Interview with Nana Mizuki Nishikawa in Singapore
This year, in the Anisong world, the fact that TMR and Nana Mizuki sang the theme song for the Revolutionary Machine is definitely a very shocking news for fans. Not only can you see it in Japan, this year's AFA Singapore also invited two heavyweight artists to Singapore to participate in the AFA concert. Although the AFA has been over for almost a month, we will also start to put AFA artist interviews here. I'm really sorry to keep you waiting. This interview was conducted by the media together, and I would like to thank the other media for their questions, and also thanks to the anisong-headline video as a reference, which gave us the opportunity to translate into text.
TMR: Hi everyone, I'm excited to see you all again. I really feel happy to be here in Singapore again, to be part of the AFA again and to meet you again. Really appreciate it.
Nana: It's nice to meet you, I'm Nana Mizuki. I'm very happy because it's my first time in Singapore and it's my first time attending an event outside of Japan. When I stood on the stage just now, I felt a very warm welcome from everyone, and I was really touched. I'm going to do my best tonight to perform for everyone. Thank you very much for your support.

Q: You sang the theme song for the Japanese drama "Switch-Girl", do you think you feel like a switch-girl in real life?
Nana: A little bit! But I'm often told that I'm acting like an uncle. Ha ha
TMR: Huh!? Uncle? Why don't you just stay like that? (The Sect Master jokingly said)

Q: In this collaboration between TMrevolution and Nana Mizuki, both of you are very popular artists. How does it feel when you work together as a group?
TMR: Hmm...... Let me see. When we work together, there is no difficulty, because there is zero conflict of opinion between us. It was a really great time working with Nana.
Nana: I also had a great time and experience when I took on this assignment. I used to listen to him (TMR) all the time when I was in high school, so I was really nervous when working with this senior.
The sect leader said in an instant: Naiko (little Nana) ~ Hello
Nana: He really gave me a lot of support and encouragement to make me feel relaxed. That's why I'm able to keep my composure and I can sing without reservation, as I've always done.

Q: Did you find it difficult to cooperate with Nishikawa Guijiao-San? For example: he was a very strict person?
Nana: Hahaha, he's a very nice person. Actually, I am a very shy person, but thanks to his efforts, I am not shy and very friendly with him.

Q: In order to match the meaning of the two of you to music, how did you create a song that would suit the two of you?
TMR: In the beginning, I wanted to get to know each other's personalities more deeply, so I watched a lot of Nana's LIVE videos. That's where I thought: it's really great to be able to sing and make zuΓ² songs with such a dazzling artist as her. And it was in the process that I started to figure out how I could resonate with her voice and create something really amazing.
Nana: Actually, I have the same idea as TMR, and I can participate in the TMR team and produce "PerseveredRoses". After that, in Nana Mizuki's team, TMR did the same and created a second song: [Revolution γγ₯γ’γͺγΊγ ]. However, it is also a difficult obstacle to overcome. In a female and male chorus, we wanted to create a new form of chorus. So we started thinking about how to evolve the song into something different. When we have the opportunity to work together again and make zuΓ² songs together, we will continue to look for a solution with the idea of "creating a song that truly represents us, a song that no one else can do the same".

Q: This is your first time in Singapore, how do you feel about Singapore so far?
Nana: Even though I just arrived in Singapore yesterday, I have already found that Singapore is a great place, with a very tropical feel, great sunshine and very hot and humid air. But seeing the tall buildings and skyscrapers in the city is really unique. Just looking at this, the whole person became excited. Unfortunately, I will have to go back to Japan soon, but I will definitely come back to Singapore for my personal vacation.
Translator: Takayo Nishikawa-san, if I'm not wrong, this is your second time in Singapore?
TMR: Well, yes. After the last AFA2012, I was here for my fan event. So I had the opportunity to go to some sightseeing places in Singapore. I went to Sentosa, UniversalStudio, theZoo, NightSafari......
Nana: Awesome......
TMRοΌβ¦β¦ Also I tried ChiliCrab, ChickenRice and tried Italian food. In the end, I think it would be really great to live and live in Singapore.

Q: Recently, you released the single "Heaven-only-knows", can you share with us what inspired the production of this single?
TMR: Not long ago, there was a drama called "Revolution", where everything in that world is operated by electricity, and if the electricity is gone and gone, how can we continue to live from that moment on? Then I thought, what if the things that are given to us are more fragile than we think? For example: our family. When we lose them, we realize how important they mean to us. At the same time, I also felt like I was given this opportunity because of the name of the show, "Revolution", and the name of my BAND, "T.MRevolution".
