The children didn't have much to play for, and soon the adults called them home, and the door slammed shut behind them, trying to keep the cold winter out, and then there was a quackling laugh or a whoa-wah-wah-wai cry from the house.

To the east of Qingdu, in a small alley called Liujiao Lane, there are many fewer people in and out than some time ago, this is a dead end, there is only an old small door in it, you can see a small pond along the path behind the door, the water is clear, you can see the silt at the bottom of the pond at a glance, there is nothing in it, but there is an old man who sits by the pond all day long and fishes.

The fisherman is Lao Ke, who is always staring blankly at the water, silently thinking, perfecting the big things they are doing, not moving mountains, but spreading faith.

Occasionally, people of different genders and ages would come to him, and they would also move a small bench and sit on the water, staring at the water, as if hoping that a fish would be baited, and sometimes they would talk a few words, in a very small voice, as if they were afraid of disturbing the fish.

With the help of these people, some of them went smoothly and carried out very quickly, and after coming to Qingdu and finding Miao Liren, Dongzang and Xu Qing'an, the first thing Lao Ke did was to let a well-known cultivator enter the palace to find the national teacher Meng Yongnian and tell them about their intention to spread the faith.

The doctrine has been sorted out. It is divided into four parts, the first part tells about the wonder and greatness of the Creator; The second part describes heaven and hell; The third part confesses the meaning of faith—leaving the world and going to heaven for the soul; Often accompanied by the Creator, the fourth part is the most. It is said that the way to enter heaven after death is to do good.

There are no regulations related to diet and living habits, but it only tells what is good and how to be good, and there are also some principles of life, which are paraphrased from Confucianism and Buddhism.

In one of the very inconspicuous places, there is a clause about the equality of all beings, but it does not mention the cultivator at all, but it speaks of man and animal, to the effect that both man and animal come from the hand of the Creator. There is no difference between high and low, people will eat other animals, and other animals will eat people. This is how life is continued, and it will continue to continue, and there must be no bullying in the treatment of others or other partners, and there must be an egalitarian heart. Otherwise, the Creator will not like it. Punishment will fall.

This one is in Yu Ye's notebook, which is the foreshadowing for moving mountains, and in the future, people can be replaced with immortals, and animals can be replaced by ordinary people.

After getting the doctrine, Meng Yongnian read it carefully, and immediately felt that this matter was feasible, although the first half of the doctrine was nonsense in his eyes, but it accounted for the second half of the good article. Whether it is for the country, for the people, or for this world, there is only good and no harm, so he sent the teachings to the emperor.

The emperor was furious when he saw the teachings. He is the Son of Heaven on high above, how can he be as equal as all beings? However, the words brought by the old Kepai immediately made the high-ranking son of heaven happy: Why is it not the creator that the emperor can be the emperor? If the emperor is also a believer, he can understand that "the throne is also given by the Creator", and release this sentence, then the more devout believers, the more stable his throne will be, of course, there will still be a struggle for power, but there is no difference from now, the difference is that the people under the rule are more kind, and it is not good to have fewer wicked people?

So the emperor became the first group of believers.

With the official consent, with the official support, the spread of faith is surprisingly fast, and the emperor also believes in the Creator, so what is good at the top, and what is good at the bottom will follow, he quotes a few words of doctrine in the court, and the ministers who like to slip around and pat the horse will inevitably go back to study the doctrine, and those who are upright will go back to study the doctrine, no matter what purpose the ministers have for this faith, the officials below them will follow suit, and the doctrine will continue to spread in this way in the future.

The faith was propagated among the upper classes by the emperor, while the lower classes of the common people had special people to lead them in the study of the doctrines.

This method was not thought up by Lao Ke, but Xu Qing'an, the initiator of moving the mountain, applied the earth's missionary system.

The first article of the good is written very clearly, all those who are willing to spread the faith will be loved by the Creator, and the devout belief in the good is itself a kind of good.

Among them, Li Yuncong, Jin Yang and others stayed in Qingdu, and set up missionary churches in civilian areas and rich areas, wandering and preaching, each lasting one day at a time, teaching people to read and write in the morning and spreading doctrines in the afternoon.

No money, no identity restrictions, can be literate and can learn, how can ordinary people let go of such an opportunity? The church was full every day, and the rows of chairs that had been placed were moved out of the church, because they took up space, and there were still a few more people standing without these chairs.

The wealthy merchants were not very zealous, they were content with the status quo, some of them became believers because they had heard too much and were curious, and found the teachings, while others remained indifferent as long as the Creator let them continue to make money.

For these low-status middle-class classes with rich material life, Lao Ke also used his method - using copied teachings to offset taxes.

Merchants have to pay a lot of taxes, and they use the copied teachings to offset some of the taxes, and they make more money, and it also solves the problem that there are too few teachings that are not conducive to dissemination, and the country will definitely lose something at first, but if the faith can be spread, the stability of the country will bring prosperity, and in the long run, it will also be a good investment.

Most of the people who came out of Willow Waist Lane left Qingdu and went to various secular countries in the Tianji Continent, some of them were powerful cultivators, even if they couldn't fly with their swords, they could go to great distances at a very fast speed, and they also persuaded the ruler first, and then started from the capital, established a missionary church, and spread the teachings.
