Chapter Seventy-Four: The Devil's Whisper

"So, you've always been guiding Ginny to open the secret room and bring out the basilisk, kill the school rooster, and even the writing on the wall is smeared by Ginny." Augustus looked at Ginny lying on the ground, sighed slightly, and said word by word.

"BINGO, THAT'S A GOOD ANSWER." Riddle remained calm, "Of course, at first she didn't know what she was doing. It's very interesting. I wish you could read her new journal entries and it's getting interesting, dear Tom......"

"Impossible! Ginny won't take the initiative to do these things, it must be you, you are the one who manipulated all this behind your back, Ginny is just confused by you, you demon! Ron rudely interrupted Riddle with an angry look on his face.

"Hehe, you might as well listen to the diary of this well-behaved little girl." Riddle paid no heed to Ron's words, staring into Harry's slightly frightened eyes as he recited the contents of his diary, "I feel like I'm losing my memory. My robes were covered with chicken feathers, and I don't know how they got them. Dear Tom, I don't remember what I did on Halloween Eve, but a cat was killed and my chest was covered in paint. Dear Tom, Percy always told me that I had a bad face and a somewhat unusual look. I think he might have suspected me of another attack today, and I can't remember where I was. Tom, what should I do? I feel like I'm going crazy, I think I'm the one who attacked all of them, Tom!"

Harry's fists clenched, his nails digging deep into his flesh.

"Playing with people's hearts and teasing other people's sincerity can really bring you so much pleasure?" Loki's expression was cold, and he felt a hint of anger at the content of Riddle's words.

"For him, people like Ginny are just playthings, of course, if he can achieve his goal, it would be better, I have to say, their kind of people live a really easy life, because the so-called sincerity, loyalty, responsibility, in their opinion, are just the use of each other, the value between people, for them, only naked interests." Augustus spoke in a heavy tone, with an inexplicable sadness in his eyes.

"Ha Luha, the analysis is good, Ginny would not have been manipulated by me so easily for so long if she had the IQ of one ten-thousandth of the two of you, this silly girl, for her, the empathetic Riddle will always be her most loyal companion, should I be glad that such a naïve person picked up the diary." Riddle laughed wildly, with contempt and disdain in his eyes.

"It was a long, long time before the silly little Ginny stopped trusting her diary." "She finally got suspicious and tried to throw it away." That's when you plugged in, Harry. I couldn't be happier to have found it. I didn't expect that among so many people, you actually picked up this diary, you are the person I most desperate to see."

"Why do you want to see me?" Harry asked. He was furious, and it took a lot of effort to keep his tone steady.

"For Voldemort, the man who brought him down in his heyday and defeated him head-on, of course he wanted to see, to see what kind of magic this person had, to bring the Dark Lord who had ruled the dark magic world for so long to a complete end, this man not only ended a legend, but also rescued countless wizards who were oppressed by him, such a feat is extraordinarily alluring for anyone. Not to mention Voldemort himself. Augustus said lightly, his gaze fixed on Riddle.

Riddle smiled nonchalantly, "Looks like you know me well." I was actually disappointed to see Harry himself, the famous Harry Potter is such a timid and powerless ordinary person, and even you are really far from the two Slytherins next to you. I'm really puzzled, how did a baby, without any particularly magical spells, defeat the greatest wizard of all time? How could you escape unharmed, leaving only a scar and Voldemort's power destroyed?"

"You're not." He said, his calm voice filled with hatred. "What's not?" Riddle asked sharply.

"Not the greatest wizard in the world," Harry said breathlessly, "I'm sorry to disappoint you, but the greatest wizard in the world is Albus Dumbledore." Everybody says so. Even when you are strong, you don't dare to try to control Hogwarts. Dumbledore saw you through when you were in school, and he still scares you, no matter where you're hiding these days. ”

"Riddle, you really shouldn't be confident enough to say so much nonsense to us, you are just a memory now, even your essence is no match for Lord Augustus, I really don't know where you got the confidence to dare to stand in front of us with just a memory." There was a hint of a smile in Loki's amber pupils, as if the young Dark Lord in front of him was nothing more than a poor salted fish.

"Augustus? I heard Harry say in my diary, so you defeated my deity head-on? Interestingly, it was a blessing for Slytherin to have such strength at such a young age. Riddle surprisingly didn't pay attention to Loki's sarcasm.

"Speaking of which, your strength is not bad, even if I am your age, it is only so, with your current magic fluctuations, there are no more than ten people who can surpass you among the students of Hogwarts. It was a great blessing for Slytherin to have two such remarkable men. There was a slight smile on Riddle's handsome face, as if he was genuinely congratulating Augustus and Loki.

Loki opened his mouth and was about to speak, but suddenly froze there.

The sound of music wafted from nowhere. Riddle jerked away, looking at the empty chamber. The music is getting louder and louder. The voice is illusory, ethereal and mysterious, and it is exciting to listen to. It made the hair stand on end on Harry's scalp and made his atria twice as large. The music grew louder and louder, and at last Harry felt as if it was vibrating in his chest. At that moment, flames erupted from the top of the nearest stone pillar.

A crimson bird, the size of a crane, suddenly descended from the sky, playing its strange music on the vaulted ceiling. It has a gleaming golden tail, as long as a peacock's tail, and a pair of glittering claws that clutch a tattered package on it.

It seems that Dumbledore has been paying attention to Hogwarts' every move, the so-called resignation is just a pretext, with the power of a legendary archmage, the so-called school board is just a joke, this headmaster, indeed worthy of his evaluation. Augustus narrowed his eyes slightly, and the corners of his mouth outlined a strange arc.
