――How did you feel about today's recording?

Mayori Uchida: It's rare for me to talk about myself like this in front of the camera, and I thought I was nervous at first, but when I started talking, I felt that the atmosphere was very relaxed, and I had a lot of fun with the whole interview.

――When you recorded it, you said that the characters would possess you in "ON" mode, and this sentence made a deep impression on everyone. So conversely, when do you feel like you're back in "OFF" mode?

Maori Uchida: Actually, I don't know when. Even after work, sometimes it is difficult to tell whether you are back in a private state or not.

――In other words, when you return home, do the characters still possess you?

Maori Uchida: Once you enter "ON" mode, it's really hard to end. Even if you return to the "OFF" mode, as soon as you read the next script, you will enter the work mode again, and you will instantly enter the role.

――What a voice actor through and through.

Mayori Uchida: But that's also the joy of being a voice actor. Because of the influence of roles, you can occasionally become like a big sister or a little sister in your daily life, and experience a different life from yourself. …… Then, if you really want to say that you are back in the "OFF" state, it is probably only when you go back to your hometown to talk to your mother or chat with friends on the phone.

- I see. Can you give us some examples of what you've enjoyed so far?

Maori Uchida: It's difficult to cite one...... The first thing that came to mind was the activity that I did with Sayuri Yasaku, who co-starred with Sayuri Yasaku, and the original author, Mitsuru Hattori, when NICONICO was broadcast, and I had a lot of fun! Actually, I had just made my debut before that, "NICO is released!? What am I going to do!? Who's going to save me!? "I'm really worried. Mayori Uchida: I was nervous at first, but after the end, Yasaku-seni complimented me, "I worked hard!" I couldn't be happier! Mayori Uchida: yes. In the end, only about 10 copies were sold, and I really felt like I was going to die...... (laughs).

- Really... It's hard. But now I can face it with a smile (laughs).

Uchida: But there's a follow-up to this, and recently I participated in the Revenge part of this project! At that time, there were a lot of guests, and I was very emotional to see such a scene, so many friends were able to come here for me, and at the same time, I also felt my own growth! It's great to be able to work hard without giving up!

■I challenge the thing that I have never experienced!

――There were a lot of scenes where you talked about your interests, especially music. So what made you fall in love with music?

Maori Uchida: I can't talk about the opportunity, but when I noticed it, I already liked the sound life. Life without music always makes me feel still, so I usually bring headphones or earplugs.

――By the way, do you have any favorite music by the way?

Maori Uchida: I listen to a wide range of genres, and I don't really like the kind of music I really like. But now I like to listen to the theme song "DefyingGravity" of the overseas TV drama "glee". Also, I've been a fan of composer Yasunori Mitsuda's music for a long time, especially the music from the Macross and Final Fantasy series. In my daily life, I often pin my feelings on music, such as "Today I want to move forward with the music of battle!" "In this way, cheer yourself up.

- I see. Recently, Uchida has been actively involved in music activities for a long time, will your activities as a singer continue to increase in the future?

Mayori Uchida: Yes, I want to try my hand at a variety of fields, but this April is the second year since I started my activities as a singer, and I want people to see how I have grown.
