Chapter Eighty-Four: The Great Divine Technique
The sun shone untarily on the earth, and when the day of school came, Augustus took the house-elves with his luggage, and after bidding farewell to his parents, he rode alone in a carriage to London Station.
Entering the 9th and 3/4 stations, the scarlet train is quietly displayed on the platform, and Augustus strolls into the carriage, looking for a spare compartment in the crowded carriage.
"Mr. Augustus, there is a place here." No sooner had he passed a carriage than Augustus heard Hermione's trademark voice. Turning around, he found Harry Ron Hermione looking at him in the next compartment.
Smiling slightly, he opened the door, and Augustus put his luggage into the frame and sat down by the window, with Hermione on his left with a smile on his face.
"Mr. Augustus, how is this holiday, I just returned from a trip to France, the scenery there is indeed charming, and the French people are very hospitable, the culture and environment are quite good." Hermione's long hair curled up slightly like waves, and it looked like it had been specially tied.
"I spent most of the holidays at home, and from what you described, France seems to be a bit interesting, and if I have the chance, I can travel it. By the way, Harry, I heard you blew your aunt up? Augustus looked at Harry, who was speechless, with a smile in his eyes.
"Well, seriously, if it weren't for her verbal aggression against my parents too much, I wouldn't have done this, she did a bit excessive, so she punished her slightly, fortunately the Ministry of Magic was quite lenient about it, and didn't do anything harsh." Harry pushed his glasses awkwardly and said slowly.
"By the way, who do you think he is?" Ron suddenly pointed to the man cowering in the corner and asked sharply.
Augustus followed suit, only to find that there was actually a person sleeping soundly in the corner, and if it wasn't for Ron's question, he probably wouldn't have found it.
âRīŧ Professor J. Lupin. Hermione immediately whispered.
"How do you know about the Dao?"
"Didn't he say it on his box?" Hermione replied, pointing to the luggage rack on the man's head, where there was a small, worn-out box, tied with many ropes and neatly knotted. âRīŧ Professor J. Lupin: "The words are printed in the corner of the box, and the letters have peeled off.
"I don't know what he taught?" Ron said, frowning at the lifeless silhouette taught by Lupin.
"Obviously, there's only one place missing from the Hogwarts professors right now, Defence Against the Dark Arts." Augustus looked at the sleeping professor and said lightly.
"Well, I hope he'll be up to the task." Ron said suspiciously, "It's like a spell will kill him, doesn't he look like that?"
"It's said that this course is cursed that no one can stay in office for a long time, so you don't notice that every semester the teacher of this course will be changed." Hermione said mysteriously.
"It's just a rumor, maybe this professor can really be up to the job." Augustus stared at Professor Lupin, who was rather thin in front of him, his eyes flickering.
"By the way, do you know anything about Hogsmeade?" Hermione asked keenly.
"The only place in England where there are no Muggles? If nothing else, we should be able to visit this year. Augustus smiled, clearly expecting it.
"yes, I think so," Ron said, nodding, "but that's not why I want to go." I just want to go to Duke Honey!"
"Duke Honey? Sounds like a candy store? Augustus wondered.
"Yes," Ron said, a dreamy look on his face. "There's a little pepper boy there?? Smoke comes out of its mouth when you eat it?? And the oily chocolate balls, which are full of strawberry custard and general custard, and the really wonderful quills made of sugar, which you can suck on in class, and look like you're thinking about what to write next?"
"Sounds interesting." Augustus nodded.
"But Hogsmeade is a fun place, isn't it?" Hermione asked eagerly. "The book says that the inn was the headquarters of the monster rebellion of 1612, and that the Screaming Shack was probably the most ghostly house in all of England??"
"The huge ice cream ball makes you float several inches off the ground as you suck it." Ron said he must not have listened to a word of what Hermione said.
The train is getting slower and slower. The sound of the wheels was quieter, and the wind and rain outside the window were louder. Harry was closest to the door, getting up to check the hallway. In the carriages on the side of the corridor, there were people peeking out. The train shook and stopped, and there was a thudding sound in the distance, indicating that the luggage had fallen from the shelf. Then, all of a sudden, all the lights went out, and they were thrown into complete darkness.
Augustus's face was slightly solemn, this was obviously not a natural factor, but man-made, who was so daring to intercept the entire Hogwarts train.
Drawing out the silver wand, the first-level magic light spell was cast, the bright light instantly expelled the darkness, the cold aura spread, and the windows on the carriage were covered with a thick layer of frost, showing a crystal reflection arc in the incandescent light.
Professor Lupin seems to have finally woken up. There was a slight popping sound in the carriage. "Stay where you are, don't move." He said, still in the same hoarse voice. He slowly stood up, hands full of fire in front of him. But before he could get to the door, it slowly opened.
Standing in the doorway was a cloaked, ceiling-high monster. Its face is completely hidden under the turban. Harry's eyes rolled down, and what he saw made his stomach tighten: a hand came out of his cloak, and it shimmered, gray, thin, and crusted, like something had died, soaked in water and rotted in the water, and it had taken less than a second for the hand to appear. The monster under the cloak seemed to feel Harb's gaze, and the hand suddenly shrank into the folds of the black cloak. Then, something beneath the turban, whatever it was, took a breath, long, slow, and trembling, as if trying to suck something other than air from the surroundings.
"Dementors?" Augustus had a look of disgust in his eyes, and they all felt a chill run over their bodies. The silver wand crossed an inexplicable trajectory in the air, the robe flew, a six-pointed star array under his feet was connected, and an indescribable light burst out from the front of the wand in an instant, and for a time the whole world seemed to be lit up, and only a white expanse was left in front of everyone's eyes, and there was like an extra sun in the darkness, and the strong light filled and expelled a large area of darkness, and in a daze, only the hoarse wails of the dementors remained.
The Great Divine Technique, the eighth-level forbidden technique of the light system, at this moment, finally tore apart the gentle side of the light system spell, showing its powerful power to expel darkness.
