Chapter 010: The Uses of Snake Language
"No, your adaptability is not bad, you know how to adjust your attitude as quickly as possible, and then it depends on your ability to continue, 1 hour is not a short journey."
Harry immediately hung his head in frustration.
"Recall first, and find out how much that pile of venom is worth?" K took Harry's arm and dragged him slowly to keep up with Catherine.
Harry painfully recalled Snape's vicious swearing, painstakingly tearing down the meaningless words, and finally he could figure out what the Potions professor was really trying to say.
"Ahh Harry exclaimed, staring at Snape's back in shock.
"How many did you find?"
"Five, no, six." Harry lowered his voice.
"Well, I'm right! Snake venom is indeed worth 6 times as much as gold. β
"But I'm still hard to believe." Harry's face was tangled and painful.
"Recall again, from last night to now, how high is the gold content?"
Harry was again mired in painful memories, but just like mining in a mine, the inexperienced person had no idea that the stone had gold in it, and that one wrapped in coal, and that one was a diamond, but once you got the hang of it, you would find that there were treasures all around you.
Snape's words were the same, in the ears of most naΓ―ve underage wizards, it was simply a merciless scolding; But to those who are accustomed to his way of speaking, it is all the most meticulous care.
But to find this, for Harry, it was no less than a bolt from the blue, he would rather believe that Snape had always hated him, and he did not want to believe that he had been silently caring about himself all along.
"How? Have you figured out how much gold there is? Sensing Harry's strangeness, K asked with a chuckle.
"Well-really-" Harry gritted his teeth, finally reluctantly admitted, "very high!" β
"It's good to know!" K patted him the shoulder, "Actually, you can think of this as a puzzle game. β
"Whew!" Harry couldn't help but feel a toothache, "No wonder Hermione always said that Slytherin were just a bunch of awkward guys, and they had to make riddles to make a word." He grumbled angrily, only to be met with Snape's icy stare.
Harry shuddered, and then apologized to Hermione in the bottom of his heart, he really didn't mean to drag her into the water.
"Because that's the only way to show how knowledgeable they are." Catherine, who looked at her, raised her eyebrows and put her arm around Harry's shoulder, looking like a good brother, but she was actually telling the red-haired girl that she owed her a favor and was already on the way to repay, and now she should help her with her work.
Catherine smiled and let Tracey transform into an illusion and lead the way.
"Wow! CοΌ Is this your pet? Where the hell were you hiding? What kind of species is it? With such a big green bird, why can't I think of a myth or legend that mentions it? K shouted in surprise and ran over and put his arm around Catherine's shoulder.
"It's called Tracey, and it's a bluebird."
"Blue Bird!" K's eyes immediately widened, "The blue bird that represents good luck, why didn't I meet it?" β
"Fate!"
"Hell in fate!" K scratched his head hard, then leaned in front of Catherine again, and asked with a flattering face, "My princess, you already have a bluebird, can you find a suitable mount for your knight?" I would very much like to have a unicorn. The purple-haired girl held the red-haired girl's hand and shook it vigorously, and her eyes kept discharging.
"You-" Catherine looked K from top to bottom and bottom up before adding, "will you be pure?" β
This sentence hits the bull's-eye.
"You're so ruthless!" Holding his chest, K took three steps back in pain, and fell headfirst to the ground.
Catherine ignored and continued walking in the direction Tracy had left.
"Are you alright?" Harry kindly ran over and crouched down beside K and nudged it, only to see a snake burst out of her body and wrap itself around his left hand in an instant.
"Helpβhelp!" Harry shuddered and shouted, but it seemed to make the big guy wrapped around his left hand feel "threatened", and it immediately opened its bloody mouth, revealing two sharp fangs.
"Well done, Harry!" A slender hand caught the snake's seven inches like lightning, and then the snake wrapped around K's right hand, "You are too qualified for this bait, I can catch this spearhead pit viper without damage, and I will invite you to eat snake gall later." β
Harry sat down on the ground, not even reflexing.
"Why are you still stunned?" K grabbed Harry's right hand and dragged him off the ground, "If you don't leave, you'll be abandoned by C, she's never waited." With that, he dragged the black-haired boy forward.
Looking at the mouth in front of him, although it was tied by several rubber bands, but the tail was pressed by K on his right wrist, his body was also wrapped around his arm, and his head was a spearhead pit viper shaking vigorously in front of his eyes, Harry was furious from the bottom of his heart, and always felt that this guy would suddenly break free of those rubber bands and bite himself hard.
"Catherine! I was wrong! I shouldn't have disobeyed you! Come and save me-" Harry shouted hysterically in his heart, but unfortunately the red-haired girl didn't seem to stop and wait for them, as K said.
But that didn't mean Catherine had really abandoned them, she still left some marks, but they seemed so random that no one but K could figure out what they meant, so when Harry ran out of the forest with K and saw Catherine crouching by the river to check the current, his tears flowed instantly.
At this time, the spearhead pit viper wrapped around Harry's arm seemed to find that the act of strangling his arm was useless, and simply straightened out and poked into Harry's neck, fortunately it was only two feet long, but a venomous snake's head close at hand, even if it was not life-threatening, would still make people feel extremely frightened.
When Snape heard footsteps and was about to reprimand them for their grinding, he didn't expect to see such a horrible scene as soon as he turned around, and he didn't hesitate to raise his wand and point it at K.
βNo!β K immediately raised his hands, and the spearhead pit viper, which had lost its restraint, immediately wrapped itself around Harry's neck, and the black-haired boy quickly reached out to block it, only to find that his strength was not as strong as that of a snake.
Snape quickly turned his wand, and quickly turned various spells in his head, trying to find one that could kill the snake without hurting Harry, but he couldn't find it for a while.
"Harry, what is the snake language for?" Catherine glanced back, threw out an angry sentence and turned her head.
Snape was stunned, his expression no longer nervous, but his wand was not lowered. K couldn't help but turn his head to look at Harry, and his raised hands slowly drooped.
[Loosen - Loose!] Harry held back until his face turned red before he burst out with a snake word.
The spearhead pit viper curiously poked its head out of Harry's eyes, but its body honestly let go.
Harry was desperate to gasp for breath when he finally got the oxygen, but the spearhead pit viper still hovering in front of him made him not even dare to take a deep breath.
"Come down! Wrong! Go down! Fall! Fall! Harry shouted anxiously for a long time before he uttered another snake word, "Crawl to the ground!" γ
The spearhead pit viper shook its head and slid down Harry's body all the way to the grass, and as soon as it left, Harry's legs went limp, and he fell straight to the ground.
[Stick your tail into the thing that stangles your mouth, and you can untie those bindings.] Catherine, who had just stood up straight, seemed to be unusually unhappy with Harry's expression, and suddenly said in snake language.
"Catherine!" Harry shouted in shock, and hurriedly crawled backwards and took a few steps back, Snape also looked at the red-haired girl in surprise, but after seeing the smile on her face, he put down his wand instead, although K couldn't understand, but after seeing the snake's movements, she immediately understood Catherine's plan, and couldn't help but look at the terrified black-haired boy with a wicked smile on her face.
"Since you have the gift of snake language, you should learn to use it and make it your habit, your instinct, a part of your body." Catherine smiled brightly, "If you can't even handle a snake, you might as well stay at Dursley's house and never come out. γ
Harry felt as if his heart had been ruthlessly peeled open, and he had been stabbed again, making his throat bitter and the corners of his mouth sweet, but when he thought of K's words just now, he gritted his teeth hard, swallowed all the bitter and sweet taste in his mouth, got up and stood up straight, stared at the snake and said slowly.
[No biting! γ
What is a person? Spearhead Viper asked curiously.
"Those who stand on two feet like me are people. γ
What if they want to hurt me? γ
[This--only I command you to bite!] γ
What if I'm hungry? γ
[I'll help you find something to eat.] γ
"What is he doing? Snake training? K crept over to Catherine and asked curiously.
"No, he's teaching a snake about humans." Catherine said very seriously, which made Harry so embarrassed that he immediately jumped into the river and hid.
"Is he going to have a pet?" K asked, puzzled.
"Have one of the most dangerous poisonous snakes in South America as a pet, do you think it's a goldfish in a fish tank and at your mercy?" Catherine just threw the other party a roll of the eye.
Harry looked at the two sharp fangs and took a cautious half step back.
"Is that going to be a weapon?" K slapped his face, the pair of green eyes full of smiles.
"No matter how easy the sword is, it can hurt the master, and the aging snake king will also be provoked by the young snake." Catherine said sternly, her eyes involuntarily looking at Harry.
The brunette boy looked confused, he really didn't know what Catherine was trying to do on his own.
"You can't raise or use it, so why do you need this snake?" K kindly helped him out.
