Chapter Fifty-Seven: The Longer Vajra Demon Pestle
Back in Qilian Village, Cai Hongming inspected the construction site where the cement pillars were erected, and then went back to the house to study the King Kong Demon Pestle he found.
Vajra Demon Pestle, Tibetan transliteration Puba Pestle, also known as Karma Pestle, is named after holding the Vajra Demon Pestle Buddha Puba Vajra.
Originally, it was also an ancient seal. A kind of weapon, which was later absorbed by Buddhism and became a ritual weapon, its shape changed.
One end of the vajra pestle is the shape of the vajra, and the other end is three-edged with a pointed shape, such as a three-edged sharp cone; In the middle section, there are three Buddha statue heads as handles, one for laughter, one for anger, and one for scolding. It is usually used by Buddhist Tantric practice to subdue demons and grudges, indicating that it has powerful mana.
In Tibetan Buddhism, this kind of pestle represents the elimination of one's own sinful obstacles, the purification of all samayas, the attainment of all victories, the elimination of obstacles to undesirable conditions, the growth of all good roots of one's wishes, and the satisfaction and joy of both men and women and the elimination of grievances. It also represents the unwavering samadhi, wielding the wisdom of Vajra to break the inner demons of ignorance and delusion, so as to show the wisdom of self-purity.
The vajra is divided into single strands, three strands, five strands, nine strands, and twelve strands on all sides, and generally five strands are common.
On the pattern and the mandala, it is also common to see two vajra pestles crossed vertically in the shape of a cross, called vajra cross pestle.
"The Secret Teachings of the Great Tibet": The vajra is the meaning of bodhichitta, breaking off the two sides of the middle path, there are sixteen bodhisattvas, and the sixteen emptiness are the middle way, there are five strands on each side, the five Buddhas and five wisdoms, and the ten paramitas can destroy ten kinds of afflictions.
Minutes of the "Dharani Sutra" Volume 4 "Eleven-faced Guanyin Divine Mantra": If you want to achieve the cultivation of the Dharma, the four corners of the outer courtyard of the mandala should be erected in the four corners of the mandala to cross like a cross.
According to Tibetan tantric texts, each strand of the vajra has a different meaning: one cobalt (strand) is "the only dharma realm—one true dharma realm". The three cobalt table is the equality of the three Cs of "body, mouth and mind". Five cobalt is "five wisdom and five Buddhas". ——The middle one of the five cobalt is the "real wisdom" of the Buddha; The four cobalt on the periphery are the "power and wisdom" of the Buddha. The outer four cobalt bends inward, which is the meaning of "power and wisdom" and "real wisdom".
The upper and lower ends of the vajra are the same as the cobalt shape, indicating that the Buddha realm and the sentient beings have the same meaning of the five wisdoms.
There is another saying: The middle strand of the vajra represents the "Dharma Realm Body Intelligence", which is self-proof by the Great Ri Rulai, true and local, and not false and convenient. The four inner songs on the periphery are the blessings of the wisdom and convenience of the four Buddhas of the four wisdoms and the local self-proof of the great day. The upper and lower ends are in the same shape, and the Buddha has the same five wisdoms. The middle section of the "handle" is cast with four layers of eight leaves: representing the four paramitas and the sixteen great bodhisattvas, and the thirty-seven statues of the eight offerings and the four photographs. The four corners and four beads represent the four Buddhas in the four directions, and the hidden beads represent the great day. octo-lobe waist, tied with two ropes; The table is based on the two methods of "determination and wisdom". Again: each of the four strands has claws at the outer ends, symbolizing the shape of a lion's head; Its number is eight, which means "turning eight into the heart of the four wisdoms". Mastering this pestle is equivalent to dwelling in the Buddha's vajra wisdom.
Cai Hongming held the King Kong Demon Pestle, feeling quite weighty.
Most of the vajra materials are made of a combination of five-colored metals such as gold, silver, red copper, iron, and tin. However, due to the different methods practiced, the materials used are also gold, silver, cooked copper, sandstone, mixed with gold, silver, and copper, iron, pranimu, virupharam, tatarwood, maduga, ashtatamu, human bones, crystal, bitter wood, dragon wood, viril wood, heavenly wood, mud, katanmu, kagogamu, wuyumu, aburamu, bishunam, bishunam, ashonam, willow, white sandalwood, firewood sandalwood, and so on.
Cai Hongming tried it, and felt that the King Kong Demon Pestle in his hand should be made of ancient gold, silver, copper, iron and other alloys, otherwise it would not be so heavy.
The three-edged sharp cone at the end of the pestle does not converge at all because it is hidden in the ground, it looks extremely sharp, and under the light, it reflects a cold and cold glow. He tried to stab the wooden table with the vajra demon pestle, and the hole was suddenly pierced out of the wooden table.
According to Tibetan tantric texts, the vajra has eight fingers, ten fingers, twelve fingers, sixteen fingers, twenty fingers, and so on.
I don't know how many fingers I belong to. Buddhism is like this, the gods and gods chatter, it will not tell you the exact number, let you think whatever you want.
The vajra pestle is inlaid with red, blue, yellow, green and other gemstones, and it looks extremely luxurious. Cai Hongming can't put it down, but unfortunately he can't sell it, otherwise it is estimated to be very valuable. There is such a huge thousand-armed Buddha in that lama temple, I think it should not be unrecorded in similar temples or classics. If this thing is taken out and sold, if it is traced, it will definitely be taken back. Maybe it will also lead to the location of the temple, and if he knows that he has destroyed the temple, it will be over, so he can only enjoy it himself.
But it's also good for practice.
Cai Hongming picked up the one-meter-long Vajra Demon Suppression Pestle and waved it.
Suddenly, the two ends of the Vajra Demon Descending Pestle stretched out, and it instantly became two meters long.
Cai Hongming was stunned, and he didn't know why this happened, so he took a closer look. After a while, he found that in the middle of the Vajra Demon Pestle, there was a green gem inlaid with a mechanism button, as long as you press the Vajra Demon Pestle, it will automatically stretch out, becoming about two meters, and it will retract when you press it again.
This thing can be used as a spear.
He took the elongated Vajra Demon Descending Pestle upstairs to play with it, and it felt very good, even if it couldn't be sold, it could be used as a weapon in the future. After playing for a while, he took the Vajra Demon Pestle into the broken cave heaven blessed land in the jade ding, and took out the colored gem found in the lama temple and looked at it.
Looking at it, he suddenly remembered that when he was in the temple, he was in a trance when he saw the colored light shot out of the colored gemstones, and he didn't know anything. Why doesn't it shine now? It's weird.
The sunlight outside the window shone through the glass in the house, Cai Hongming looked at the colored gemstones, and inadvertently put the gems on the sunlight. In an instant, the gem burst out with a brilliant light, colorful and colorful, and transformed into various scenes, which made people dizzy. For a moment, Cai Hongming was confused. The whole brain is muddy, and I don't know why. At this moment, the platinum dragon seal hanging on his chest suddenly burst out with a dazzling white light, and a dragon groan sounded in his head.
In the sound of the dragon's groan, Cai Hongming shook his spirit, woke up suddenly, glanced at the gem, and threw him on the bed in fright.
This thing is so evil, why do you look at it and get dizzy, I don't remember anything.
He didn't dare to look at the colored gems anymore, so he hurriedly found a piece of cloth to wrap it up, put it in the box that used to contain the jade tripod, and put it into the broken cave heaven blessed land inside the jade tripod.
After dealing with it, he suddenly remembered the voice that he had just thought of in his head, what was going on, and he couldn't think of the result after thinking about it for a long time, so he simply stopped thinking about it.
At this time, he thought of another question, the tall thousand-armed Buddha in the lama temple had so many magic weapons on his body, why did the person who went in only break off the hand with the seal on the palm of his hand and bring it out? You must know that whether it is the vajra demon pestle he is holding, or the various exquisite magic weapons held in the hands of the thousand-armed Buddha, all of them are more valuable than the Buddha's hand with the seal in his hand. After thinking about it, I felt that there must be something wrong with the Buddha's hand, so I went downstairs, planning to find the third master to study the Buddha's hand.
