect magic fluctuations, and it was impossible to determine whether the person who was casting the magic was the minor who carried it.

After the game started yesterday afternoon, Tonks took the time to contact her current boss, Kingsley. Shackle, who told her that the members of the relevant departments of the Ministry of Magic knew about her trip abroad with Catherine, but to her surprise, it was not Dumbledore or Snape who informed the Ministry, but Lupin.

Tonks later realized that Lupin was only brought forward because he was Sirius' partner, and he was Sirius's niece, and Catherine was Sirius's goddaughter, so as to avoid exposing Dumbledore's role in it.

However, even if the traces on Catherine's body were still working, the Ministry of Magic could not determine whether the person who performed the magic was her or the person accompanying her, so naturally it would not send a warning letter, and Tonks could not use it to determine whether the girl could use magic outside of school.

Tonks was absentmindedly eating her lunch as she thought about it, when suddenly, the knife and fork in her hand fell, and she lowered her head in bewilderment, and found that her hands were covered with yellow feathers, and she opened her mouth to say something quickly, but she only made a string of "chirping" bird calls, and she struggled to get up, but sadly found that her legs had turned into two slender claws, which made her completely unbalanced, and then she fell to the ground on her back.

The surrounding Muggles heard a loud noise, and followed the sound to find an oversized canary lying on the ground, kicking its paws in a panic, fluttering its wings, struggling to get up, and the people around immediately avoided in shock, but soon, curiosity overcame fear, and many people grabbed their cameras and ran over to take pictures.

Tonks was shocked and angry, fortunately, within a minute, she began to shed feathers on her body, and when the feathers fell off, her appearance was completely back to normal, but she didn't dare to stay any longer, and cast a phantom spell on herself as soon as possible.

As Tonks begins to deal with this unexpected finish, she suddenly sees Catherine studying two identical-looking pill bottles, and she glances over to find that one of them has a "W.C" label on the bottom.

"When did Fred and George 'buy' Dobby to mess with my stored potions?" Catherine muttered to herself with a puzzled face.

Tonks couldn't help but be scared, and she was glad that what Catherine had just added to her lunch was just a product of the Weasley twins' pranks, not a real potion.

But when Tonks thought about it, he found a whole bunch of questions: Is what Catherine said true? Did she really not mean to take the wrong one?

Tonks has a headache now, she found that the people of Slytherin are really not ordinary cunning, and the means are endless, even though she has graduated from Hogwarts and has received a few years of Auror training, but compared with Catherine, a third-year student, she suddenly found that she was actually the student who didn't understand anything, especially when she found out that the girl hadn't done her best at all, and was completely relaxed by playing games, she was even more ashamed.

But Tonks was able to pass the assessment and become an official Auror, relying on definitely more than her talent, so after dealing with the end of the rest stop, she immediately began to "escape" in earnest, Catherine saw this, naturally gave up the plan to continue to take the coach to Weston de Marina, and immediately got up and began to "hunt".

Catherine had just chased after her, and found that Tonks seemed to have figured out last night's doubts, and began to dodge Muggle surveillance equipment, even if she couldn't dodge, she would use magic to cause them to fail.

Tonks's "escape" at first was not fast, after all, she still had to solve the stomach problem, but when she found out that Catherine could actually find her, she immediately sped up her speed, and quickly checked herself in various ways, and finally she found that she was not being used at all, nor did she carry anything that was convenient for the girl to track, which couldn't help but make her confused.

Tonks decides to take a risk to approach Catherine, knowing that she must find out what the girl is tracking or else she will have to apparition.

Although Catherine allowed her to use it, Tonks knew that using it meant escaping, giving up, and now that she had decided to play the game seriously, she had to challenge her limits.

Anyone who has been to the Burrow will notice the wall clock in the Weasley house that shows the approximate location of the family members, and Catherine is no exception, and she even asks Molly and Arthur about it, and then she learns that the principle of the wall clock comes from the Black family.

Because Molly's father's brother's wife is Sirius's father's sister Liucrexia, and Arthur's grandmother Saidrell is the cousin of Sirius's parents, they have both received the Black family's inheritance pocket watch, but that pocket watch only shows the danger of the loved one's environment, so successive generations of Black have intended to improve on this.

But Liucretia and Sedrell are both female members of the Black family, and they only have a general understanding of the principle of inheriting pocket watches, and Molly and Arthur only accidentally knew about it when they were chatting with their elders, although they are only a year apart from Bellatrix, but because of the academy and the family, the relationship between the two sides is not friendly at all, so the Weasleys were able to work together to make that wall clock, completely relying on the strength of the two of them.

When Catherine was the acting patriarch of the Black family at the age of Mrs. Walburga, she had carefully checked the private information of the Black family, and naturally figured out many functions of the inheritance pocket watch, but she was only the eighth order at the time, so she only had the same authority as a male member, and it was not until she ventured to break through the ninth order that she had some of the patriarch's permissions, such as the general location of finding blood relatives.
