Yukino's May interview is fully recorded
It's a pity that it's not an exclusive interview, but it's an honor to be able to interview Miss Yukino May, after all, I was also impressed by the multiple roles of Yukino May, and I would like to thank our Guangzhou Beryl, Tofu and later translator Keiko for their efforts, and also thank the organizer Firefly for inviting Miss Yukino May. The questions about "Kinken" and "Gintama" in the interview are very interesting, so you should read them carefully! Some of the questions were asked by other media outlets.
1. How did Miss Yukino feel about the city when she first came to Guangzhou? Is there anything you'd like to eat?
Yukino: I haven't eaten the knife-cut noodles, the kind that fly up while sharpening, so I'd love to try them.
(Impression of Guangzhou)
I think Guangzhou is a very beautiful city. Coming from the airport, I saw a lot of high-rise buildings. Those high-rise buildings are very colorful, and it is rare to use such brilliant colors in Japan, so I think Japan should learn from it. There are a lot of colorful buildings in Guangzhou, and some of them have triangular roofs, which I think is very cute.

2. What do you like to do during your breaks?
Yukino: I usually go to yoga or rest at home. Sometimes on a whim, I will clean the room.

3. Regarding the question of "Current Television Research", if Miss Yukino is Saki Kasugabe, would you choose Harunobu Madara or Makoto Takasaka? For what?
Yukino: I would not hesitate to choose Madara. He's a clumsy boy, but if I had to choose, I'd definitely like Madara compared to Takasaka. I like clumsy boys. (laughs)

4. Among the famous characters played by Miss Yukino, such as Yoichi Shikaedein, Kagome Sunset, and Miaoshi Shimura, are all female characters with a strong style and gentle demeanor. How do you deal with these seemingly opposite personalities?
Yukino: I feel that being strong and gentle are the same thing. I believe that it is precisely because of being strong that we can be gentle with others. If you are a more cowardly person, you will spend most of your energy on yourself and have no leisure to take care of other people. Restrain yourself and try to be gentle with others, if you are not strong enough, you will not be able to do this. So I try to minimize my cowardly parts and try to be strong.

5, in "Gintama", Miss Yukino May dubbed for Miaoshi Shimura, and the setting in the play is that Miaoshi Shimura is a woman with very poor cooking skills, I wonder how Miss Yukino's own cooking skills are? In addition, in the play, Shimura Aoke is crazy pursued by Xun Kondo, I wonder how Miss Yukino May of Kudodo views such a crazy pursuit of Xun Kondo from the perspective of a woman?
Yukino: I'm not very good at cooking myself. It's not to the point of dark matter, but it's something similar. But I envy people who are very good at cooking or who like to cook. It's true.
(Impressions of Isao Kondo)
I think it's great. Recently, in Japan, there has been a trend of herbivore-like men, and I don't think it's okay. To like is to like, and love is to say it out loud. I hope that everyone will learn more from Kondo, and love will be spoken out loud. Well.

6. When it comes to Ah Miao in Gintama and Yeyi in Death, everyone will always want to call them the eldest sister. Will Miss Yukino be called the big sister by the other voice actors on the recording set? What about real life?
Yukino: For the last seven or eight years, I seem to have been playing the role of the eldest sister. But in the past, some girls younger than me would also call me "Sister Xue", and other people's impression of me was the feeling of a big sister.
7. Who has a better relationship with in the voice actor circle?
Yukino: I have a good relationship with Miss Kumiko Watanabe, who played Shippo in "Inuyasha". Now that I'm married to her and Maitreya (Koshi Tsujiya), it seems that Maitreya is more important than me. Although it has decreased since I got married, we used to travel and eat together a lot. There is also Nami Okamoto, who plays Ayumi, and she often eats together.

8. Is there any special opportunity to embark on the road of voice actor?
Yukino: When I was a child, I always wanted to be a nurse until I was 12 years old. However, once, a friend said to me, do you know that Yixiu and the afterlife tears in the cat's eyes are played by the same person. I said, isn't it completely different? Impossible, I bet! I confidently dismissed her claims. But I still care a lot, and my friend told me that it was true. At that time, I happened to meet a replay of Ichiyu, and Maoyan was also on the air, and when I looked at the cast, it was a person named Shuko Fujita, and it was really played by the same person, so amazing! What the hell is going on! After that, I became interested in the work of voice actors. And then all the way to the present.

9. Miss Yukino began to aspire to become a voice actor after watching Rumiko Takahashi's "A Moment of Reunion". After many years, Miss Yukino played the heroine Kagome Sunset in Takahashi-sensei's work "Inuyasha". How does Miss Yukino feel about having the opportunity to become the heroine voice actress of Mr. Takahashi's work?
Yukino: First of all, I think the work "A Moment of Togetherness" is great from beginning to end. I've loved Rumiko-sensei's work since "Lucky Star Kid". Other short works, such as "Journey of Fire". "Journey of Fire" I think is the origin of "Inuyasha" or something. There is also "Smile Target", after watching these works, I watched "A Moment of Togetherness". It happened to be when I was in school, so I felt that it was a work that projected my ideal youth. At that time, the demarcation between cartoons, comics, and TV dramas was not very clear in my own consciousness, and "A Moment of Togetherness" was "A Moment of Reunion". Later, I became a voice actor myself, and I was very touched to find that the cartoon of "A Moment of Together" restored the original meaning of the comic very well, which can be called a miracle. I think that if you like the original work, you must also be very concerned about whether the voice of the voice actor will be different from what you imagined when it is animated, although there are many such cases. But "A Moment of Reunion" does not have this sense of disobedience. So I want that when I perform it myself, others will feel that my voice matches the original. Even if I feel different, I can accept it, and this is my ideal state.

10. Inuyasha's animation has been broadcast for four and a half years (Muji + Ending), and the performance and production team should be very familiar with each other, have you been particularly impressed by anything that has happened during the years of cooperation?
Yukino: Most of the production team and voice actors of "Inuyasha" are married. Maitreya and Shippo were recently married, but the first to marry was Mr. Kamiru Wada, who was in charge of music production, and my younger brother Kusata, who was in charge of the production, in the first year of production. After that, the director and the producer got married (laughs), which is incredible. Then there was the marriage between sound producers. Everyone is looking for it, who will be next? (Hilarious)

11. What role does Miss Yukino want to challenge in the future?
Yukino: If you get a job, you want to do it no matter what kind of role you want.

12. As a successful voice actor, please give some advice to friends in China who want to become voice actors.
Yukino: Did you come to Japan from China to be a voice actor? I heard that there are many Chinese students at the professional school I graduated from. I was shocked that so many people in China want to become voice actors. With so many people in China, the competition should be fierce. Under such circumstances, I think it's a great thing to come to Japan to be a voice actor. I myself was only in Japan, and it took a lot of courage to go to Beijing from other places. So, coming to Japan from abroad is different in terms of life and language, and the level of consciousness required is completely different from that of Japanese people, so I think I want to learn this spirit. It's just that as a senior who is already a professional voice actor, I want to say that the effort will never be in vain, and it will blossom no matter what, so when you encounter difficulties, please remember this sentence of mine.
