Chapter 031: Accident at the entrance to the platform
Chapter 031 Accident at the entrance to the platform
The waiting hall is full of people, parents greet each other, children scurry around, looking for their friends and classmates, waiters shuttle through it to pour tea and water, and pets are not willing to be lonely to join in the fun.
There are middle- and upper-class families in the wizarding world, most of them from Slytherin, a few are Gryffindors and Ravenclaw, there are almost no Hufflepuffs, and throughout the history of the wizarding world, there are few Hufflepuff families that have survived intact.
Catherine, who was with Narcissa at the Black family's funeral, had already attracted attention, and now that she was sitting openly with the Malfoy family, and her relationship with Draco was obviously unusual, the parents of these students couldn't help but come over to inquire after listening to their children's introductions.
The Malfoys deduced that Snape entrusted them to take care of them, and the rest were unknown, while Catherine put on a very simple appearance and pushed a qiΔ to Dumbledore, because these two basically stayed at Hogwarts, naturally everyone was dissatisfied, so they had to tell their children to take time to investigate.
But the non-Slytherin students didn't dare to approach Snape at all, and Dumbledore was constantly babbling gibberish, and it was too difficult for the students of the other three houses to get Catherine's message out of their mouths.
Although the four of them pushed and pushed for a qiΔ temptation, the successive socializing still made them so busy that they had almost no time to take care of anything else, and when they finally got out of the crowd and boarded the train, it was already 10:30.
The two children's classmates were already waiting for them at the Malfoy family's box door, and when they met Blaise, they made fun of the embarrassment of the two of them, and Draco immediately retorted, but Catherine just looked out the window.
"What's wrong?" Daphne leaned over to her and whispered.
"I'm looking for someone." Catherine's eyes were still fixed on the entrance to the platform nine and three-quarters.
The door to the nine-and-three-quarter platform in the waiting hall is specially designed so that people in the hall can see the outside, but people in the platform can't see inside, which is why Catherine didn't find the waiting hall last year.
So even though Catherine had been in the waiting hall for almost the entire morning, she could observe the nine-and-three-quarters platform, but she never saw Harry and the Weasleys.
It wasn't until 10:55 that Catherine saw Percy pass through the wall, then Mr. Weasley, then the twins, then Mrs. Weasley with Ginny, and then no one showed up until the train whistle blew.
"Draco, help me inform the Dean!" Catherine shouted and climbed out of the window, and then, without waiting for the others to react, rushed straight to the entrance of the Nine and Three-Quarters platform.
"What the hell are you doing! The train is about to leave! As soon as Catherine went out, she saw Harry and Ron picking up their luggage.
"We can't get by!" Harry replied before realizing something was wrong, and he looked up at Catherine in surprise, "Y-how did you get here?" β
"Of course I came here!" Catherine waved back, but slammed into the wall.
"Look, we're not lying!" Ron angrily threw Hedwig's cage back on the cart, "I don't understand how you got here, but the passage is sealed!" β
"This magic fluctuation ......" Catherine groped the wall with her eyes closed, and immediately noticed that the other party's actions were very hasty, and she had found the loophole in it.
"Catherine, don't worry about the magic fluctuations, the train is about to leave-" Harry was helpless to find that it was less than a minute before eleven o'clock.
"I'll try now to see if we can force our way through, and if not, we'll go back to the car and wait for the adults to pick us up." With that, Catherine opened her eyes and took out her wand and pointed it at the wall.
"What do you want to do! There are so many Muggles here! Before Ron's exclamation could fall, Catherine's staff spewed a red light and slammed into the wall, sending her flying upside down.
"Catherine!" Harry hurriedly ran over to help her up, "How are you?" β
"Leaveβ" Catherine pressed her chest to cover her mouth as she spat out a word.
"Are you alright?" Ron ran over with a small car in one hand and asked nervously.
Catherine took a deep breath, waved her hand, and got up and walked to the exit of King's Cross Station. Ron and Harry looked at each other blankly, hurrying to keep up with the girl.
The repeated changes made them not even notice, and the Muggles around them did not react in the slightest to Catherine's actions just now.
Leaving King's Cross Station, Catherine slipped into the Weasleys' Ford Anglia and sat in the back seat with her eyes closed.
One is that Catherine has not fully recovered the magic consumed during her duel with Pansy yesterday, two is that Tracey landed on the other side of the passage because she was a beat slower, and three closed the passage is a type of magic that she has never been exposed to, and the result is naturally conceivable.
Thankfully, Catherine's new school robes were embroidered with a Confusion Charm that didn't attract the attention of the Muggles, but she had to leave the scene to find a place to adjust to avoid further injuries, and wait for the Weasleys or Snape to arrive.
The problem was that Harry and Ron clearly didn't follow her instructions, Catherine closed her eyes and rested for less than a minute, she felt the car start, and when she opened her eyes and saw the situation around her, she was so angry that she almost vomited blood, these two impulsive Gryffindors actually wanted to drive to Hogwarts.
Catherine was tempted to shout, but the sweetness of her throat forced her to breathe and steady her injuries until a small green bird flew over her shoulder, and the squealness in her chest was relieved.
After feeling her breathing regain her breath, Catherine pulled out a bottle of healing potion and poured it down, her most important thing now was to make sure she could move and avoid accidents with the two reckless guys in front of her.
Because the car's invisibility failed shortly after takeoff, meaning that they could be spotted by Muggles at any time, and although Arthur had cast a Muggle banishment spell on the car, Catherine had little hope for its durability and could only pray that she would not attract the attention of the Muggle army.
"How bold you are!" As soon as her body regained slightly, Catherine scolded loudly.
"Ahh Catherine! You're awake! Harry shouted back in surprise, clearly not understanding what the girl had just said, "Don't worry, we've caught up with the train, just follow it and we'll be to Hogwarts." β
"You're so smart!" Catherine smiled brightly, "Maybe you can sue me, but what is chasing us behind?" β
"Chasing us?" Ron looked back in confusion, and sure enough, he saw several palm-sized black figures in the air a hundred yards behind him.
"What's that? Airplanes? Harry asked curiously, "Why are there planes here?" β
"Even propeller planes aren't slower than what we sit on, let alone jets." Catherine looked back and estimated the other party's speed, "That should be something from the wizarding world." β
"That's a gargoyle!" Ron said in a trembling voice in panic, "Why are gargoyles chasing us?" β
"Apparently someone isn't going to let us go back to school!" Catherine grabbed Ron by the collar and threw him onto Harry as she slipped into the driver's seat.
"Hey! What do you want! Ron didn't react until he landed on Harry, and hurriedly turned to question Catherine.
"Drive!" Catherine fastened her seatbelt before turning the steering wheel to stabilize the car that had been swayed from side to side by Ron, "You'd better go to the back." β
"Ron! Hurry up! Harry was a little overwhelmed by his friend.
"I'm sorry, Harry!" Ron scrambled to the back seat, and Catherine pushed her brother to the back.
"Fix yourself, I can't guarantee that I won't throw you out!" Catherine's words frightened the two boys into fastening their seat belts.
"What now?" After fixing himself, Harry finally had time to care about the "pursuers" behind him, "Can you get rid of them?" β
"No, the car doesn't have enough power." Catherine adjusted her rearview mirror and saw that the gargoyles were less than fifty yards away from the car.
"There are seven of them!" Ron shouted in horror, "If they catch up, we're going to be flattened." β
"I made two real products during the summer vacation!" Catherine took two small balls from her pocket and threw them in the back seat, "When those gargoyles get closer, you can throw them on them, and remember to squeeze them hard before throwing them out." β
"What is this? Explosives? Harry cautiously picked up one of the balls.
"There's no way I'm going to carry something that dangerous!" Catherine rolled her eyes, "It's just a fishing net with magic. β
"And what about the remaining five?" Ron picked up another ball and looked nervously at the back of the car.
"I'll fix it." Catherine opened a round lid next to the steering wheel and tucked a wheel inside.
"What's that?" Harry asked.
"Nails!" Catherine answered, and suddenly spun the steering wheel rapidly, and the car instantly spun one hundred and eighty degrees, and the front of the car was facing the group of gargoyles.
"You're crazy!" Ron exclaimed.
"Offense is the best defense!" With a wave of her wand in Catherine's hand, the wheel popped out of the middle of the hood, and then she pressed the accelerator hard, and the car immediately rushed towards the gargoyle.
"Ahh The two boys screamed loudly, but they saw the wheel spin rapidly, and then the four gargoyles in front suddenly stopped their movements and fell straight to the ground like dumplings.
"And three!" Harry cheered loudly.
"It's your turn!" Catherine didn't slow down, and rushed the car into the middle of the remaining three gargoyles.
Harry and Ron immediately clenched the balls in their hands, and while they were staggering, they threw them at the two nearest gargoyles, and as soon as the balls flew out, they quickly bounced off and turned into two fishing nets, netting the gargoyles' wings, and the two gargoyles could only pounce helplessly on the ground.
"Yay!" Ron cheered, looked back and was horrified to see that the car was about to hit the last gargoyle, "Pull up!" He yelled and threw himself at the steering wheel, but the seat belt on his body stopped him.
