Chapter I
The geist stared blankly at the mage who had summoned him in front of him, his mind filled with too many questions.
He couldn't remember how he came to this world, and in his newly generated thoughts, the earliest memories appeared at a certain moment when he was in the spatial tunnel, at that moment, as if the night sky was pierced by the dawn, wisdom and consciousness suddenly descended on the body of the lowest existence in the undead world, but before he could further understand the forcibly constructed passage through different spaces, he was already in this completely strange world.
At this point, a name crept into the core of his consciousness: Rhaeggar. Although there was no reason, the first time the name appeared, he assumed that it belonged to him.
With this thought, countless memories poured out of all corners of his soul like a flood that opened the floodgates, and the immense content contained in it almost overwhelmed the slightly fragile consciousness of the geist, and these mighty torrents of memories roared through Rhaeggar's consciousness, but only a few remained, and the rest returned to the sea of souls like the sea at low tide.
However, for the current geist, these few memories are enough, if Rhaegar was just a newborn baby who knew nothing about the world, then now, he has become a wise man with a lot of experience and knowledge, and all this happened in less than half a second.
Rhaegar's attention returned to the dying summoner on the ground, a young spellcaster who, judging by his costume, was supposed to be a third-order or lower apprentice mage, who was looking at the translucent geist with incredulous gaze.
"What the hell," the mage muttered, "this damn blood loss made me mispronounce the spell. ”
His gaze gradually dimmed: "Jura." He whispered the name of another creature that should have been summoned - a beetle-like creature that could heal certain injuries caused by magic - and died.
A translucent figure that closely resembled a geist rose from the body of the dead mage, and it was the mage's soul.
"No!" As soon as he broke away from his body, the soul realized that he had not reached the underworld, and the mage soul, who had a deep understanding of the laws of the universe, realized his situation, screaming in horror while writhing his body as hard as he could, trying to break free from the gravitational pull imposed on him. However, these efforts did not change his fate, and a second later, the mage's soul was sucked into Rhaegar's body.
Rhaegar was not alarmed by this, he knew that all this came from the action of the laws of the universe: as a summoner, a mage must pay a certain price for his summoning, and a dead mage cannot voluntarily pay him in any case, in this case, the only thing that can provide compensation to the summoned is the summoner's soul.
Rhaegar clearly felt that the power contained in the mage's soul was rapidly merging with himself, but more power was escaping into the universe. The geist knew very well that this was an inevitable consequence - he had not been able to save the mage, so he could only get the reward that Ringing ** deserved, and before the fusion process was complete, he had to decide which parts of the mage's soul to get and which parts to discard.
Images flew through the core of Rhaegar's consciousness, which were the memories of the mage's life, and for the geysers who had been tested by the huge flood of memories, these memories could only be regarded as babbling streams, and if it were not for the restrictions of the rules, he could easily absorb them completely.
Rega read the images at lightning speed, discarding what he thought was worthless, and eventually, after the fusion process was complete, the geist gained most of the mage's memories of magic and nearly a third of the latter's soul power.
Although for the awakened geist, these powers are only equivalent to one-fifth of their existing energy at most, but those magic alone are enough to make Rhaegar feel satisfied, you know, even in the entire universe, mages are definitely the rarest and most powerful group of beings, as long as there is enough time, Rhaegar who has absorbed the mage's soul will become the first geist ever to be able to use magic.
A black hole quietly appeared and gradually expanded around Rhaegar, and bursts of strong gravitational pull came from the black hole at the same time, constantly pulling his body. This is a summoning from the realm of the undead, and according to the laws of the universe, after completing the summoning mission or the summoner dies, he must return to his own world, unless he is strong enough to resist the summons.
Rhaegar looked at the world in front of him with some nostalgia, as the first world to arrive after gaining wisdom, in his mind, this place was undoubtedly more like his home than the undead world, and, his instinct told him that there was something waiting for him to discover, and he should, and must stay.
As his gaze swept over the lifeless mage on the ground, a new memory entered his consciousness, and Rhaegar had a new idea, the geist flew towards the mage's corpse before the gravity of the black hole was too strong to resist.
In this universe, any life that ends will face two ends: the vast majority will go to the underworld, and those who refuse to rest can enter the undead if their will or strength is strong enough to resist the call of the underworld. Either way, however, as a rule, when a soul leaves its own body, no soul can enter that body.
But this routine was now broken by Rhaegar, who, with the help of a method obtained from memory, encountered no resistance and effortlessly took over the soulless body, which greatly weakened the undead world's sense of Rhaegar, and the originally increasing gravitational pull began to weaken, and the black hole stopped expanding.
However, the crisis is not completely over, the black hole with a diameter of nearly half a meter opens like the mouth of a giant beast, and once Rhaegar is out of that body, or the little life energy remaining in the mage's body is dissipated, the irresistible gravitational pull will forcibly drag him to the undead realm.
Knowing this, Rhaegar did not waste time, and while resisting the attraction with the help of the black hole of life force remaining in the corpse, under his control, a huge amount of soul energy continued to surge to all parts of the mage's body, and then transformed into life energy, and the mage's body that was re-filled with vitality gradually blocked the attraction from the undead world, and the black hole that lost its sense of the spirit gradually shrank, and finally disappeared into the air.
