Chapter 17 Muwei Xizhi and Insect Tea
Seeing the wild boars that Cai Hongming and they carried down, the workers working at the construction site were boiling and ran over to see.
Hachiko and Shi Wan'er, who got the news, stood in front of the house early and waited for these heroes who returned from hunting.
Ji Dong saw them carrying the wild boar, he was full of pride, and his heart was sour, why didn't he go?
At that moment, Cai Hongming decided to take out some wild boar meat and share it with the workers, who shouted with joy. Originally, he wanted to kill those little wild boars to eat as roast suckling pigs, but he was stopped by the third master, saying that he would keep them and raise them before killing. There was no way, he could only let his old man kill only the two largest male and female wild boars.
In the evening, everyone crowded to Cai Hongming's house to taste the delicious food made with wild boar.
What wild boar tendons fried garlic, white water wild boar, braised pig's trotters, garlic wild boar bones, sweet and sour grunt meat, chestnut stewed pig's tail, etc., anyway, a big table is full of wild boar, there are no green vegetables, everyone wants to vomit when they see wild boar the next day.
Eating fragrant meat, drinking wine, so unhappy, and finally getting so drunk that no one knew how to go back.
Shi Wan'er also happily drank a few glasses, accidentally drank too much, drunk, her face was as red as a peach after dew, and she was shouting over there, and she didn't know what to say. Cai Hongming was speechless and helpless, so he had to carry her back to the room, and then turn around to clean up the mess.
After packing up and taking a shower, he didn't go to bed, but went directly into the cave heaven blessed land in the jade ding.
I didn't go into the cave for a while, but once I got inside. He felt as if there was a change in the inside, as if it had become a little bigger.
The jade tripod kept absorbing the Haoyue Essence and transforming it into the jade toad liquid to moisten the space, and the space absorbed the aura, slowly changing, and now it is a few meters larger.
Cai Hongming looked at the jasper lingzhi on the side of the boulder, the jasper lingzhi did not grow anymore, but the small green lingzhi that protruded from the lid and grew into the shape of a lotus flower became bigger and bigger, and now it has grown the same size as a normal lotus, and there are petals, count carefully. One, two, three, four. There are a total of 12 pieces, and there is a lotus pod in the middle, and the lotus seeds in the canopy are like jade, crystal clear. Dense blue light.
All of a sudden. He remembered the record of the immortal medicine in the volume of "Hug Puzi" that he had read.
The book says: There are five kinds of shiba. There are Shizhi, Muzhi, and Caozhi. There are meat mushrooms, there are mushroom mushrooms, and there are hundreds of varieties each. Muzhi, pine and cypress resin, pine and cypress resin fell to the ground and turned into Poria cocos. Long live Poria cocos, there is a small tree on it, the shape is like a lotus, and the name is Mu Wei Xizhi. There is light in night vision, it is very slippery, it is not burning, and it is brought to open up troops. With the chicken and mixed with his chicken twelve head cage, go to the twelve steps, shoot twelve arrows, he chickens are injured, with Wei Xizhi will not be injured in the end. Pick it from the birth gate, dry it in the shade of Liujia, 100 days, serve a square inch dagger, three days a day, and one piece, then 3,000 years old.
He saw that the appearance of the small green lingzhi on the current jasper lingzhi was very similar to the Mu Wei Xizhi mentioned in the immortal medicine scroll of "Hug Puzi", but when the ancients talked about some medicinal materials with extraordinary effects, they always liked to attach legends such as fairy roads, and Cai Hongming didn't know whether it was true or false, so he didn't dare to try it. After all, there is only such a jasper lingzhi, what if it dies? So I had to let it go on and on.
However, although he didn't know if the jasper lingzhi was the Muwei Xizhi mentioned in the book, he knew very well that the green lingzhi growing next to the jasper lingzhi was a good thing, otherwise the livestock raised at home would not like to eat it so much.
Now the green Ganoderma lucidum under the jasper Ganoderma lucidum has grown to the size of ordinary Ganoderma lucidum, Cai Hongming once picked some sun-dried tea, which tastes good, and the mouth is full of Ganoderma lucidum fragrance, which can refresh the mind.
These green lingzhi mushrooms grow more and more, and now they occupy a large piece of land, Cai Hongming wondered if he would pick some out to make hot pot ingredients, and he didn't know if it tasted good when eaten hot, whether it was the same as mushrooms?
After a moment's look, he continued to walk to the side.
The giant pillar cactus and thatch that were previously placed in it have been taken out and planted, and a piece of space has been vacated, which looks much wider. The thatch was not cleaned, and some of it took root in it and grew very densely.
Cai Hongming walked over and pulled up a thatch, and found that the thatch root was very fat, so he pulled one out and cleaned it and chewed it in his mouth, which was different from the sweetness of the thatch root outside. He originally wanted to pull out the thatch, but now that it looks better than the outside, he doesn't bother to pull it out again and stays.
Walk through the thatch and come under the purple gourd vine.
After the purple gourd bloomed, it was manually pollinated by him, which looked a little effective, and several small purple gourds had grown, hanging among the green leaves, which was very good-looking.
The gourd vine is the nine camellia trees that Cai Hongming dug in from the mountain and planted, and because he was busy for a while, he didn't come in to pick tea, but it was a bit of a loss. Standing under the tea tree, I looked up and found that the tea tree had grown a little taller, only three or four meters before, and now it is estimated to be nearly five meters tall.
Suddenly, something seemed to fall from above.
Cai Hongming subconsciously flashed, dodged away, and looked down, but it was a soybean-sized round thing that looked like a black Chinese medicine pill, and there were many more on the ground. These pill-like things are not smooth on the outside, they appear very rough and smell of tea. Feeling strange, he picked it up and looked at it.
It is indeed a bit like a Chinese medicine pill, but it has no medicinal taste, but has a fragrance of fermented ripe tea like oolong tea, accompanied by some Ganoderma lucidum fragrance.
Cai Hongming wondered what this thing was, so he looked up, so he couldn't die, and just a grain of something fell into his mouth. He quickly threw up. But it's very strange, this thing is mellow and fragrant, and after spitting it out, it has a sweet aftertaste, which is much better than the thousands of good tea on the market.
What the hell is this thing?
Cai Hongming looked up again, looked carefully, and suddenly found a fat white worm eating tea leaves between a cluster of tender green tea leaves.
Isn't that the last time he was still on the boulder? Why isn't he dead yet? Why did you come here? What the hell is going on?
Cai Hongming's heart was strange, and many questions came to his mind. It suddenly occurred to me that what fell into my mouth just now would not be the pulled out by this white worm, I felt too disgusting, and I immediately groaned, but it tasted really good.
The white worm who was eating tea heard the movement, stopped, and looked down at Cai Hongming, his big eyes looked very innocent.
Cai Hongming snorted for a while, looked up, and found that it was looking at himself, so he stomped on the ground hard, jumped up with his strength, and caught the white worm. The white insect was fatter than when he first saw it, almost two thumbs thick, more than ten centimeters long, with a pair of big black eyes and a huge insect head, which made people look stupid.
Just as Cai Hongming was looking at it, the white worm's stomach squirmed, and a hard worm feces the size of a soybean was pulled out of its buttocks.
Fresh, so still with a hint of flavor.
It's not a smell, it's not a fishy smell, it's a smell of fermented tea, and a reishi mushroom.
Well
Cai Hongming felt a little wrong, smelled it carefully, and tasted the taste that fell in his mouth just now, as if there was a smell of cordyceps. How can there be a cordyceps smell? Could it be that this guy hasn't digested Cordyceps for so long? Or was this guy originally conjured up from Cordyceps? That's amazing, but it's impossible.
Cai Hongming thought in his heart, touched his chin, looked at the insect feces in his hands, and said in his heart that this could be the legendary insect tea.
Insect tea is a special tea traditionally exported, which is excreted by insects such as Spodoptera exigua and rice black insects after eating the leaves of plants such as Huaxiang tree and bitter tea. It's the same principle as cat poop coffee, it's all about eating something in your stomach and then pulling it out.
In the past, the mountain people specially collected the dry manure pulled out by these insects, and after special treatment, they obtained the "insect tea" with fine round particles and oily golden color.
This kind of insect tea is full of aroma, mellow and sweet taste, refreshing and memorable. If you use the scientific definition of tea to measure, in fact, this is not tea, but people eat the feces of this insect in a similar way to drinking tea, so it is called "tea".
Insect tea is mainly produced in Yunnan, Guizhou, Xianggui and other ethnic minority areas, and the local mountain people have come up with some methods after years of exploration, and have changed from the most primitive insect tea to the current insect tea.
Before and after the rain in the valley, the mountain people will go into the mountains, collect the local wild bitter tea leaves, or the fresh and tender leaves of wild plants such as fragrant trees, glutinous rice vines, Coptis chinensis, wild hawthorns, hooked vines, etc., after a little steaming to remove the astringency, wait until they are dry, and then stack them in wooden barrels, and pour rice water evenly on the compartments, then cover and keep them moist. The leaves gradually and naturally ferment and decay, giving off a tangy fragrance.
At this time, insects such as Spodoptera exigua will be lured by the scent to swarm and lay eggs here.
After about 10 days, the dark gray larvae will break out of the eggs, covering the leaves, while eating the rotten and fragrant leaves, while excreting the "golden grains", that is, insect feces, which is called "insect tea".
These little caterpillars eat an astonishing amount of food, and it doesn't take long for them to eat up the rotting leaves in the barrel. At this time, the mountain people will collect these insect droppings, remove the residual stems and leaves, dry them and sieve them, and finally obtain the "insect tea" with fine and round grains, bright oil and golden color. If you pay more attention to it, you should dry these insect teas again, then put them in an iron pot, add honey and tea leaves, and fry them at a high temperature of 180 °C for 20 minutes, so that you can get the best quality insect tea.
In fact, this is similar to raising silkworms, except that the things raised are different, the feeding is not the same, and the things pulled out are not the same.
Cai Hongming didn't know whether the things pulled out by the white worm were insect tea or not, but he felt that it tasted good, so he picked up the insect feces that fell on the ground one by one, and planned to take them out for research. As for the white bug, seeing that it was so cute, he didn't want to harm it, so he let it go.
If the it pulls is really worm tea, then it's a treasure. (To be continued......)
