INTERVIEWER First of all, does the name "Launcher" have anything to do with the bazooka you are carrying in the photo?

LiSA: Yes, but there's also a computer app called "Launcher". I would like to take the meaning of "launch" and "launch" in the sense of the word "launcher".

INTERVIEWER Are you saying that the meaning of this new album is to launch something, to launch something?

LiSA: For example, the courage to move forward tomorrow and the feeling of working harder tomorrow are like to ignite this positive feeling in the hearts of the listeners. So far, the albums I've released have been about feelings, love, and celebrating friendship, so this time I wanted to be a little more innovative and make a new album from the perspective of "take your hand and run forward with me". In this sense, the new album "Launcher" is more powerful and intense than previous albums.

- The new album is full of emotion and powerful, and most of the songs are full of rock and roll colors, giving people a strong sense of excitement. However, after listening carefully, you will find that the overall selection of songs is varied, and the range of music is much wider than before.

LiSA: Last year, a big part of LiSA was to put the rock part at the forefront (like "RisingHope") while challenging medium tempos (like "NoMoreTimeMachine") and slow lyrical songs (like "Imprint"). After challenging these songs that have changed a lot, I am glad that LiSA is a singer who can sing any tune and will not waver in his heart. Today's LiSA has a much wider music field, and there are many things that I have the confidence to challenge.

INTERVIEWER Many of the writers you've worked with so far have been involved in the production of the new album "Launcher", can you tell us about the writers you see as writers?

LiSA: Everyone is a writer who knows me well, and I trust you very much. For example, the first song of the new album, "Mr. Launcher", is a breakthrough rock song, and in order to make it easier for everyone to accept this song, the writer of the fourth single "traumerei" HIDEONEKOTA has put a lot of effort into the lyrics and melody. As for Mr. Tabuchi, he created "rapidlifesyndrome" and "BadSweetTrap" for me. I wanted "RapidLifeSyndrome" to be a song that had a vision for tomorrow and was able to match the atmosphere of the concert later, so Mr. Tabuchi had a hard time creating it.

- In the rock-rich repertoire, there is a "ErectLyrical" that seems out of place. This song has a nostalgic game-like feel, and the lyrics have a lot of game language, so it's quite humorous.

LiSA: This song was inspired by the old song "Computer Granny" (original title: "コンピューターおばあちゃん"), which is also a representative work that symbolizes the expansion of my musical field. Most of the songs on the album are rock music, but I am sure that everyone will be surprised that there is such a song that looks like game music (laughs). I wanted to do the opposite, and when everyone was really looking forward to what the next song would be like like a rock song, I sent a slightly funny game music, hoping that everyone would laugh and tolerate me when they heard it, after all, this is me who loves to play pranks.

- AcousticRock's "The Clown Who Brings You Laughter" (original title: "Jun にピエロ") is a song written by LiSA yourself.

LiSA: Yes. Speaking of which, I'm a person who likes professional chefs to cook for me even though all the ingredients are ready for me, so I rarely think about lyrics and music, so even this time "The Clown Who Brings You Laughter", I asked the writer to help me write it. As for the lyrics, I think sometimes it's better to convey my feelings by writing them myself, just like my mother made a love bento for me. So, this time I chose a song and wrote the lyrics myself. Isn't it possible to have a dish that I make myself to better convey my love (laughs).

- But why did you choose "Joker" as the theme?

LiSA: The clown wears a very funny heavy makeup, he deliberately falls down to make people laugh, it's completely for the laughter of others, and I find resonance in the clown. I also have times of loss and sadness, just take the matter of blogging, I sometimes don't want to blog, but the reason why I stick to blogging every day is because I know that blogging can bring joy to readers and become their strength. When they're happy, I'm happy. I figured out the song guò and said, "You are my driving force!" So I sang in the first line of the lyrics, "I'm a clown!" I hope you can understand my thoughts.

– On April 29th, I knew you were going to have a concert tour. I just held a Budokan concert in January, and I started the concert tour in April, so even though it was only a small LiveHouse concert, I guess I was a little tired.

LiSA: I think it's very rewarding to hold a LiveHouse concert after Budokan. For me, the Budokan concert was like a big coming-of-age ceremony for the children (songs) that I have been raising for a long time, and this LiveHouse concert tour is about raising new children, and I hope that "Launcher" will be the main song selected by the new album "Launcher", and I hope that "Launcher" will grow together with all the fans. I'm looking forward to seeing how the new children will grow up with you (laughs).

INTERVIEWER I know that you are currently cooperating with Tokyo Joypolis for the "JOYPOLiSA" event, but I wonder what new plans you have in the future.

LiSA: To be honest, I don't think I'm going to be able to do anything better than this album (wry smile). But from another point of view, the album "Launcher" is a work that incorporates what I want to do and what I can do. Every time I finish a new album, I have the idea that I won't be able to surpass it in the future. After the first day of the Budokan concert, I was desperate for the second day. However, when the concert started the next day, I was very engaged and happy, so I thought that the next day's performance would be better than the first day (laughs). The so-called life, in fact, is just that. As long as you cherish today, you will surely find new impressions and ideas tomorrow, so I plan to accumulate a fulfilling and meaningful day by step!
