Chapter 253: The Dangers of Genetically Modified Organisms (Part II)

The investigation began in 1973 when they took on the role of manipulators in the first major oil price shock, a program in which they invested hundreds of millions of dollars, which required a lot of money from the strength of the Rockefeller family. The entire GM project came from the Eugenics Race Campaign Fund, which began in the 20s of the 20th century, and this campaign fund came from the Rockefeller Fund and similar American conglomerates, as well as from the Bush family. The Rockefeller Fund has established specialized organizations such as the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), which trains the entire cadre of microbiologists to spread the word about GM engineering to their countries and is known as "solving the problem of world hunger." From this point on, my investigation will shed light on the deeper meaning of something that few people really realize, like the Rockefeller family's penchant for naming the "GMO Revolution."

Monsanto is the world's number one GMO company with its headquarters in Missouri. It is also the world's largest producer of the chemical herbicide glyphosate, also known as a composite herbicide. Beginning in the '90s, Monsanto spent about $8 billion to buy the seed company to fill its role as the world's leading herbicide producer. This strategy can be defined by an interview with Business Week on April 12, 1999, Monsanto CEO Obert B. Shapiro, who argued that it was aimed at creating a globally united "three major industries of the world" - agriculture, food and health - which are still separate businesses, but which will lead them to the process of integration with a series of changes. Monsanto is playing the role of a changemaker that brings it all together.

Monsanto was founded in 1901 to make industrial chemicals such as sulfuric acid. It is the company that produces and has obtained the most licenses in the world for the production of polychlorinated biphenyls (abbreviated as PCBs), a substance that was later shown to cause severe damage to brain tissue, causing physiological deficiencies or causing cancer. Monsanto is engaged in the production of highly toxic dioxin and "Agent Orange", which can kill in the Vietnam War. As one chemical expert reported: "From 1962 to 1970, U.S. troops sprayed 72 million liters of herbicide, mostly 'Agent Orange,' in Vietnam." More than a million Vietnamese were exposed to sprayed pesticides, along with more than 100,000 Americans and coalition troops. "Monsanto began to be one of the partners chosen by the Rockefeller Group for strategic cooperation, a true criminal scam.

Louis of the Moldy Country. Dr. J. Prebore, who was in charge of formulating the GM food policy at the time, was one of the 17 government scientists at the Food and Drug Administration of the Mold Country, and he learned from his research that the new gene could produce unexpected toxins when implanted into plant cells, so he wrote to the Bush administration to warn him of the risks of "doing nothing." Bush Sr. turned a deaf ear to this, insisted on releasing the devil of GM from Pandora's box, and ruled that all GM plants and foods are "substantially equivalent" with traditional plants of the same variety, and this concept came from the first creation of GM agricultural enterprises such as Monsanto. It is very ironic that when Monsanto et al. defended the principle of "substantial sameness" while simultaneously patenting their genetically modified plants, they were forcing them to have the best of both worlds.

The first genetically modified food to hit the market in large quantities was milk containing rBGH, an artificial growth hormone, a GM technology patented by Monsanto. Monsanto claims that if cows are regularly injected with the rBGH hormone (Posilac, marketed as Posilac), the cows' milk production will increase by 30 percent, a figure that is absolutely tempting for farmers in distress. In 1994, the Food and Drug Administration approved the sale of rBGH milk on the market, based on the principle of "essentially the same", this milk is not labeled as GMO, so consumers will not be worried about carcinogens or other substances dangerous to their bodies in the milk they or their children.

Although Monsanto claims that its rBGH is one of the most well-tested drugs in U.S. history, they have never tested the long-term effects of rBGH on human health. The scientific community generally agrees that the shortest test time as a long-term test is two years, and rBGH only took 90 days to test 30 mice. Even so, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration denied anyone outside access to the study's original numbers, citing "irreparable harm" to Monsanto if it was made public.

Genetically modified foods are "essentially the same" as traditional foods is a scientific "false proposition", and now genetically modified foods seem to skip the question of whether they are safe and become common, which is the most surprising aspect of GM bioengineering. Clearly, since 1992, no president has had even the slightest concern for the health and safety of the American population. They pushed the entire population into a huge human experiment, using this history to advance the "noble" GM project. Genetically modified engineering patents should never be officially released to the general public, unless there have been years of rigorous scientific control over independent individuals. "Essentially the same" is actually an excuse for the U.S. government to give Monsanto and the Seed Alliance the Seed Alliance a blank piece of paper that amounts to carte blanche to sign (to be filled in by anyone) -- a radical free market that has gone too far.

Dr. Epstein of Mold Nation, a recognized authority on carcinogen research, has warned that there is a growing body of scientific evidence linking the IGF-1 hormone to the production of human cancer, which can remain dormant in the body for many years. And many independent scientists have begun to publicly warn that Monsanto's rBGH hormone increases levels of the IGF-1 hormone, which may cause cancer.

In the fall of 1998, Dr. Epstein publicly stated on television that he fed rats with potatoes with snowdrop lectin genes, "causing the rats to lose weight and organ weight, and their immune systems to be damaged." This has sparked an international debate on the safety of genetically modified crops. Later, Dr. Epstein was dissuaded from the Rowett Institute, to which he belonged. Unsurprisingly, some dairy farmers have reported that their cows have shortened their life expectancy by 2 years, due to the side effects of hormones that increase cow production by 30%, and due to the injection of rBGH hormone, many cows have suffered from severe hoof and ** infectious diseases, and some have to inject more antibiotics because they cannot walk.

And in the early 90s of the 20th century, Monsanto's chief scientist, Margaret? Dr. Miller, who also served as deputy director of the Human Food Safety Division at the Food and Drug Administration, single-handedly cleared the way for Monsanto's burgeoning rBGH hormone business by raising the bar for antibiotics allowed farmers to infuse milk by a factor of 100 without justification. It should be noted that the mold country opposes the poster about Monsanto's crimes. Monsanto's genetically modified milk, Posilac, which contains the rBGH hormone, is still sold in developing countries such as Asia. The most difficult thing to accept is that the impact of GM engineering on the entire human species is more dangerous and terrible than imagined.

In January 2004, inspection officials at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration finally broke their silence and announced that they had found an excess of toxic substances in rBGH, and Monsanto had to announce that they would reduce the supply of Posilac products by 50 percent. Many thought Monsanto would quietly stop making this dangerous product, and a year later Monsanto increased the supply of Posilac products again, reaching 70% of its peak. This time, they are under tremendous pressure, not only from consumer health concerns, but also from farmers' resistance – which will increase milk production, but the oversupply has caused milk prices to plummet. Years after rBGH milk was launched, the University of Vermont also released a set of numbers that did show that rBGH was dangerous to health, however, it was too late.

How do we explain that large companies such as Monsanto are still at home with the government in the face of overwhelming evidence that genetically modified products can cause damage to human health? What drove the four presidents to turn a deaf ear to the warnings of countless scientists, and even government officials in charge of public health management, and to put the health of their own people and even the people of the world at unforeseeable risk? From the Rockefeller Foundation Chairman Gordon? Conway's attitude at the 1999 press conference was aware that this reason hinted at the existence of powerful interest groups behind public figures. "Conway Statement: The Rockefeller Foundation supports Monsanto's decision not to commercialize sterile seeds like Terminator. Conway, who visited Monsanto once a few months ago, warned the senior executives there that their risky behavior threatened the entire GMO revolution and that they were taking a small step back now in order to make the whole project big forward in the future. In previous public speeches, Conway mentioned that the Rockefeller Foundation has invested more than $100 million in the development of the GMO revolution, a project that is part of the global strategy pursued by the Rockefeller Foundation over the past few decades, a line of evolution of power.

Although Argentina in the early 90s of the 20th century when by Carlos? President Menem ruled, and in fact soon after the governor's domain became under the control of Davy? Rockefeller control zhì. David? Rockefeller allowed Monsanto to destroy the Argentine family's original farming model, and he maintained close ties with the very powerful families behind the GM project, including the Bush family. At the end of 1996, the board of directors of Monsanto approved a plan to separate the chemical business, and the company was divided into two, namely the newly established life science company and the separated chemical company. The company will be committed to the transformation from a traditional chemical industry company to a future-oriented high-tech agricultural, food and health industry company with very attractive profit growth opportunities in these industries. Monsanto has made the development of agricultural products, pharmaceuticals and food products a major focus for its future development. In 1996, Monsanto's operating cash was $1.2 billion, an increase of $823 million over 1995, and working capital accounted for about 10 percent of net sales, down 7 percentage points from 1995.
